ARAB PARK HOLLYWOOD.
This year, more than ever, we wanted to take a break from problems, change the environment and switch our brains to the positive. But somehow it didn't work out. And lo and behold, that moment has arrived! By the end of August, prices for tours fell, planes to Sharm El Sheikh from the Dnieper had not yet been canceled, and we had the opportunity to escape for a week to our beloved Red Sea. We quickly made a fuss, the hotel was not chosen for a long time. We were quite satisfied with the one in which we were last time, and the price for it was acceptable, I rush to the travel agency with a bullet and now the goal has been achieved, the tour is booked and we are flying on vacation !!!!
Since we have been to Egypt more than once, the excursion program has already been completed, this time we decided to just relax and enjoy the sea. But the evening came, and there was nothing much to do in the hotel, and we thought that we would still have to entertain ourselves somehow. Well, we went once, checked in at 1001 nights, went to Naama by bus from the hotel, and then what to do? And then I remembered the HOLLYWOOD Amusement Park, which we had not seen yet, since it was opened after our last visit to Sharm. I found information about the park on the Internet. We decided to go there in the evening, still before dark, in order to have time to see everything and take normal photos. At the hotel we catch a taxi for $ 5 and at 19.00 we are at the entrance to the Park. Here we walked around the territory, looked at the figurines of dinosaurs and various fairy-tale characters. and began to wait for the cashier to start working and let them in. But to our surprise, we and a few other people who were bored nearby were politely invited to enter the territory and for free!! ! We still don't understand why we deserve such attention. A trifle, but nice. ))))
The territory turned out to be not very large, but there are only a lot of figures from different eras, from figures of dinosaurs, mammoths, elephants, sharks and other animals that are still slightly moving to modern movie characters made of metal. In the center there is a water channel with bridges, around a cafe, several small shops and a fountain, for which, in general, we came. Part of the territory behind the bridge is not yet open to the public, but we managed to see it without any problems. When it got dark and the bulk of the people began to arrive, the passage there was closed.
The fact that we arrived early had its pluses and minuses.
Plus - it's not many people, we looked at everything and took pictures while it was light.
Cons - we saw an unsightly view of the territory with garbage and figurines, which are made of fragile materials and every tourist considers it his duty to squeeze them and tear off some part of them. (((For some reason, the cleaning of the territory began already in the presence of visitors and without much enthusiasm. Fortunately, it began to get dark, the backlight turned on, all the sins were not so visible and the view had already become better. We walked up and did not know where else to stick ourselves, before the start there was still an hour left for the fountain show. We tried to leave several times, but decided, since we had already arrived, we would wait for the show. And we waited... with a sense of accomplishment of the cultural program, put a tick and headed to the exit, where the bored taxi drivers were standing and after a short haggling from 10 to 5 dollars, the taxi driver agreed to take us to the hotel with a breeze. on the sides that I wanted to pay him another $ 5 and ask him to slow down. But before we had time to blink an eye, we were already at the hotel.
The bottom line is this. The idea of building an amusement park for family holidays is not bad, and a lot of money has been invested, but we did not feel the desire and desire to keep everything in proper shape to attract more tourists. We haven’t finished the whole territory yet, the view is already the same as if it was opened ten years ago. And after all, only a year has passed, and what will happen next???? ? In general, visiting this place did not cause us much enthusiasm, but we spent the evening.
A few more words about the hotel. As I wrote above, the hotel was chosen, in which we were two years ago Shores Aloha 4 *.
Of course, we noticed changes. The hotel has turned from Italian into Russian-Arabic with a small number of Europeans. There were a lot of Arab families with children. It was fun to watch the older kids take care of the little ones. The audience was adequate, no one bothered anyone, the hotel had a homely calm atmosphere.
We were given a small room on the ground floor, with a good location, in a quiet, secluded corner, close to the pool and the beach. Cleaned normally, different frills from towels. The food was also good, we were not hungry.
The hotel has become an economy class. Savings were felt in everything. But we knew where and for what money we were going, therefore, we did not pay attention to the little things, but enjoyed the sea, which was nearby, this was the main thing for us. The sea and the weather were wonderful. Previously, we went in the spring, when the sea had not yet had time to warm up properly, but this time the water was 29-30 degrees. It was possible to sit in the sea for hours, which we did. I also enjoyed the pool after sunset. Before going to bed it was nice to swim.
In general, the task was completed, we had a rest, swam, looked at the fish, even saw a few new ones, again took a lot of underwater photos and returned home with positive impressions.
