It hit me in the head to go to warmer climes as soon as possible. It took one day to choose a tour and a hotel. The main search criteria were: the first line, the reef, the bay and not far from the walking spots in the city (Market, Naama, Soho), because hotel animations are never interesting to me in principle. Therefore, I chose Plaza, having shoveled all the reviews on all possible resources, and is ready for a wide variety of fakups. But since I came across a tour for $ 640 for two, I didn’t expect anything special, except for the sea.

None of the fears were confirmed. We were polite - they were polite to us. There were no problems with the reception and service, we calmly paid $ 20 extra (from the room, that is, 10 people) for early check-in and late check-out (4 hours of extra time), and we consider this absolutely normal. Restaurant waiters, cleaners, drivers, and other staff were friendly and always helpful.

On account of the state of the hotel: comments about the "remnants of former luxury" are somewhat true, this is not a five, everything is a little abandoned. But it is absolutely uncritical for us, even for such a price.

Kitchen. Two main restaurants (first and second floor), the food is different, not all delicious, but you can find something for yourself. The Egyptians, in principle, have strange ideas about food, its taste and spices, I realized this on my second visit to Sharm. Therefore, on the first day, I approximately determined for myself what was edible and what was not, and I adhered to the course throughout the rest (in the evenings, we went to dinner in Fares). Fried eggs (sometimes you have to queue for them), pasta and beef stew, and soups were the most delicious. Enough salads and vegetables. The pastry is awesome. The main thing is not to take sausages and sausages, because they are entirely made of paper, both in taste and in consistency.

The territory is bombed, the view from the reception and restaurants is simply chic. this is the first thing that struck the hotel.
And everywhere there are pools (only the water park and a large pool overlooking the sea were heated, enough), many flowers, illuminated palm trees. Beautiful in general.

The beach is ordinary, large enough, but we must keep in mind that it happens that there are not enough sunbeds for all, they are taken apart early. We love to sleep, so we came to the beach at 11 - everything was packed, we just spread towels on the sand by the sea and ran to swim. But in the first one, lunch begins and the beach is empty, choose sunbeds anywhere.

The reef is unbeatable. Since this was the main criterion for choosing a hotel, it met absolutely all expectations, even more. This is one of the best hotel reefs I have seen in Sharm. We saw a bunch of different fish, even swam into whole schools, and once a two-meter moray eel swam right under us.

In general, there is nothing to complain about, in view of the price we paid.

Minor overlays such as insufficient cleanliness in the room, or the lack of cutlery on the tables, were completely covered by the sea and the impression of the underwater world. The hotel made me happy, but my compatriots, who, on that all inclusive, were breaking loose on that chain, were upset. They are rude to the waiters, they demand more alcohol, they litter the beach, they scoop up food like it’s the last time, they push in lines. Even ashamed. It doesn't need to be like that.
