We decided NOT to take risks and NOT buy excursions on the street and from beach barkers. The situation in Egypt is unstable, terrorist attacks and the like, so they wanted to be sure of the operator. The prices of official and street operators differ significantly, for example, Jordan at the official costs $ 350, on the street - $ 200, but the guys who sell excursions on the street DO NOT bear any responsibility for safety and DO NOT return the money (for example, when us to tourists who bought a trip to Israel from them and who were not allowed at the border - the money was never returned). A quad bike at the hotel guide costs 35-40 dollars, on the street - 10-15 dollars. (there are even 5 dollars each). I’ll tell you about a real incident that happened to a tourist from our Hotel right when we were on vacation: she went to ride ATVs with the guys selling tours on the beach, fell, a huge hematoma on her leg, her shoulder swelled up. Help from the accompanying guys - only a glass of water, an experience, a shrug of the shoulders "insurance does not apply. " Therefore, we all listened to THIS and decided to take it only from the official.
What was chosen: YACHT (including the WHITE ISLAND) - 75 dollars. per person - we went on a huge ship (a yacht ala on sails, but goes on a motor): 3 (three) stops, 2 (two) swimming, while masks and fins are FREE, awesome corals are taken to the Ras Mohamed reserve (and not Tiran Island, where the guys from the beach take it cheaper) and one stop in the most beautiful place - the White Island - beautiful white sand, turquoise sea, extraordinary beauty.
The food was excellent on the yacht - for lunch there was squid soup with shrimp, fried fish, huge shrimp, fresh salads, a side dish and there were also mini beef skewers on skewers - very tasty, in general, a great trip.
And more importantly, certified divers who are with you all the time in the water and help, and everything is ok. There is also a similar excursion, but with a pirate show - the yacht is called the "Black Pearl" (very well decorated), so if you have children with you, then you are better off on this excursion, and if you are more interested in the White Island from the azure coast, then do not take a pirate yacht, but take the one we were on.
OVERALL EVALUATION OF THE EXCURSION YACHT: 5+ (EXCELLENT) or even 5++ (taking into account the amount of food (namely seafood, not chicken or fish) or even, as they say, 7 (seven) stars (taking into account that as White Island was promised, they were taken to enjoy the beauty).
