Teztur upset only the hotel guide, but more on that below.
The charter without delays and delays, we received the luggage, checked in at the Teztour counter and in a minibus we drove to the hotel in half an hour. On the way, we stopped at a couple of hotels, taking other tourists, happily noted for myself that the hotels were so-so, and I was in another. Approaching the Royal Grand Sharm, you immediately feel the class of the hotel: your own entrance, barrier, security and other class attributes. Here, some tourists wrote that they say the hotel is 4 *. I don’t know, there’s nothing to compare with, I’m in Sharm for the first time, but in Turkey I rested in the De Luxe palaces more than 10 times. So, regarding the Royal Grand Sharm, I note that you begin to truly understand the class of the hotel somewhere on the second day of your stay, when you personally feel the well-coordinated work of the team aimed at making your vacation cloudless and unforgettable. Having paid for a room overlooking the garden, for a symbolic bribe of $10, a room with a panoramic view of the sea was received at the reception. Someone might not like the distance from the sea, but we were completely satisfied! But right next to the lobby, the main restaurant and the exit from the hotel. It is very convenient to get to dinner in heels, and even at night, returning to the hotel, not far from the barrier. We were very pleased with the room. Everything works, the hair dryer blows hoo, the lamps shine, the plumbing is flawless, the bed is gorgeous, the safe is working, the air conditioner is cold. By the way, the condo does not work from the card, but autonomously. Those. you can quite safely leave the air conditioner on and go for the whole day. By the time you return, the room will cool down superbly. I only chilled when I was not in the room. She returned - turned off and opened the balcony. Upon arrival, the temperature was +40C, I ran a short distance from the airport door to the minibus, I thought Kondraty was enough. Arriving at the hotel, on the first day, I could not go out onto the balcony: it felt like entering an open-hearth furnace! But on the next the day “coldered” to + 33C during the day and + 29C at night, the water + 26C and heavenly rest began! A constant light breeze blows from the sea, the heat is not felt at all. The air is dry, clothes do not stick to the back, and even with long hair loose, there is no feeling as if you are wrapped in a blanket!
About food. I read the reviews: the food is poor. Guys, well, you are absolutely crazy! If from the whole variety of food you have not chosen something tasty for yourself, then you are only in Dubai, in Parus (Burj Al Arab), where ice cream with golden crumbs is served and Moet Shandon with golden dust is poured. And for a thousand dollars for a tour, black caviar and quail eggs will not be served anywhere. To be honest, the food was tasty and varied. For every taste. Breakfasts: cheeses, pastries, scrambled eggs, pancakes, pancakes, salads, etc. Lunches are almost like dinners, except for the grill. For dinner, there are always several types of grill, hot types are innumerable, meat, fish, vegetarian dishes, various side dishes, pasta, pizza. Who what! Well, for the Germans, sausages with french fries, where without them? As for drinks: I drank white wine in the evening, although red wine is also okay, but in the morning there is some kind of aftertaste in my mouth. Happy beer. Beer is like beer. Some complain: they say, diluted. Guys, well, they can’t dilute a barrel under pressure. This is just such a variety, low-alcohol, almost the same in Turkey. But no harm, only refreshing! Tomato juice is amazing! In glass bottles! Recommend. I haven’t tried cocktails, I can’t judge, I don’t drink any juices like UPI in principle. The tea is only Lipton black, but the coffee is good. Meals in the main restaurant take place in an air-conditioned room, where I really froze, and on an open terrace overlooking the sea. Terrace space is limited. If you want to eat there, you need to reserve a table. I chose an adequate waiter, gave him $ 1 daily, and our table was waiting for us every evening. There is a small price for pleasure in nature. Yes, and he studied our tastes instantly. He brought drinks without waiting for orders. Hygiene in the hotel is elevated to the rank of a fetish! Which is very important for Egypt. They even make ice from bottled water. They cleaned their teeth with tap water, no ups were observed, thank God! Cleanliness is perfect everywhere! Lawns are mowed and watered day and night. Generally. The territory of the hotel is a flowering garden! Cascading, multi-level layout, there is something interesting at each level. Made with love.

