We rested, as always, the three of us (husband, me and a 7-year-old son) in late September - early October 2009. Paid for "all inclusive" 1935 c. u. e. (by special offer).
Location (excellent)
From the airport we were taken quickly. 20 minutes and we are there. There are a small number of shops within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Their prices are lower than those in the shop at the hotel. Old Bay is a 40 minute walk away. True, we did not check. There is a small variety of shops in the neighboring hotel. Also close to Albatros Aquapark. For those who are interested, I think you can even go on foot.
Territory (excellent)
The territory is gorgeous! And for Egypt - just 5 +++++. It is not easy to find such a variety of plants in the desert. It can be seen that the owner or responsible for landscaping the territory is well versed in this matter. Everything is well thought out and beautiful. The feeling that the hotel is surrounded by greenery. Several waterfalls, fountains, streams, cozy corners with benches.
There is a main building, there are 2-3 storey buildings, in the courtyards of which there are small pools. Of course, there is a minus of a large territory - there are buildings remote from everything (the main pool, restaurant, beach). And, as you can guess, this is where the Russians and Ukrainians are settled. But with a good tip, the number will be changed for you.
Room (excellent)
Initially, we got a room "for Russians. " It seems to be nothing, but somehow small, uncomfortable. The balcony overlooked the fence and disco of the neighboring hotel. Moreover, this very balcony was very narrow. There were two chairs on it and it was already very difficult to pass, even with my not wide figure. As I wrote above, the room was located in a building that is far from the main places of entertainment. After paying extra, the room was changed. At what they gave a choice - on the first floor overlooking the sea or on the second floor overlooking the pool and partly the sea.
To be honest, at least for the 1st floor the surcharge was more, it seemed to me not comfortable there. We chose the second option. The room is not much larger, but more comfortable, the bathroom is bigger, but the balcony is very different - large, with a beautiful view.
Service (excellent)
On the first day, the impression of the hotel service was below 0. The Russian-language "guest relation" is neither fish nor meat. The crib was brought to us already at 10 pm (when checking into the room at 7), then around 11 we were helpfully called back to ask if the crib had been brought. We received only two cards for towels. For two days the issue could not be resolved. But after contacting personally at the reception, I received the third towel. The Arabs turned out to be much faster, smarter, more pleasant than the Russian "assistant". Therefore, my advice is: if you know English at least somehow clumsily, resolve all issues through English-speaking staff.
But then everything was like clockwork. The staff is always smiling, joking, always friendly.
Bars and restaurants never had any problems. The child is always a lot of attention, jokes, flirting. Before entering the restaurant during dinner, each girl is given a small flower. A trifle, but nice.
Yes, they communicate mostly in English, but they also understand Russian. In the room, and without a tip, and with a tip, they cleaned perfectly. We were always greeted by flower petals beautifully laid out on the bed.

The beach is very long, half is located, as it were, on a rock, and the second - sunbeds almost by the sea. There are always free places, during the week of stay there was never a situation that we did not find 3 free sunbeds nearby. But there is only one pontoon and it is located at one end of the beach. That is, if you are located on the beach in the pool area, then you will have to walk to the pontoon, and not so close. But, despite this, there is enough pontoon for everyone. And if “smart” people didn’t sunbathe on it, didn’t sit right on the ladder to wet their legs, there would be no problems at all. And sometimes you just want to push someone lightly into the water
The reef is beautiful, especially if you sail a little further from the pontoon in either direction. Of the unusual fish, we saw a scorpion fish and a stingray. According to the animators, a moray eel lives near the pontoon, but we did not see it. The Red Sea will brighten up all the shortcomings of any hotel. It's love at first sight and forever!
I put a minus only because the pontoon is a little unsuccessfully located. Perhaps it should be placed in the middle or add another one.
Swimming pool (excellent)
The main pool with a bar, large, as if divided by a bridge - on one half from the side of the bar it is shallow, but it is worth swimming under the bridge, and there the depth is already about 2 meters. In addition there are 2 or 3 small pools. Always clean. You can swim until you freeze - I have never seen anyone asked to leave the pool due to darkness (unlike Turkey and other hotels in Egypt).
Animation, entertainment (excellent)
Girls-animators are very active, but at the same time, unobtrusive. We always played both volleyball and boc (I can be wrong in the name). Very cheerful, always friendly, communicate very willingly, both with Russians and with foreigners.
Children (excellent)
