Hello! This is my fresh review of the Sierra Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.
It all started with the fact that we decided to give the child a full-fledged spring break and take him away from his troubled homeland for at least a week. The choice fell on Egypt for many reasons: we liked it there last time, departure / arrival directly from Kharkov, the all-inclusive system (which is important if you are flying with children who are constantly hungry) and the beautiful underwater world of the Red Sea. The hotel was chosen for a long time and carefully, thanks to our beloved Yulechka from the tour. agency Fiji!
As a result of long discussions and doubts, we settled on the Sierra Hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh and never regretted it. Tour.

the operator was TezTour - there are no questions asked, everything is ok, the carrier also did not let Kharkiv Airlines down - everything is at the highest level (as always with Mr. Yaroslavsky) - and a good Boeing, and excellent service on board, drinks - all the time, an excellent menu, for children - my own separate with funny faces and surprises (although I was not pre-ordered for children), sweets when landing - so that my ears do not pawn. Our flight was very early (or very late, it's up to you) - at 3.30 in the morning, hard, of course, but the whole day in Sharm was ours. The flight back at 18.30 is also a very convenient time. Thus, in total we got 8 days and 7 nights of rest.
Now about the hotel:
They brought us among the first, at half past eight in the morning we were already there. At the reception you are greeted with wet hand towels and a glass of cold hibiscus. A trifle, but nice. At the reception they gave some money for an early check-in and now at 9.
00 we were in the room (building 6, no. 6420), and then went for breakfast. The room upset us a little, since it was on the 1st floor, it was small (we also had to squeeze extra troubles somewhere) and a little dark. I went out into the corner of the courtyard, there is no balcony there, but one common terrace. We didn't like it. And the next day absolutely free! we were moved to room 6535, in the same building on the 2nd floor, but the room is sunny, spacious, with its own huge balcony, besides, as it turned out in the evening, it also catches free Wi-Fi from Soho. We were 200% satisfied! So I think if you do not like something in the room where you will be accommodated, do not be shy - nice, with a smile, ask for a better room. They are there.
There are not very many of ours in the hotel (which, of course, cannot but rejoice, “Tagiiiiil” is not yelled at), there are English, Germans, and Italians, especially a lot of locals with children come to the weekend. Local girls swim in the pool in scuba gear.
wetsuits and then touchingly wipe these suits with towels, and tie a pareo with fish on top!
The hotel grounds are amazing! Everything is very beautiful, well-groomed, everything is in flowers, palm trees, everywhere there is a beautiful lawn. Gardeners work day and night to maintain such beauty. For which we thank them very much! Even the sand in the ashtrays is leveled with an imprint of the word "Sierra". Lizards were running around the pool, some funny burgundy birds flew in, snails were sitting in the grass. Closeness to nature, in a word.

There are many pools: the main pool is very large and heated (water 29 degrees). For kids and adults, it's a real treat. Also within this pool there is a waterfall and a jacuzzi, a small shallow pool for children. On one side of the pool there is a smooth entry, on the other side it is immediately deep, there are stairs.
Also on the territory there is a salt water pool, a children's pool, a water polo pool, a relax pool, etc. But we were all the time in the main one. There were almost always places. There is a bar near the pool, you can approach it or swim up from the side of the pool. The bartenders are wonderful guys, very sociable and cheerful, always positive, with jokes, jokes, they call by name, always give compliments. Well done! The child was made amazing multi-component milkshakes. Ice cream is served at the bar from 3 to 5.
The hotel has tables for table tennis, billiard tables, a mini-golf area, tennis courts, a spa center. In a word, there is something to do.
Sea
A bus runs to the sea every half an hour. But walking is much more pleasant and even faster - Past Savoy is a beautiful road with stunning views of the sea. The way to the sea takes a maximum of 10 minutes. Walking is a pleasure. The beach is shared with Savoy, two pontoons.
Clean sand, lots of sun loungers, awnings with tables, there are chairs. There is also a volleyball court, a toilet, a shower, as well as taps for washing feet. The beach bar has a large selection of drinks, from 12 o'clock - various sandwiches, sandwiches + french fries. From 3 to 5 - Nestlé ice cream in waffle cones.
Separately, about the sea itself! ! ! Coral is just amazing! ! ! You can watch it and the life of its inhabitants for hours. Very beautiful, colorful corals and just an unrealistic number of different fish! Right on the beach, we spotted and photographed: stingray, octopus, moray eel, lionfish, masked aratoron, parrot fish, butterfly fish, flute fish, heron and crabs. Under the pontoon, a flock of ordinary aboudefdufs hides all the time - they are waiting for something to eat, they swim and squint at you with their eyes, Picasso's renegades, surgeon fish, etc.

There are also huge live shells, giant clams, we also saw two hedgehogs - 1 ordinary black, and the second called "slate pencil" - with bright red plump needles. Sea of ​ ​ impressions! ! !
The food is also very good. You won't leave hungry, that's for sure! There was always a choice of both fish and meat dishes, everything was very tasty cooked, there were a lot of vegetables in different types, very tasty dried fruits (giant dates were especially impressive), fruits - not in pieces, but whole - guava, oranges, tangerines, bananas. Delicate puddings, tiny cakes. Every day there are themed evenings in the restaurant - English, Italian, Asian (sushi), Turkish, etc. There was a barbecue evening. In the restaurant, senior managers (or whatever they are called) are always very friendly, benevolent, they ask if everything is ok, give compliments, joke with the child. Nobody is left unattended.
Animation Entertainment: fun, but not annoying.
There are exercises, and water aerobics, volleyball, Latin dances, yoga, etc. We went with the child to morning exercises and water aerobics. We liked.
Soho: a great place for evening walks. The whole is furnished with various sculptures and sculptural compositions. A lot of different shops, souvenir shops, cafes, etc. A very worthy singing fountain - it looks beautiful, especially when a fire breaks out parallel to the water jets. Soho has WiFi, even in the evening it worked great. We went bowling, to the skating rink, to Kulturama, to Hakuna Matata. Every evening there is live music, songs, dances, etc. on the stage. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday there are a lot of people, local residents come to smoke a hookah and admire the fountain.

Well, now the main conclusion: We really, really liked the hotel and its staff. Thank you for a wonderful holiday and an almost homely atmosphere!
Next time I won't waste time searching for a hotel, I have already found my favorite hotel in Sharm!
