This is my second time in this hotel: the first - January 2019, the second - January 2021.
I try to go to the sea every year, but in 2020 it didn’t work out. I took the opportunity with pleasure and flew to Sharm El Sheikh in January. I rested with my husband from 01/05/2021 to 01/15/2021. I chose a good hotel in terms of price-quality ratio and so that there was no wind. I hesitated between "Iberotel Palace 5 *" and "Reef Oasis Beach Resort 5 *". The choice fell on "Reef Oasis Beach Resort 5 *", because I have already been there and they have their own coral reef.
The hotel is located on the first line in the windless bay of Ras Umm El Sid in the Hadaba district. During the stay (10 days) there was no wind, and only on the day of departure they hung out a red flag. The sea is gorgeous, the weather was warm, of course it’s cool in the evening, do not forget that there is a sharp temperature drop in winter.

The test for COVID 19 was done at home so that there were no problems upon arrival. The health card was also printed out and filled out at home.
Hotel.
We arrived at the hotel at 9.00, immediately put on bracelets and sent for breakfast. We had a room - Preferred Room. Didn't check in immediately, after 12:00. They said that our room was not prepared, but they could check into the best room with an additional charge of $ 19 per night. We refused. We left after dinner, the number was not extended, we handed it in before 12.00, no one cut off the bracelets for anyone, we had lunch.
The hotel area is very large, green, well-groomed with a wide variety of flora (many varieties of palm trees, cacti and flowers). Walking around the area is a pleasure.
A huge number of pools, there are also children's, but only one is heated, the water park, also with cold water. There are three outdoor jacuzzis.
There is a tennis court and a football field, in the morning you can play for free.
On the beach, men constantly played volleyball, but be careful. Playing on the sand is not very comfortable and many were injured.
There is a SPA center, a photo center where you can order a photo session, a pharmacy, shops (souvenirs, cigarettes, suitcases, perfumes, hookahs).
Rooms. They have newer buildings, but for some reason they settle in older ones. We had a room overlooking the garden and partially the sea, on the second floor. The furniture is old, the beds are comfortable, safe, air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle.
We agreed with cleaning once every two days, but I probably liked it very much, they were not lazy, they cleaned every day, changed towels, brought bottled water and made various bizarre figures on the bed.
The only thing was that the toilet drain did not work well and they did nothing about it, although they contacted the reception. There are mosquitoes.
The Internet is weak, at the reception and lobby bar. There were no days at all. Wi-Fi is not available in the rooms or on the beach. We bought a SIM card at the hotel, in the Vodafon store, and connected it there. Everything worked great.

Compared to the previous year, the animation is very weak.
Nutrition.
Now only the main restaurant was working, two a la carte: Indian and grill. Were everywhere: grill - liked it, Indian - normal, you can go once. The food is good and varied. There were seafood, fish, meat, fruits, sweets, ice cream. The coffee is good, my husband did not like the alcohol, he said that even the beer was so-so. Twice they took wine for money - excellent.
Beach.
The sea is gorgeous, the water is clean, in the morning, when there is no one, it is warmer.
The beach is clean, there are enough sunbeds, there is a shower, toilet, changing cabins, a bar where you can have a bite to eat.
There is a diving center on the beach: you can order a dive with a video, snorkeling with lights and a video, rent wetsuits.
Entry into the sea: gentle, sandy and pontoon.
Most of all, I enjoyed the underwater world: here I saw a variety of stingrays, moray eels, barracuda, lionfish, a unicorn and many colorful small fish.
Unfortunately the reef is not as colorful as last time. Here the human factor played a cruel joke: I myself saw how people just walk on the corals and do not respond to the whistle of the attendants, how they feed the fish, causing damage to this environment. Although there are enough fish and they come here from other hotels on excursions.
Nearby, within walking distance, a lot of attractions: Farsha cafe, Old Town, mosques. Also within walking distance of the market, shopping centers, shops, souvenirs.
In general, the hotel left a positive impression, the price-quality ratio is excellent, I recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in the winter in Sharm El Sheikh.
