Pros:
- the sea!! ! Hotel in Sinai Bay, very warm in November, rarely windy. The beach is large, sandy and clean, with good entry. Before that, we rested twice in the Sunrise Arabian, where we could not swim from the shore, only a pontoon. The reef is beautiful, rich in corals, but there are fewer fish than in Arabian. We managed to see stingrays and moray eels. Sentido shares the beach with Oasis Reef. Upon arrival, we had nowhere to lie down, because people from the Oasis went to Sentido Beach - the beaches are very conditionally separated by a rope and the color of the trash cans. After contacting the manager, the issue was instantly resolved and people with "yellow towels" were asked to leave. At the same time, guests of Sentido can use the entire beach. Also in the beach bar Sentido juice from packages, not yuppies and bottled water; There is waiter service. Food on the beach only at the Oasis bar.
Because the hotel was half closed due to covid, one pool was heated and all the animation was on the beach. I consider this an advantage - the children swam in the sea. Only after lunch we went to the water park and then to the warm pool.

- Aquapark. Works two hours a day. Very decent, there are even slides with bagels. half of the slides did not work due to economy. But we had enough.
- food. Turkish chef. That says it all. There was a wide range of edible and delicious food. Seafood, fish, veal, duck; good diet table; fruits, vegetables, herbs. During the quarantine period, only one a la carte restaurant worked - a grill, where they serve a very tasty shish kebab in assortment.
In Sentido, there was the option to eat both in the common "canteen" of the Oasis, and in a restaurant with service next to the rooms. It was delicious there, although the menu does not change.
Alcohol free only local. Beer and wine are good. Pretty decent coffee.
- territory. Very big, green and beautiful. Sentido is part of the Oasis Reef Hotel, which is 22 years old, so the greenery and palm trees are huge and plentiful. The rooms and grounds of Sentido look much more modern.
There is a bus every 10 minutes to the beach. I saw people being transported in electric cars. We very often walked - 600 m through a beautiful park is nonsense.
- room fund. We had a two-room family. Small but tidy. Comfortable mattresses, pillows; Grohe plumbing. A complete set of detergents, bathrobes, slippers. Cleaning every two days. Due to quarantine, Beach towels are given at the start, you can change them at will, store and dry them in your room.
- animation. An excellent children's animator Alena - a child of 8 years old was always busy. With adults worse - water aerobics, beach volleyball, yoga and small shows in the evening. Mostly live music. There were no grandiose performances, the big theater was closed. Only one evening we managed to dance - the hotel has a good DJ. The rest is either chanson or retro.
In Sentido every couple of evenings playing the piano.
- service. Guests from Sentido are much more loyal and attentive. All requests were fulfilled quickly: fumigators, replacement of towels, cleaning the room from mosquitoes, and even turned off the unit on the roof, which buzzed loudly at night and interfered with sleep. Good service in restaurants.

- quarantine measures. There is a set of masks, wipes and gloves in the room. Towels are provided in plastic packaging. At the buffet, food is distributed by employees, all appliances are packed, they constantly wash and wipe surfaces. Pretty clean everywhere. But! There are no glass cups, glasses, huge mountains of plastic at the exit. (
Minuses
- guests. Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, post-Soviet countries and Arabs. There are no Europeans. In Sentido, the level of tourists is higher than the Oasis, but still far from the Arabian. At the general evenings and on the beach you could see very drunk and uncultured people, I did not see this in Sunrise. It's great that the hotel was half full.
- meeting with the guide. One hour of rest was stolen from us for a commercial break for the sale of tours. As a result, we left for breakfast, which was almost over, and the guide also “scold me” for this. Was sent in a mild form and immediately apologized. We will not go to meetings with guides anymore.
Summary: I am very satisfied with the choice of the hotel and we had a great rest. In quarantine, the hotel worked non-standard and very curtailed - we did not see it in all its glory. But the fact that there were few people - a huge plus! With tourists now in Egypt they are worn like with relatives. I think we will return to Sentido, especially in November. Perhaps now the situation is unusual and the hotel works unusually, but Sunrise Arabian loses Sentido for us in almost all respects, except for the public.
