Rested in SHORES AMPHORAS from November 9 to 20.2011, Minskers.
I will try to write objectively.
1. Arrival. We received a free Sinai stamp without any problems (read what it is on google) and did not pay $ 15 for a visa. You just need to be a little more persistent, smile at the men at the airport and speak at least a little English.
2. The hotel is huge, green, there is where to take a walk.
3. Check-in: they didn’t pay anything extra, they gave a large chocolate bar of 200 g at the reception (the Egyptians love our chocolate very much, they took it with them in sufficient quantities and gave it as gifts to the staff and sellers in the market, everyone was very happy), she wrote in English that we want a room in buildings 4.5 or 6, on the second floor, with a sea view. Which is what they got. First they went, looked, then they gave the go-ahead to carry luggage and settle.

The best buildings are 4.5 (only not with a view of the fence of the neighboring SHORES ALONA hotel) and 6. Building No. 7 is terrible, most of the rooms overlook the fence, I specially went to look.
The rooms are large, spacious, there is a free safe, the furniture is not new, but you are not going to sit in the rooms around the clock. The room was always cleaned, we allowed it to be cleaned every other day, they constantly twisted all sorts of figures from towels and strewn beds with petals. Tipping was left every other time.
4. Food is excellent. Breakfast is a little monotonous, but lunches and dinners are excellent. Just enough, every evening barbecue 2-3 types, sweets - just a song! Meat and fish were always of several kinds. Never had any digestive problems. The food itself is only in the main restaurant. For lunch, fries, sausages and salads are brought to the beach (to be honest, I didn’t really like it). We always went to lunch in the main restaurant.
5. Beach - 2 levels: upper and lower. There may be problems with sunbeds on the lower one, but we didn’t bathe - we lay down on the sand and it was even better. There is always room at the top level.
6. The sea is warm, the reef is very good on both sides, the entrance from the pontoon is 20 meters. There are many different types of fish, sizes, colors. We saw a turtle and a moray eel. The reef is no worse than Ras Mohammed or the Blue Hole.
7. Animation - excellent. Russian-speaking girls from Ukraine always called somewhere, danced, water aerobics, you never got bored. Every evening there are some contests, very funny and funny. Disco in the hotel only for children.
8. Italians are very friendly, relaxed, always smiling. But there were many Russians and Poles.
9. Take excursions in the city, do not be afraid, and bargain too. Have Tezikov hotel much more expensive.
10. We went to Naama by taxi for $4 (we took it from the hotel), we went to the old town for shopping for $3. Be sure to bargain. Really buy 2-3 times lower than the original price.
11. There is no drinking water in the rooms (this is a minus for the hotel). Bought in a supermarket around the corner - 6 liters for $ 3.

12. Take something from mosquitoes. At night, these creatures were not allowed to sleep periodically.
Bottom line: a solid 4* hotel. We did not regret that we chose him.
Dear Russian-speaking population! Behave like people, not rednecks: don’t get drunk, don’t swear, don’t shout how “everything is for *** in this fucking Egypt” and don’t think that the Egyptians owe you like land to a collective farm, for the fact that , you paid $ 1.000 for a ticket (moreover, you probably saved up half your life yourself).
Learn English, and do not wave your hands in front of the Egyptians like deaf-mutes, indignant that they do not understand Russian. It's not their fault (as a rule, they all speak good English), but you - in your lack of education.
Girls, do not sunbathe in an Arab country on a topless beach, defiantly shaking your breasts that are not the best (we had 2 such Ukrainian sluts, the whole hotel spat on them), do not defiantly hang yourself on the Arabs. So that later they would not consider all Russian-speaking girls to be prostitutes.
The most important thing - do not find fault with trifles, tune in to the positive, AND YOU WILL BE HAPPY! Remember: as you are to people, so they are to you. Smile more often, be more polite and your vacation will turn out the best way possible!
Good luck.
