The correctness of the choice of the Island Garden Resort4 * hotel was confirmed in practice by 100%!! ! The holiday turned out to be bomb in almost everything!
I had the practice of resting in Vekeyshine 4 * with the right to use Beach 5 * - these are Dreams hotels in Sharm. Island Garden Resort4* and Island View Resort5* did not disappoint either).
The check-in took place after dinner (we were on the road from 05-00 in the morning), as we wanted. Suitcases were waiting for us, and we enjoyed dinner - the kitchen is good, the bartender is smart! Room №348 - 2nd floor, pool view. All the minor flaws that I noticed were corrected immediately (towel, hangers, water added on request).
Let's go see Soho and Island View Resort5 * - a lot of lights, a singing fountain, all sorts of figures, cafes, restaurants, shops - the prices are much higher than in Naama Bay.
Island View Resort 5 * is also full of lights. A 5* restaurant is more pretentious than a 4* restaurant, but the food is the same.
We went to Ali's souvenir shop, I recommend it - a very interesting person, speaks excellent Russian and will help with advice in resolving any issue!
Morning. We slept well, hot-cold water at any time of the day. Breakfast is great - yoghurts, breakfast cereals, eggs, milk porridge, cheeses with various additives, various buns, jams.
Swimwear, on the beach - you can walk or take a bus. It’s better on foot (to burn calories) - we go beyond the barrier, to the right and straight, we don’t turn anywhere, the road leads directly to the sea - first the roadway, and then between Concorde and our View5 *.
Beach party, relax will not work. Two pontoons, no entry from the shore - corals! Mask on the face and "fish dances" to watch.
Animators are trying, active holidaymakers will be happy).
Lunch only at Fatima - special thanks to all the staff of this panoramic restaurant on the seashore - a request for you, Karina, to convey to the hotel management the admiration for the work of the chef Mohamed (very tall), both in the Fatima restaurant and in preparing a snack from 15:00 at the beach bar. The food is deliciously cooked, replenished in a timely manner, and this is supervised by this very tall Mohamed. A lot of people eat in this restaurant, and the tables are cleaned and served very quickly.
We dined at 4 * - meat and fish were cooked deliciously, I had enough vegetables and fruits. The staff at the restaurant responded very quickly to requests. My favorite gin + sprite or 7ap has always been for me. The bar works excellently, the bartenders are smart, smiling. The waiters work like bees.
A fly in the ointment in this barrel of honey is a change of towels - they will take it away, but they will forget to bring it. Therefore, cleaning was abandoned, garbage bags, water and toilet paper were taken from the cleaner's trolley ourselves. Tip - take plenty of wet wipes - almost all surfaces in the room are dusty and sticky.
In 4 * the pool is cold, and in 5 * it is heated - after the sea you can flounder before sunset. There are enough beach towels and you do not need to carry them to your room.
The hotel grounds are well maintained and clean. Only for 4 * some kind of repair, but we didn’t go there, we went to the beach along the road.
Vacation was a success! BUT Shark Bay did not live up to my expectations - the north and NE and NW winds still penetrate through. Only lying on a fenced (as in Hurghada) sun lounger with other sun loungers could warm up in the sun after swimming, and in the presence of these winds it is very cold here in winter and even swimming in the warm sea does not save!