We also went to the a la carte restaurant La Seppia. Ordered a dish from Chef Omar in white sauce. They cook very tasty. Service out of hand badly. It is even surprising how well the service was in the main restaurant and how terrible it was in the paid one. Served by a thin, lanky waiter, I do not know either the name or the surname. They have him there for the head waiter. Wine is free, because we are All Incl. rested, by the way, guests of this concept of food in this restaurant have a 30% discount. He brought a glass of wine and left for 30 minutes. They called about the wine, brought the wine, did not replace the ashtray. He was not even interested in what we might want and in general, how we are doing. After 45 minutes, lobsters were served. Then he brought the bill in his daddy and instead of putting it down and leaving, he brazenly asked who would pay. Husband and wife were having dinner, a very respectable couple. Well, I, of course, do not miss such incidents. In the morning I met the manager of all restaurants and reported in colors about the shortcomings of service in the a la carte restaurant. And kudos to the chef! Delicious! And at our prices for lobsters, - just for nothing! Only for some reason this skinny waiter stopped greeting me. )))
For cleaning, they also left $ 1 per day. It was important for us: fresh towels and replacement of shampoo gels, and cleaning, as such, is not particularly important to us, we do not litter, we were never in the room at all. Room-boy twirled the swans, showered them with flower petals, but, contagion, twice did not report detergents. I caught him on the stairs, scolded him, didn’t leave money once and everything fell into place!
Animation in the hotel is sluggish. Well, there are reasons for that. The hotel positions itself as Relax. People purposefully go there, looking for a peaceful rest, peace and quiet. Which, in principle, would also suit me quite well... if not for such a rotten nightlife of Sharma! Choosing a hotel, I expected to sausage in the clubs of Naama Bay, and in the morning to sleep off and recover on the territory of the hotel. After the first visit to the most iconic Pacha Club, it became clear that there was no reason to advance in Naama. Pasha is a network club, French, I visited in France, Morocco and Spain. So, it's a club there. Wow what! And in Sharm. . . Laughter through tears. Yes, in the open air, but the scenery, lighting, DJ, music, etc. are just creepy. The DJ was a guest, a local celebrity. So he did not sweat, did not mix at all, recorded the program on a disk and just smoked on the sidelines all evening. And tyts-tyts-tyts for 2.5 hours (we didn’t have enough for more), when one topic ends and another begins, it was not possible to understand. Entrance to this wonderful club is $ 34, on some days it is free for girls. But I said at the entrance that if we (2 girls) were not allowed in for free, although that day there was a paid entrance for everyone, we wouldn’t go at all, of course they let us in, only the guy paid. For this $34, one alcoholic cocktail such as vodka-cola is put. Every sl. drink $18. For comparison, in Madrid, the entrance to Pasha is 15 Euros, with this money you are given 3 tokens for the included alcoholic drinks, each sl. drink 5 Euro. If ever I go to Sharm again, I will choose a party hotel. So that the hotel has its own open-air disco, and an intelligent DJ, but where to dance is not important. So, young people reading the review, if you want to go away, you should go to another hotel. For people looking for peace - you are here! Nobody and nothing will prevent you from enjoying the sun, the sea and the rich flora and fauna of the Red Sea! And they are rich! Even such a cynic as I was touched!
The reception works perfectly, any questions, requests and wishes are fulfilled right there. There is a guest relation Anna, a Russian-speaking girl. But we did not turn to her, we directly to the receptionists, if anything. Although, in principle, there was no need.

