We rested at the Iberotel Grand Sharm from 6.03. 08 to 13.03. 08. I would like to tell you about the impressions that remained after visiting this hotel. This is not our first time in Egypt. I always take the choice of a hotel very seriously, because I don’t want to spoil my vacation. I will not take time from people who want to learn about the hotel, and not read my reasoning about the methods and selection criteria. The only thing I would like to note, starting the description, is that before you decide where ..., you need to clearly know what you want to get from the rest. So.
Firstly, my husband and I love a quiet comfortable stay. If we go to the sea, then the priority for us is the beautiful sea, beautiful territory, good food and appropriate service.
At the Iberotel Grand Sharm, the service surprised us from the first minutes of our stay. We arrived at the hotel at 9 am, and, as an experienced tourist in Egypt, I was ready for the fact that we would not get to the room until 12.

But… The manager at the reception suggested that we sit down for a minute and wait. Before we had time to sit down, a servant ran up with two damp scented towels (not napkins, but towels) and offered to refresh our face and hands. Less than 5 minutes later, the manager from the reception approached and asked to fill out a questionnaire. Literally after 5-10 minutes they brought us cards for getting towels, room keys and wished us a good rest. Things, as usual, were delivered to the room by an electric car, and .... Our wonderful holiday at the Iberotel Grand Sharm has begun. There are many bad hotels, there are enough good hotels, but nuances distinguish a good hotel from a wonderful one. And these nuances are the essence.
It is also worth a lot that a person with a spray gun constantly walks along the beach and offers to refresh you with flavored water, a person who wipes your glasses goes next, and rejoices like a child that you allow him to do this, and also regularly in recreation areas (beach, pools, and there are 3 of them in the hotel, two are warm) waiters hang out, who can order drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, juice, water, beer, rum, wine, coffee, cappuccino, etc.
To the pluses, you can add excellent animation during the day (this is water aerobics in a warm pool, and belly dancing, and latin, and golf, boccia, volleyball) and in the evening (we did not go to discos, but I know that they were daily), the friendly attitude of the staff (well, if you want to find fault, then you can say that in the bars on the beach and by the pool, the bartenders and waiters took orders without much enthusiasm, they asked several times if you liked it or not, but everything was within the framework of etiquette, without insults and unnecessary remarks). There are Russian-speaking girls at the reception desk and animator - two Ani. Very friendly and responsible girls. Thank them very much. As for food ... We took "all inclusive". This means a buffet three times a day, plus free drinks (any) in the hotel bars, plus free ice cream. There were few fruits.
But, we always go at this time and nowhere have I seen a special variety of fruits in March (bananas, tangerines, oranges, dates, melons, and something else that tastes like kiwi, but looks like very small tomatoes). A lot of different pastries, grilled dishes every evening - either chicken, or fish, or meat. There was no abundance of unnecessary and tasteless dishes, but one could always eat with pleasure. We put on 2kg. Now we are going to go on a diet. Another big plus is that all rooms have a sea view. You can see the sea either from the window or from the balcony. There is a free safe in the rooms (this is very important for us, because it is inconvenient to constantly run to the reception desk). Regardless of whether we left a dollar or not, we cleaned the room well, flowers on the bed and swans from towels - every day. The bathroom has a bidet in addition to the shower. No problems with water or pressure. Yes, I forgot to mention that in this hotel they do not hang any bracelets on your hands.

You just sign bills there . . In the early days, we were worried about additions to the bill (that is, that we would be credited with those drinks and food for which you need to pay extra separately, but Anya from the reception explained that checks with the price are attached to paid bills, so no need to worry). And really there were no problems with it. Of course, there are also disadvantages in this hotel (the tulle on the windows could be washed more often or even replaced, one Russian TV channel, not too new furniture). Probably everything. But the year before last we were in Hiltone and there is also furniture not from the store and tired tulle, though 2 rus. channel. So compared to all the pros, there are very few cons. I would like to say a huge thank you to the owners of the hotel and the administration for their work and care for tourists. Yes, more about tourists, 1/3 of vacationers are residents of the CIS, 2/3 are Italians, Germans, and British. I would like to say a few more words about the tour operator AnexTour. I read a lot of negative reviews about them.
But after the trip, I decided for myself that the bad reviews are the tricks of competitors. I cannot write a single comment on the work both from our side and in Egypt. Everything is clear, organized and very friendly. We forgot in the morning (we left the hotel at 5.30 in the morning, because the plane took off at 8.20) to pick up breakfast (the hotel gives breakfast to tourists who do not have time to have breakfast at the hotel - sandwiches, sweets, juice, water). So the representative of Anex Tour himself went to the reception and brought them to the bus for us. I think that everyone in work has both failures and successes. Who does not work is not mistaken. And anyway, Anex's tickets are cheaper than those of TourTessa and Tez Tour.
