We went to Sharm El Sheikh with the tour operator Join up, the departure scheduled for 13-00 was moved to 19-00, as a result we arrived at the hotel at 24-00. When checking in, we were persuaded to pay extra for the room, we did not agree and settled in a standard room. The room is good, the furniture is not new, but normal, except for the falling chairs on the balcony. The guide ordered us a late dinner in the room, at the reception they offered to choose a menu, we chose a chicken sandwich, salad and fruit - as a result we got a bun with cheese (!!! ), sliced ​ ​ cucumber, tomato and iceberg lettuce without salt, pepper and sauce, a slice of pie and an orange with a pear. There are 2 bottles of water in the room, 2 tea bags, 4 sugar and 2 cream every day, but if there is even an open bottle of water left, they will put only one. Cleaning in the room does not depend on tips, I was struck by the fact that towels are given for two, then two, then one. The bed is changed only if a special card is left on it. I was especially delighted - at check-in there were 2 rolls of toilet paper, then one was taken away))) Laundry bags were also taken away)))
The saddest thing at the entrance to the hotel is the smell. . . horrible....
The flower beds are watered with recycled water and all the amber lasts almost the whole day. Our building was located next to the water treatment plant - the rumble all day long, it is better not to open the door to the balcony. The hotel area was once beautiful, now it is "the remnants of former luxury. " The funicular to the pools and the sea runs every other time. I was struck by the location of the restaurant in the lobby, the passage through it to the funicular.

Sea: 2 pontoons, one is flooded and slippery, the second is plastic and small, you can swim only in the morning while everyone is sleeping, then there is a queue and there is nowhere to swim. You can’t swim from the shore - ankle-deep water. The fish are different and beautiful. Lifeguards work only during the day, there is no duty on the beach.
Pools: with ordinary water and sea water, DIRTY... Insects in the pool constantly, a film of oils in which all Arabs are constantly... Filters in the pool with sea water do not turn on...
Cleaning of pools and territory not earlier than 7-30 and all day long.
I liked the sign at the exit to the pools: Swim at your own risk, there are no lifeguards at the pools. That is, the salvation of drowning people is the work of the drowning people themselves)))
But the saddest thing is the food, bones with meat, coals from the liver 2mm thick on the grill, fish pancakes on the grill (!!!! ), a sandwich with vegetables and liver, boiled vegetables in an assortment, tasteless and boiled chicken, regardless of the cooking method fish tasteless. For those who do not eat rice, pasta, potatoes (mashed potatoes in Soviet canteens, compared to Egyptian ones, are the pinnacle of culinary art), but eat meat and fish, there is nothing to do here. In general, the chef of a restaurant can spoil any food, when he interviewed visitors and was told that the food was tasteless - he smiled... (and we told him, and the Germans, and the British, and the Czechs) and promised to make a dinner especially for YOU - the next day "specially for us" and all the patrons of the restaurant had roast turkey. . . tasteless. . . as usual. The menu is monotonous, what we didn't eat today - tomorrow it's overcooked with a different sauce. . . Fruits: pear, oranges, scree of grapes, pieces of melon and watermelon in syrup. Desserts: morning pastries are delicious, but desserts are disgusting, variations of a sponge cake with cream from a can. Sad for a 5 star hotel. .
In 2014 we were at Mirage Aqua Park & ​ ​ Spa 5 in Hurghada, so the food there was just superb.
In general, we regretted that we chose this hotel for our holiday. There are a lot of local vacationers from Syria, India and other Arab countries, the attitude towards them is better than towards Europeans.

Internet... Wi-Fi is free at the reception, but you need to connect in a new way every day. Internet speed 54mbps, with a large number of people - only Viber, more is not enough. The cost of the Internet in the room is 14 USD. per day.
It was not possible to swim normally in the sea, nor to enjoy the rest.
