We rested together with my husband, I just wanted a beach holiday, swimming, sunbathing.

Tour operator JoinUp. We arrived at 17:45 local time. We completed the formalities at the airport quite quickly, boarded the buses. At the airport (immediately before leaving) I bought a Vodafone card (a copy of the passport is made on the spot), the seller immediately set up a connection on the spot. The Internet struck after 2 hours (it was promised in 20 minutes: )). There is Wi-Fi at the reception, but there was no need, Vodafone did a great job, I called via Viber. By the way, about Skype - it does not work in Egypt (if a local operator or Wi-Fi), so use alternative dialers.

In the Reef oasis we were settled by a small group of tourists from our flight. One couple was settled immediately, the rest were offered to go for dinner, and check-in after. After 30-40 minutes we returned to the reception and were taken to the room. The room was on the 1st floor near the animation amphitheater, garden view.
By the way, the animation ended at 23.00 and did not bother us at all.

Room and cleaning. Apparently, when preparing the room, they were in a hurry, it turned out that the bed was made up somehow and the duvet cover was torn, with stains. We went to the reception and asked to change the linen. In general, they did it quickly. Also there were only 2 bath towels in the room, there were no small face/hand towels. They were delivered within a day. In general, we can say that the organization of cleaning is lame, but there are no complaints about the cleaning itself, the boy cleaned well. There are no clear cleaning hours, one day they can clean in the morning, the next in the afternoon, on the third in the evening. Towels for the beach - also in the room, upon check-in. As stated - in a special bag. In fact, we didn’t have a bag, we left a request at the reception for this bag to be brought to us, but it was never delivered. Changing beach towels is also a quest; ). According to the reception, towels are delivered to the rooms at 9 am.
In fact, we probably changed these towels 3 times a week, because we went to the beach at 7 in the morning, sometimes when we saw a cleaner, he immediately took the used ones and gave new ones. Sometimes he did not immediately have something to replace the towels with. For some guests of the 1st floor, towels were collected from the balconies on the 1st floor at night or early in the morning : ) while they were sleeping, but brought in during the day. Until they found out what was happening, they thought that the towels had been stolen. In my opinion, such a system for issuing beach towels is not very convenient. But not critical, of course. When choosing a hotel, I paid attention to this feature, but I thought that the replacement was organized somehow differently.

Everything in the room worked. There are no bathrobes and slippers (they are not stated in the description of the room, but they would not hurt). There is a kettle, cups, tea set (tea, Nescafe coffee bags, sugar) glasses. Water is brought regularly - large bottles. The kettle was not turned on all the time. Iron - on request, bring along with an ironing board.
The air conditioner was turned on only when we were away. At night, the air conditioner was turned off, because in the evening the room cooled down enough and it was fresh all night with the window closed. Whether this is the merit of the 1st floor, or something else played a role, it is not clear, because the last time we rested in Egypt at about the same time and could not sleep without air conditioning, it was hot.

Meals - ate in the main restaurant, varied food. I'll mark what I liked. For breakfast, omelettes are regular and with vegetables, pancakes, Belgian waffles with various sauces, there are cereals, yogurt. Natural coffee is brought by waiters in teapots. There are fresh mango, orange for $ 1 in glasses or bottles (not included in the all inclusive). For lunch they took soups (once there was even something like borscht : )), various stews from asparagus, zucchini, grilled vegetables (eggplants, carrots, etc. ), pasta, rice. Salads and chopped vegetables did not inspire me, but they are (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, cabbage).
In the bars by the pools and on the beach at lunchtime there is pizza, hamburgers, meat in pita bread, french fries, vegetables. For dinner every day there was a barbecue (meat or fish in turn). There is a lot of meat and fish, chicken, duck, beef, crabs (from what I tried, but I didn’t try everything). The service in the restaurant is good, there were always places, they were cleaned promptly, the waiters were great!

Beach and sea. The beach is very large, there were always free sunbeds. In the reviews I read that the buoy was immediately close to the pontoon and the lifeguard was whistling. But in fact, there are many places for swimming - we swam along the beach, along the coral, and this is quite a long distance. It makes no sense to swim far away, because it is immediately very deep (about 10 m) and the water is noticeably colder than closer to the coral. Well, the most interesting thing is the coral. Near the pontoon people really accumulated at times. By the way, the lifeguard is sociable and not angry : )
The coral reef is beautiful with many different colored corals of all shapes and sizes. Descent to the beach through the elevators. Whoever stops this moment, I will write that it is very convenient, you don’t need to wait for the elevator, there is no pandemonium near the elevators. Almost always in the elevator rode alone. By the way, there is air conditioning in the elevators! There is a diving school from the hotel on the beach, the guys walk naturally, offer diving and sea excursions. What I liked is that they conduct free trial dives every day. Relevant for those who have never dived with scuba gear and want to first try how it is. Dive literally for a minute, a meter and a half with an instructor. But at least you can evaluate your strength, try to breathe through scuba gear. I also saw something like learning to swim with a mask - but I think this is improvisation. In general, the guys from the school are very sociable and responsive (and not intrusive).
On the beach there is a "banana", jet skis and a boat. You can organize a parachute (they are taken on a boat a little to the side).

Territory. The territory is beautiful, the hotel is green, there are many different interesting areas. One cactus alone is worth something! On the territory there is a street with shops (souvenirs, masks, flippers, a pharmacy, photos, fruits and sweets, etc. ). We bought very tasty mangoes in a souvenir shop : ). You can order there almost the entire range of goods that is in Egypt.

In the evening, live music (guitar or violin) is played near the main restaurant or near the bars at the reception.

Of the excursions, we went to meet the dawn on ATVs in the desert (we took it from JoinUP, departure around 4 am, back at the beginning of the 8th). The trip is not long, but interesting. Now is just the season of migration of storks that fly south. Unexpectedly, we met huge flocks of storks in the desert (circling in the sky and “grazing” on the ground), they have a stop there and rest before the next flight.
The essence of the tour is a trip to the desert, a stop to meet the dawn (you can take a photo, video, in general it is very beautiful to watch the sun rise). Further moving to the Bedouins, tea, photo session, departure back. What is important - at such a time it is not hot and then the whole day is free!
We went on a sightseeing tour from JoinUP with a guide Natasha. The program is standard, a couple of mosques, an overview of the city, shops. I really liked how Natasha led the tour, there was a lot of interesting information about the history of Sharm el-Sheikh, the development of tourism.

Departure. We handed over the cards from the room at 12, before that we still had time to go to the beach in the morning, our bus to the airport was about 15 hours. During this time, we went to lunch, drank coffee, said goodbye to new acquaintances. The bracelets were not cut off. When the bus was leaving, the hotel staff came out to see us off and waved to us in the end, a very nice tradition : ).

We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel!
