I want to share my impressions about the hotel. My husband and friends rested in Aloha from 21.06. 09-05.07. 09.14 days. We had a great rest, first of all, because we were in a good mood. The hotel was not chosen by chance. The year before last, we had a rest in a neighboring hotel from the same chain Shores Amphoras (former Amphoras Holliday) we really liked it. This time we decided not to spend too much time looking for a hotel and chose Aloha, as we already knew that we were provided with a beautiful reef and a good beach.
Now about the hotel in order:
The territory is beautiful, well-groomed, blooming as much as possible in the Egyptian heat. The hotel is compact to all main destinations such as room, beach, restaurant walk through the area min. 3-4.
The room we had was standard, the furniture was normal, everything was in order.
Check-in - we arrived at 9 pm and settled at 9.30. The superior room was not booked in advance, so we knew that we would negotiate on the spot in order to get a room with a good view. For 50 dollars. And after 10 minutes of negotiations with the enterprising guy Mohammed the receptionist, we got room 4214 with excellent sea views and a spacious terrace on the first floor. Our friends were placed next to us.
Food - we deliberately chose the four, for this reason we did not flatter ourselves at the expense of abundance and an incredible selection of dishes. But nevertheless, the food did not upset. For breakfast, everything you can eat in the morning is eggs, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, yoghurts not in jars, fruit salad, pancakes, feta, vegetables and what we especially liked were hot fresh croissants, which we sprinkled with hot chocolate. Overeat! Lunch soup, 2 types of meat, fish, squid, three types of side dishes, vegetables, fruits, as the hotel is oriented to Italians 2.3 types of pasta with different fillings. Pastries. Dinner fish, meat, side dishes, salads, vegetables they grilled either meat or shrimp, crabs, fish. There was a huge baked turkey a couple of times. Ice cream in the evening a couple of times a week. The best choice for dinner was on Tuesdays (Egyptian cuisine) and Italian Fridays. From 11-12.30 am on the beach pizza and French fries. At 17.00 afternoon pancakes with chocolate and tea / coffee by the pool. You will not stay hungry. I know what I am writing about. There were 2 adult men with us and they did not complain that they did not eat up.
The only serious drawback of the food is the lack of tea and coffee in the main restaurant for lunch and dinner. You can’t drink cakes except for lemonade, as you know.
The beach is excellent. There were always enough places and you didn’t have to get up early to find and take a sunbed. And this despite the fact that the beach is used by vacationers from the Shores Golden hotel from the same network, but in the second line. The guys on the beach worked quickly. As soon as you approach the selected sunbed, they carry a mattress.
Animation - my husband and I are completely indifferent to it, but according to my observations, it was at a good level. People were engaged in (yoga, dancing, aqua aerobics). We even visited one animation evening in the amphitheater. traditional dance with skirts.
The staff is quite well-mannered. Unlike Turkey, they do not ask for tips, and in a restaurant, for example, they are even forbidden to take them. There were no problems with anyone. If something broke, they immediately repaired it. But I think they treated us well, first of all, because we didn’t get drunk like pigs and weren’t rude.
There are activities for kids too. There is a children's pool and animation, but for very young children up to 2 years old there are few amenities, although there is a special chair in the restaurant and a crib is provided in the room. But the sea is deep for children.
On the territory there is a hookah and natural coffee is brewed. Hookah was taken a couple of times, good.
We are in Egypt for the 4th time. In Sharm 3, we already know where it is better to go for a walk in the evening and where to sit. The main advantage for us was the location of the hotel. To the New and Old city to go min. 15 (15 pounds). Before "1000 and 1 nights" and "El Mercato" can be reached in 7-10 minutes on foot, or by taxi 5 minutes (5-10 pounds).
Another vivid impression that I want to share is a trip to the dolphinarium. The show lasts an hour, the dolphins dance, dance and sing. Altogether super! Belets for the show bought in
New city for 11 USD/person. Without a transfer, we got there by taxi for 10 pounds.
In summary, I want to say that the rest was a success! Mainly because we don’t have time to go on vacation and look for minuses, tinkering with what might be wrong in the hotel. We rested, swam, tanned and we liked the hotel, although we were in fives and not only in Egypt. We did not have a large amount of money and knew what we would get by choosing a class 4 hotel.
