Just got back from Sierra.
The hotel is now on a solid C grade! Not at all what it used to be!
We were there for 2 weeks with a 4 year old. We went hoping to celebrate my husband's birthday and wedding anniversary well, which was indicated in our voucher.
In Sharm already 6 times. And nowhere did they marinate us for such a long time with check-in, although they brought us to the hotel at 6 pm (many here complained that they didn’t want to check in until 2 pm).
To my more than polite request to settle us with a small child in a room in a quiet place and invested $ 20 in the passport, which was perfectly visible, the answer was three times: "Ok! One moment! " And every time after 30-40 minutes, with a grimace of politeness on impudent muzzles, we were offered a room in a wonderful building 5 6 or 7.
In their understanding, a quiet place is a room opposite a compressor rumbling around the clock on the roof of an extension to the dining room or to the side of this compressor. There is no soundproofing in the rooms!
There were no other free rooms in the hotel, which was approximately 50-60% full, for us. I would have found it, but with a surcharge of $ 20 PER DAY !! ! Dear, you zazhralis there! I didn't ask for Femeli's number!
In general, I did not want to spend several days on relocation, and after a night next to a terrible compressor, I had to stomp again into the 6th building, but away from the mentioned rumbler. Although we only dreamed of silence there! The rumble of the cleaners' carts and their constant screams throughout the corridor during the daytime sleep of the child were provided to us for all 2 weeks. The noise of the planes at the same time seemed a pleasant melody...
There were many Ukrainians and Arabs in the hotel.
The road to the beach - 10 minutes, did not bother anyone (sometimes they returned to the hotel by bus, it goes to the beach / from the beach once an hour).
The beach is good, the sea is warm, although jellyfish began to appear.
The reef is very weak.
Animation is the same.
Food is standard for Egypt, but everyone managed to get poisoned there during our stay.
Never before have we looked forward to returning home.
I will not recommend this hotel to anyone!
