We stayed as a couple at the end of December 2019. We arrived at the hotel at the end of dinner. Without bracelets, we immediately went to the dining room, where we ate what we managed to find: grilled fish, french fries, salads, sweets. By the way, dinners and lunches at the hotel are edible, ordinary food. Today rice, tomorrow potatoes or pasta. Always in portions: cutlets, meat, chicken, fish, and vegetable dishes and salads are already unattended. There has always been watery soup. Oranges, guava - in pieces, sweets also one by one in one hand. Breakfast - scrambled eggs or "mix" of 1-2 eggs at will, cottage cheese, vegetables, sausages, buns, fresh, sometimes warm, croissants with marmalade or honey.

Several rooms were changed during check-in. They gave me 10 dollars. The first room overlooking the bustling pool and evening disco. In the second, according to reviews, they saw bedbugs. We also nailed one on the bed in the morning.

On the third attempt, they decided to stay in room 324, although the mattress was sagging, the bathroom sink was upholstered, incomprehensible sounds of “blizzard” were constantly heard. Later they found out that the neighbors' refrigerator sang like that. But the hood in the bathroom worked, opening the door that was not locked with a lock, there was a free safe, a hairdryer and hot water, mosquitoes did not bite, we did not see bedbugs! ) The TV didn't work, but we didn't use it. Tolerable. View from the balcony to a quiet pool, the side is not sunny, mountains were visible in the distance. They brought two plastic cups, a small teapot, tea, coffee - sugar in sticks - too. Loose sugar in the dining room, you can't take it to your room.

The bed was changed several times, the towel for the feet - never. In the early days, the cleaning guy smiled, made swans and hearts out of towels, although we didn’t need to) He got a dollar for it.
But when we saw that hearts were made from yesterday's stale towels, we were shocked and stopped leaving money. After that, our room was cleaned only after the question of the cleaner - “Do you need to clean? » somewhere around 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Once left without towels, toilet paper. Repeatedly made comments to him and at the reception.

Every morning before breakfast, all campers were refreshed by the stench of waste products used to water plants.

Cleanliness and service in the hotel "none". If you turn a blind eye to many things, the hotel is more or less suitable only for spending the night and swimming and sunbathing by the pool.

We do not recommend visiting the SPA salon, on the recommendation of the tour operator Aneks. Sauna, bath and light stroking with a soapy washcloth, incomprehensible oil massage. The workers were not overworked. You can find better for $15.

We walked to Farsha beach for 40 minutes along the line of hotels and wastelands.
In order not to waste time, we took a taxi for $ 1 for two. Time will come in handy to have time to take the sunbeds while the beach bartender covers them with his towels to sell seats to guests from other hotels for $ 3. In the morning the hotel bus was not waiting. We arrived around 8 am. We took what we like.

Back from the beach at 12.30-12.45 - by shuttle bus. Standing, sitting on top of each other, as it turns out. The beach is small, we went to the neighboring beach of the Faraana Reef hotel several times until the security asked to leave.

There is no ordinary shower on the beach, the toilet is on top to the right of the entrance, near the cafe, if you stand facing the sea.

At the sea, where the sandy entry is shallow, strange people swim in masks to see 3-5 fish. It is better to snorkel and view the reefs and schools of fish from the pier on the right. There are always a lot of people there, after 5 days they broke a few steps at the wooden ladder to descend into the water.

Out of 8 days, 3 days a strong piercing cold wind blew.
The water in the sea is warmer than the air, the sun behind the clouds, standing on the pier - it blows through, getting out of the water - cold, a towel does not save, it is uncomfortable in a wet swimsuit, and there were no changing rooms on the beach either. If such a wind blows the whole vacation, it’s a pity that you won’t be able to swim for pleasure.

After dinner, we sunbathed in the hotel near the pool, listened to unobtrusive music, took weak cocktails several times.

In the evenings we went for a walk on the street in the Italian style of Il Mercato, on foot about 15 minutes from the hotel. With friends in the Fares restaurant, we bought 1 kg of shrimp to take away. Plus rice, sauces, vegetables. Everything cost $17. Of course, more expensive than in the Old Town, but the atmosphere on Il Mercato is nicer, cleaner, tidier, there are no terrible smells.

Getting to the colorful Soho Christmas Square in a taxi will cost $7. There is duty free. Discount alcohol. But it's better to bring your own. It is much more expensive here than in Boryspil.
On discounts only two days from arrival, according to the passport.

For $2 we got to Naama Bay. We walked along the beautiful promenade, sat on some beach, walked along the shopping malls.

We went to the Old City for 1 dollar. We went to the mosque, looked at the goods in the shops. We bought a mango for $ 1.5, chocolates "pebbles", leather belts. Mango can be bought everywhere, both in hotel shops and in the market to the left of the hotel for $ 2. Where is cheaper - only taxi drivers know.

The animators at the hotel worked poorly, for show, at the request and desire of vacationers. During the day we watched yoga, darts, a competition with balloons filled with water. In the evening after a children's disco, sometimes karaoke or dancing for adult vacationers.

Amazing Christmas evening on December 24th. Messed up with time. By 20.00, a crowd gathered near the dining room. It took about 40 minutes to enter. Here we last saw the animators and their costumes of the Snow Maiden and Santa. There was nothing unusual inside.
Only tables for 6 people and self-service. We sat, waiting for something, then got tired and rushed to the buffet at once. Queuing again. Only the cocktail bartender was top notch. His garnished cocktails were at the top. No one congratulated, there was no celebration of the holiday. Only a slight bewilderment from the disorganization of the staff and the incompetence of the animators.

Christmas dinner was a must. It was issued when buying a ticket, for $ 15 per person. And the animators at the hotel sold for 20. A little more meat than at a regular dinner, a little brighter sweets, cocktails, local vodka, gin, whiskey. Other alcohol - for a fee. By the way, on the eve of the holiday on December 23, local alcohol was already sold right here, at retail.

There was also a belly dance. True, the dancer had huge breasts, not her stomach and hips) Three pretty girls performed national dances well, until our figureless animator intervened, reducing their efforts to zero.
Then, the toothless youth performed a magnificent dance with a skirt and tambourines. At the end of the evening - a disco for the ten most persistent and sober vacationers.

I liked it in the evening cafe "Farsha". During the day, this is an ordinary homeless man with a pile of iron and wooden rubbish, old carpets, rusty bicycles and kerosene lamps. But in the evening it all turns into a fairy tale thanks to colored lights, candles and reflections of the sea. No one pushed us after the order chosen from the menu. There was everything: from a cup of coffee, non-alcoholic cocktails from guava, mango, strawberries to choose from, to any kind of fragrant hookahs.

You can return to the Viva Sharm 3 * hotel due to its convenient location in the Hadaba area on the 2nd line, a free beach, an authentic Farsha cafe, through which you descend daily to the warm sea, beautiful fish and a reef in a calm bay. Many taxi drivers near the hotel - it's nice to bargain and go in any direction.

Rest is always good.

A good rest is even better! )
