The first time we stayed at Uni Sharma in October 2007, the second time in July 2008. I can tell anyone who is looking for advice that this is a wonderful hotel, with good, friendly staff. The rooms have a TV with many channels, including Russian 1st, 2nd, RU-TV (although I had no time to watch it). Air conditioning, refrigerator, telephone, shower. The room has two beds and a sofa. Balcony and nice view. Linen and towels were changed every day, floors were washed. They also decorated the beds with flower petals for free and made various birds and animals out of linen. The hotel has two swimming pools, one for children, sunbeds and umbrellas. You can get a massage. There are several inexpensive shops, a night bar, even a hairdresser. Diverse food buffet. If something is missing, but you want, you can ask and they will bring it to you from the kitchen. The staff is correct (they value the workplace), they may be asked to take a picture, this is their happiness. Lots of entertainment near the hotel. Complex "Thousand and One Nights", crocodile show, Italian quarter, Bedouin cafes. Shops, shops, exchange offices, cheap tour agencies. I advise you to purchase all excursions in street excursion agencies. Almost two times cheaper than in a hotel with a guide. So a trip to Cairo costs $40, and the guide has $60-70. And they take everyone together, on the same bus. I liked this trip, even security was with us. I advise you to visit the Super Safari Tour, which includes several excursions at once (St. Catherine's Monastery, a colored canyon, tea drinking at the Bedouins, a visit to the city of Dahab). Abu Galum is also an interesting and exciting excursion. The hotel had Marhaba Beach. With a sandy bottom, lots of sun loungers under an umbrella. Where you can get a massage, tattoo, African braids, ride a banana, a pillow, a boat with a transparent bottom. . . but the fish and corals need to be looked elsewhere. In Sharm there are absolutely free places for this, the locals know them. Many merchants in the shops are very annoying, but you can just chat with them, talk for example about their culture, drink tea and leave politely. In general, I like Uni Sharm and the city in general. This is a charge of positive energy for a long time, at least for three months. And then again pulls to familiar places. Believe it or not.
