I decided to write a review a year later, after the rest, so perhaps some details were forgotten. . .
We arrived at the hotel late, after dinner. Everyone who wanted was allowed into the dining room (to eat up the remnants of luxury) and then quickly, within half an hour, everyone was settled.
The room was given a large one, in the main building overlooking the pool (nothing extra). The furniture is normal, TV, a small refrigerator, air conditioning, a safe... They tidied up, if not every day, then every other day, that's for sure. Mosquitoes were present, so it is better not to open the window (especially at night), but to cool with air conditioning.
The hotel area is so-so. Other than the pools, there isn't much to see. For children, too, except for water slides, there were no other entertainments (not counting the evening animation).

The restaurant (although rather a dining room) - in the best traditions of Soviet dispensaries - is noisy, dirty, crowded. Food without frills - breakfast is the poorest, lunch and dinner are better. There was no need to starve)), but they adapted to local realities. Beer was poured on request into a glass in hand (the second one might not be poured right away - either come up again, or together).
Buses were taken to the beach 5-6 times a day (it was not always possible to sit down, but everyone left standing). Drive about 5 minutes, if on foot for half an hour (but laziness in the heat). The beach was closer, 5 minutes from the hotel. on foot, but for $ 4 (for the price, I can already confuse something, and they could have changed a long time ago). The hotel beach is small, the sunbeds are old, the bar is a booth near the pier, where they could pour some free water or some kind of sprite-chemistry. But the reef is beautiful, on both sides of the entry into the water. The lifeguard is not very intrusive, so it was possible to sail far along the coast and admire the corals and fish. This is what it is worth going to Egypt for! 90% of the beauty is underwater! ))
In the evening, the beach closed quite early - around 18.00, but this concerns almost all of Sharma - neither early in the morning, nor in the evening by the sea (and by the way, you won’t enjoy the pools either - no way... ). So, after dinner, unpretentious animation saved us - first 30 minutes for children, then about an hour for everyone else.
In general, summing up, I put 7 out of 10 - but we are not very spoiled tourists... And yes, there were many locals from Cairo and others in the hotel - noisy (they could yell near the pool from 6 in the morning), with a bunch of children, wives - they are very similar to our gypsies! So on the beach, and especially in the dining room, it added a "special flavor"...
