As for me, it is impossible to evaluate hotels in an eastern country by European standards. Rummaged all in the internet on the eve of departure. Because it's rare to get a break.
They took off together. First time in Egypt. Rest 5 days. So I didn't want to spoil it. From the information on the Internet - they realized that they did not understand anything. But okay. . .
There is no sandy beach. But there are 4 pantones, although I would call it piers. Ships and boats do not moor there - but the structures are architecturally very strong, with metal ladders. There are a number of sun loungers and umbrellas on the edges of these piers. We did not suffer from the stupid habit of "filling" ourselves with a place - as they came, they took snorkels, fins, masks and forward to the sea...

We met Russians who came from another hotel and found fault with our corals. Why didn’t they swim, but as soon as they received answers to their own questions, they began “but we have it better, and we have so many corals”.
They lived in a villa. Bought a standard. But... at the reception, without any additional payment, we were settled in a villa. For a long time the manager and my beloved explained to me that it was "free", it came to me in 15 minutes. This is the first line. That is, he left the villa and welcome to the "beach". "Beach" - these are niches with sun loungers, among them there are a couple of cafe restaurants. At the entrance to the "beach" towels are issued. Towels and mattresses were ok, sun loungers too. In the niches you can get lost and feel solitude. There probably wasn't time.
We were taken to our room in an electric car. And they took things from us to them. Someone complains that they did not ride. I think if you feel like going for a ride - just bother to say so. The staff greets, after all, they are drilled there.
The villa is wonderful. There are some nuances - the furniture is shabby and all that... but if you look closely. Look very closely. Huge mirrors, a bed. . . The bed is beautiful. Comfortable, soft and pleasant. Cleaning was every day and we left a dollar, at least a few dollars - but the quality was always good. A mountain of towels - and thank God, no one was spinning swans. The bathroom is shared. Bathroom, shower, all sorts of little things. We had 2 bedrooms. Since we came as a couple - we didn't even use the second bedroom - not even once.
On the ground floor there is a common room, a conference room, a kitchen with all the bells and whistles, a lounge. We just wandered around sometimes. Ehhh we would be there for 2 weeks at least. The villa has 5 rooms. We have never crossed paths with other residents. Near the villa there is a swimming pool. Small, it's tiled - if anyone cares. It also did not have time to swim. They didn’t even have time to lie down next to it on sun loungers, they sat down once before leaving.

Kitchen - manefiq)... something). We trampled on everyone for evil. There were few Russians and Ukrainians. But who was - caring about their figures, my beloved allowed me to hit all the hard - ehhhhh the cooks loved us, because we appreciated their products. Beloved does not eat sweets. But here he could not resist. Water and beer were basically bought only on the territory of the hotel - the bill later turned out to be 100 bucks. But we also bought film in the store, chewing gum. And my beloved remembered what we took from the bar. Because we didn't count it. We had lunch, breakfast and dinner. If it were "all inclusive" - ​ ​ maybe they wouldn't spend 100 bucks on water, but... Since we arrived at 10 am, and check-in was at 2 pm, we were settled immediately. We didn't waste half a day. We were worried, however, when we went to dinner - we thought - they would hook bracelets on us or something. But they didn’t cling to anything, the staff and security work perfectly - if they don’t watch you, then they have a day to give it to you. The first visit to all institutions you are given a head start of 80 pounds, that is, hryvnia. Then you sign checks with your room number - they didn’t deceive us with the bills, we reminded us what to enter.
What else? Buy snorkels and fins, as well as masks, better in your country. Since we spent about 400-500 bucks for two, but it's worth it - the tubes are just a class of a party. I have never swam with a snorkel - I thought that I would not, but from the first breath - it's like I always swam with it. Never once did water get in. Although the last day the waves were very strong and large. Fins are also needed. I personally dived with my beloved at 6-7 meters. And it turns out the experience of 5 days. The corals are amazing. Do not be afraid. Do not climb on the corals, do not touch anything with your hands and nothing threatens you. And there are a lot of fish there. Also, please don't quarrel. And sometimes you just want to give a bullshit to someone who threw a plastic cup or bag into the sea. It doesn't deserve it.
We went to the Old City. For people like us, this is correctly called OLD MARKET. We needed to "a la safari" Arafatki. In the shop in the hotel - they cost 30. We bought 2 pieces for 90). Yes, yes . . we do not know how to bargain. And they are so annoying, it's scary. Then, however, they came across an Arab whose wife is Ukrainian. He did not bargain and did not break prices - they bought all sorts of junk.
Please, come to dinner in evening clothes, at least in something more decent. Lots of old people from Europe. Shoes for the evening - sandals, not flip flops. If you come to a European restaurant in the evening not in proper clothes, they will simply not let you in. And Egypt lives at the expense of tourists and for them 1 dollar is already money. So do not show your lack of culture just because you will not be put in your place.
As for clothes - you can walk naked in the room. On the beach and around the territory in a swimsuit. But Russian men start attacking waiters in restaurants if they react to their bare-assed lovers rummaging through their purses while standing doggy style. Sorry : ) but I myself wanted to somehow react to this : )

Egypt is a Muslim country with its own customs and culture. A service must be a service. But in Ukraine in Kyiv and in Russia in Moscow, the service is often much more boorish and low, so it surprises me how "our money people react sharply" to the service and quality in Egypt. Moreover, with their money in Russia and Ukraine, they don’t “start” like that and “keep quiet”.

Excursion "a la safari on motorbikes" - bullshit : )... Either go from the tour operator and negotiate with the Arabs about a normal trip, or better go swimming. And then no drive. Although I want to visit the "real" desert . . but that's another story.