A short walk from the hotel is the Il Metrcato shopping and entertainment complex, a complex of branded stores (at prices higher than European ones), a stage platform for visiting stars, cafes, hookahs and restaurants. Incl. and the famous Fares fish restaurant, located at the very end of the shopping street. I recommend the fish plate. Very tasty and not expensive! There were 5 of us, the waiter recommended to order 3 fish plates. Do not believe it, it’s really 2 plates for 5. Portions are huge! Assorted seafood: squid, crabs, shrimp, sea bream, scallops, mussels and something else. 190 Egyptian pounds per plate. No alcohol is served, not even beer, only min. water. Were very satisfied. Alf Leila wa Leila Park (A Thousand and One Nights in translation) is also nearby. Entrance $ 5 - you can walk, take pictures, and watch a show in the amphitheater: a belly dancer, snake charmers, fakirs, folklore dances, tanura (male dance in a skirt). For $ 20 - dinner in a Moroccan restaurant and a show about the history of Egypt. Recommend. After boring animation in the hotel, it will be a great alternative to evening entertainment! Very beautiful! Like in the Sultan's palace!
We went to the Old City for souvenirs, spices, tea and coffee, fruits and tobacco for hookah. Much cheaper than anywhere else in Sharm. Sellers don’t grab hands, they don’t yell vulgarities, and in general, one feels universal respect for both themselves and tourists. Although, there were three young girls.
In general, the rest was great, except for the hotel guide Osama. They came to the info-cocktail armed with a price list of excursions printed from the Teztour website. The guide gave his own and was unpleasantly surprised: for all the small excursions, $ 5-10 was thrown over, for more expensive excursions, $ 10-30. We were interested in Petra, on the website Teztour offered it for $260, the guide had a price of $295, but he said that Petra on the ferry would be at least $420, that the price had changed since September 1 and Teztour did not have time to update the site. Dear representatives of Teztour, if you are reading my review, please take measures either to update the information on the site in a timely manner, or to more carefully select personnel that does not discredit the honor and dignity of such a respected campaign!!!
After reviewing the prices from the guide, I went to ask about the prices of competitors, since almost all representatives of Russian-speaking and other travel agencies were sitting in the lobby. The average price for Petra by ferry was from $230 to $280. Everyone is different, but the spread is small. When the guide Teztura Osama saw that I was talking in turn with representatives of other travel agencies, he yelled at the entire lobby, quoting: “Well, what are you looking for, sniffing out information? What the hell? “ No, of course I’m on vacation in a relaxed state, but I didn’t tolerate such rudeness. There was an immediate rebuff and a statement to write an official complaint to Teztur and a call to the Teztur tourist support center. Osama quieted down, but stopped saying hello forever! However! As it turned out later, he was rude not only to us, but also to other highly respected ladies with children. I personally have one question: HOW SUCH A RESPECTABLE ORGANIZATION AS TEZTUR ALLOWS THE EMPLOYMENT OF SUCH STAFF?? ? Even indecent! In short, a tour to Jordan was bought from competitors on a ferry for $260. When you see this beauty, you forget about all the vicissitudes! But for 420 on the ferry, well, we wouldn’t go in life! By the way, this Osama had incidents with other tourists, who, unlike us, did not shelve it, but immediately called Teztour with complaints. They replaced Osama with a young boy Said, a very smart and nice worker! Thanks Teztur for the promptness! I recommend that you choose your staff more carefully in the future, especially for 5* hotels!

As for the sea. It is wonderful! The entrance is only on the pontoon, you immediately dive deeper, under your feet about 30 meters. The water is clean, blue-blue, salty-salty and very pleasant. There are just so many fish! The corals are gorgeous! Who swims badly - give circles. A lifeguard is on duty at all times. There is no separate entrance for children. Please note for vacationers with children. By the way, the hotel is not designed for children, there are no slides, a weak kids club, evening children's animation is lame. In a word - a relaxing hotel for adults!
Summary: the hotel is excellent, just everyone has their own idea of ​ ​ ​ ​ a perfect vacation. And if you carefully read the reviews, you can easily form an opinion: this is your hotel or not.
My review is very objective, although not without subjective perception. Liked it very much! But in sl. once I go to a noisier youth hotel! Highly recommended for peace seekers! You will be satisfied!
