We chose the hotel as more luxurious within the Regency Plaza.

They promised: a room with a sea view, a separate restaurant, improved drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), a private beach, and so on.

In fact, only the room was with a sea view and the Royal beach bar (turned out to be worse than the bar on the general beach). The hotel closed everything that is possible and impossible. There is 1 restaurant (general).

There are NO benefits or improvements compared to Regency Plaza. We overpaid ($200 for a week) for nothing. This is a COMPLETE scam.

Then, in the lobby bar, I saw how the bartender makes cocktails by pinching the neck of the bottles with his finger instead of the dispenser ...Unpleasant, honestly.

Initially, they counted on the fact that their own, separate Royal restaurant would work. Yeah, right now ...We went to the general. Surprisingly, I liked the food. Salads, side dishes, beef, chicken, fish - have always been. But the breakfasts were up. Of the 7 breakfasts, we only managed to take butter for sandwiches at one. It is taken out once. Ends immediately, no more. A trifle, but a shame.

All hot drinks, even at breakfast, must be taken at the bar, no tea, no coffee, no boiling water is freely available. Okay, it's not hard for me to ask. Whom to ask?
Several times it happened that they came to the bar, waited 3-4 minutes - no one appeared. We left without coffee. I noticed that despite the fact that the hotel is filled with literally 20 percent, there are not enough cups - that's all. The bartender smiles and spreads his arms.

How they cope with the influx of tourists if Egypt is opened for Russians in March - I can’t imagine.

Sea

It turned out much better than expected (but this is not the merit of the hotel, of course). Completely sandy bay. You can go from the shore along the sand to the depth, you can go along the pier. The sea in January is excellent, like Black Sea in August : -) The wind was every other day, absolutely did not interfere. Even my frozen wife bathed.

Swimming pool


Instead of the promised two heated ones, there was only one, it was heated normally, there were plenty of places by the pool. But we were there only once, spent the whole day by the sea.

Bottom line: there is no point in overpaying for Royal. If I had known the alignment in advance, I would have taken a tour to the usual Regency Plaza.
Then it would not be a shame that they deceived me and I would definitely give the hotel 6-7 points out of 10.
