I read all the reviews about the hotel and decided to write my own. I rested in Tiran Island in September. I chose it, guided by the presence of a living coral reef and an affordable price. The hotel is located in Ras Nasrani, where there are hotels with beautiful reefs. Tiran is located on the second line, a few minutes walk downhill to the sea, you can take a taxi that runs regularly, so such a second line is completely relaxed. The beach is coral, in three tiers, cozy, there is a bar, toilet, shower. The entrance to the sea is only on a pontoon, stable and short. Beach attendants strictly monitor vacationers who enter the sea from the shore, hoping to wander through the corals. Coral walking is prohibited in this hotel!
Tiran Island is a new hotel, therefore still clean, with a good number of rooms. When you check in at the reception, they offer a “good” room for 30 bucks. I paid. Settled in a room above the pool overlooking a piece of the sea. Having studied the territory, location and having visited other rooms, I conclude that there is no point in paying, because all the rooms are the same. I liked the room, new furniture, plumbing, everything is clean and tidy. The room is spacious and bright. The air conditioner works fine. For cleaning every other day left a dollar. No claims. Reading various reviews on the site, I met reviews in which people were sincerely indignant at the lack of a brush (!!!??? ) in the toilets and duvet covers on the blankets. So, who needs brushes for the toilet and duvet covers on the blankets on vacation, they are in the rooms!
Food is perhaps the weak point of this hotel. I was in the four for the second time, in April I rested in Sol Siren, where the food was tastier and more varied. True, I did not meet starving and emaciated people in Tirana. Everything that is written in reviews about food is more or less true. Be careful with yupi juices with ice! On the penultimate day of rest, I drank a glass of such juice in a hookah glass (although I know that one should be careful with their ice! ) After three hours, I turned ugly with all the consequences. She was saved by smecta, activated charcoal and enterodesis (two bags at once). So the first aid kit I took with me came in handy this time. Of course, there is little pleasant... but the fact remains.

Now about the most important thing for which I came to this hotel. LOVERS OF SWIMMING WITH A MASK, YOU ARE DEFINITELY HERE!! ! A living reef goes along the coast with a wall with crevices, caves and grottoes! (see video) Of the rarities, there are turtles, moray eels, Napoleons, if you sail towards Sharks Bay, you can meet crocodile fish on the way. Multi-colored trifle also swirls in flocks. In the direction of Melia, more often after lunch, unpleasant strong currents were observed! Be careful! Fins are a must! Walking along the coast towards the Barons, you can also go down the path from the pontoons of those hotels and swim. I liked the Tyrant more, somehow more comfortable and without waves. In a word, snorkelers have something to do!
The animation was a pleasant surprise. I, a non-animated person, was carried away and lured! belly dancing on the beach, stretching something else... in the evening at the hookah karaoke, then a performance in the amphitheater. You can also go to Soho, Naama and Old Town. There is a bus, but we took a taxi.
About drinking water. Water is everywhere in coolers. Many people poured into small bottles. Inexpensive you can buy water in supermarkets outside the hotel. They will show you the way if you ask at the reception, and you can also find out from vacationers. In the shop, next to the hookah, where they sell oils, you can also buy water not very expensive.
In conclusion, about the rest and the hotel. The hotel deserves its stars and money paid. The national composition is the Slavic brothers from Kyiv and Minsk, the British and Italians. I will not write much about bracelets. Already tired of it. We had green bracelets, everything was enough, there was no discrimination and rudeness from the bartenders and other servants! For me, the holiday was a success. And in general, you can relax in this hotel quite well, unless you are a prince who accidentally fell out of the royal carriage. Those who are interested in more stars and the status of the hotel, Melia is nearby. Significantly more expensive. Five Stars. (a small remark, Melia and Tirana have a common pontoon, respectively, and the reef too)
PS. Maybe someone is interested. In my opinion, the hotel is little geared towards children and bad swimmers. There are no slides, many pools, sandy entrances to the sea. The hotel is mainly for those who like to snorkel.
