Upon arrival (it was a very late flight) we were seated immediately. She didn’t offer any money, she didn’t ask for a room with a sea view, she just said “thank you” after receiving the key card.
The room was in the right wing of the main building overlooking the bay and the pool.
Great hotel, very thoughtful, huge pool, which occupies almost the entire territory to the beach. Now it is called SIVA SHARM RESORT & SPA
There is a spa in the hotel - they do massage and peeling with coconut with camel milk, massage with hot oil. There is a gym that you can work out. There is billiards, badminton. There is a nail salon.
Many shops, prices are high, but you can bargain.
The beach is also good, you could always find free sunbeds.
There are a lot of Russians - there are also those who are "tagil" and boors. Some strained because of the rudeness of individuals.
But most of all, parents are annoying, dragging small children with them and absolutely not able to take their child so that it does not scream at the whole beach / restaurant / lobby. If you make a remark, then these individuals will answer in the style of "there are no children themselves" and "this is a child", or even completely obscene. I want to say right away that I have children, and I believe that children should be pleasant to others and, at a minimum, understand that their op is unacceptable. In addition, there were a lot of children in the hotel, whose parents were engaged with them, watched them, and these children never yelled and did not interfere with anyone.
So - if you gave birth to children, but do not know how to teach them how to behave, then please leave them at home. It is impossible to listen to the hysterical screams of a child for 4 hours in a row, whose parent drinks beer in a bar and, without lifting his ass from his chair, shouts “enough” to him across the terrace. It is unrealistic to have a normal dinner if a child runs around and screams hysterically for 40 minutes, while his parents are talking to each other and do not pay any attention to the child. I would like to address just such unfortunate parents: people come to the hotel to relax, they, like you, paid money and they don’t like to listen to your child screaming, which you took with you on vacation, apparently as luggage, since you are not going to deal with a child, he yells incessantly, it does not bother you, since this is your child to whom you are used to, others definitely do not like it. And never like it.
Okay, let's talk about the hotel.
The food is quite varied, everything is delicious, there is a lot of everything, if something is over, they will immediately bring more. If you don't like to eat at the restaurant, you can eat at the pool bar, there are daily french fries hamburgers and hot dogs. All food is very fresh and delicious. In bars, they remember what you drink and if you sit, then the glass is filled without reminders. In a restaurant, waiters serve drinks even if they are not tipped.
The staff is very friendly and very professional.
Problems are solved quickly. Just smile more often and be polite.
Towels are changed on demand - left on the floor, everything changed, linen as well. The maid left 1 dollar every day. Twisted hearts, sprinkled beds with flower petals.
The hotel is very clean. Everywhere, in the room, in bars, on the beach, in the pool. Everything is constantly washed, cleaned, cleaned, the sand is leveled, etc.
I didn’t swim in the pool - I came to look at the reef and the underwater world.
The sea - there is no sandy entrance. That is, not at all. Entrance to the sea from two plastic pontoons. There is a small paddling pool for kids, about 50-70 cm deep, entrance via stairs from the beginning of one of the pontoons.
The reef is wonderful, very beautiful, lots of fish, stingrays, turtles, Napoleon, moray eels. Be sure to buy a mask - you will not regret it. A rare sight.
In no case do not buy excursions from hotel guides. Soho is very close - to the left at the exit and 10 minutes on foot, there you can buy any excursions at a low price. On the beach, you can also buy almost any excursion cheaper than from guides. In general, you can not go to meetings with guides, do not fill out their questionnaires and do not talk with them. Insurance is valid throughout Egypt, no matter how you are convinced otherwise.
Soho has great entertainment, I recommend smoking shisha (only $ 5), skating, going to an ice bar. Shopping is not too interesting, prices are fixed almost everywhere. Go to the Old Market for only $ 5 by minibus from the hotel, there is really oriental bargaining and interesting shopping.
I liked the rest very much. If so, ask questions.
