To begin with, we bought tickets in February 2020 and, due to quarantine, we didn’t fly, but postponed it to September for my husband’s birthday.
We were greeted by smiling and not impudent administrators. We arrived at the hotel at 8.00, filled out the forms and went to breakfast. They settled us immediately after breakfast (it worked that I was pregnant, I said that I was tired) in the "family" room, although we booked the "standard".
The room was large, all accessories were present (including a tea set). They cleaned every day, but the bed and towels were not changed, but simply put together. On the second day, I only interrogated to bring the third towel. The room had everything for two. Toiletries (gel, shampoo, soap, cap) were not brought even once during the entire stay. The room was located at the top during the day it is very hot, it is hard to go for lunch. Who will be with small children ask to settle on below.
Large, well-groomed, the territory is located in height. Swimming in the sea and in the pools only until 17.30.
The food is disgusting (we are resting for the sixth time in Egypt, there is something to compare with), mostly eggs and chicken (boiled chicken, stewed with vegetables, grilled chicken every evening). The fish was, as always, pangasius, they don’t know how to cook, like pieces of fish oil, there is no seafood. There are few fruits, mostly dates and bananas in some kind of syrup, once they gave figs. Tea - to choose from, there is a coffee machine. Separately, I note ice cream - they don’t spare it here, but it’s tasteless, in the restaurant people even got into salad bowls. The restaurant is not very big, but there are tables on the open terrace, there are two cats running around and you need to watch so that they don’t mess around in your plates.
I would also like to note that there are a lot of Egyptians or Arabs in the hotel, the attitude towards them is completely different than towards us. This moment is also not very good. When my husband had a birthday, I went to the reception and asked about congratulations for dinner (as in all hotels it is customary with a cake and music), I was told to come to dinner at 19.30, everything will be fine. There was silence at dinner, I went to the reception again in bewilderment and they told me that something had been mixed up and the cake was taken to the room. But there was nothing in the room either. A trifle, but annoying.
There is no animation, maybe there were some entertainments at the Beach Hotel, but here in the evening there is children's music and that's it, there was nothing for the whole holiday.
