I am in absolute difficulty rating this hotel. It's been 10 days since we arrived, my regular travel agent has already called me (Hi, Andrei : )))! , what would I say something intelligible about the rest in the hotel... In order not to pull the cat by... the horns, until going into details, I summarize: in this situation, this year (in the country, in the world, personally, financially, in terms of weather, etc. ), for me personally, the Falcon Hills hotel deserves its 7-9 points (7.8 on TurPravda) on a ten-point scale! Many of them, initially seemingly cons, when rethought, turn into seemingly pluses. We were not going to go to Egypt this year, from the word in general, we chose the hotel, being already on vacation, according to the principle: charm, hadaba, very little money. The most interesting thing is that for 9 nights (10 full days), with good arrival / departure times, it was cheaper than 7-8 nights with an early morning flight back. So ask your travel agents to turn the counter of days / dates of departure / arrival back and forth (Thanks, Daiquiri! )
Falcon Hills, THREE STARS. THIRD LINE. HADABA (third time: 4.5 and now 3 zirks).

The hotel is very small, family run, as for me quiet and peaceful. Clean, cute.
Settlement. Officially, as everywhere, 14.00. There are rooms and they suit you - they will settle you right away. There are no rooms right away - they will check in after 14.00 (after cleaning) and they will even let you choose if there is anything. You can give money, chocolates, you can not give, your own business. By and large, this will not affect anything, the guys at the reception are very adequate and always try their best. You want to get a number according to your preferences, if it is so free, then you will get it. The people were decent, mostly Belarusians, Kazakhs, Ukraine, Germans, Angles, not very many Russians yet (but they already flooded, flooded).
Rooms. The standard is standard. Not small. Everything you need to eat. Everything works or is repaired if it's broken. Tired, yes. Not fatal. View, either to the courtyard - one of the two pools (noisy and quiet), or outside - to the sports/children's playground - the wall of the fence. Who likes what. If inside, then through the terrace, where there are plastic armchairs, oops, you leave the room directly to the pool, but it’s noisy there, muzlo, and if the first floor, passing by, with the door open, they will see all your insides, and maybe you, naked (th) wow... If it’s outside - as it was with us (they offered both this and that, to choose from), then it’s quiet, calm, and you don’t even have to pull the curtains. Fence view. Although small snipers can scurry around everywhere. The second floor, respectively, is higher and quieter. But on the stairs : ))). What I didn't like was the central condo. No, it performs its function, cools, blows and is regulated... But the fans are already old and the bearings rattle not weakly. Plus, it seems that at night the refrigerator (probably to save money) is turned off for a short time, and it becomes stuffy (my impression is purely from 2 to 5 in the morning). There is an exit to the roof, there, it seems, there are chairs and you can see the sea and (they say) you can meet the dawn. I haven't been, but I saw people on the roof. There is no kettle in the room, but if you ask, they give. The memo says so - on request.
Staff. 9 out of 10. Do not sit, from the word at all. Polite, smiling. In the dining room, everything is cleaned, cleaned, changed instantly (I have not seen this in fives). The rooms are cleaned very well (yes, yes, they wash, vacuum, wipe, change towels and linen, they got into the room a couple of times during cleaning - they saw that they lifted the carpet, washed it under it, washed the floors, not chalk). And if you leave a chocolate bar or give a dollar (once or twice all the time), then they will also twist towels with fresh flowers. Treat the staff like friends, don't be rude, give someone a chocolate bar, someone a dollar, (not everyone in a row and not every day) with whom you just talk with a smile - many things will become much easier. You don’t even have to get up from the table (sit down, friend, right now I’ll bring everything, wine, a fork, a cup of tea, pepper, a napkin). Although even without this, you will be treated well and attentively.

Food. The choice is not very large, compared to 4-5. But, surprisingly, we ate everything the same as in the five-star hotel. It's just that the choice is very verified and averaged and nothing more. Not over-salted, not over-peppered, and without a wild amount of seasoning. There are no salads with mayonnaise from yesterday's set of vegetables and sausages, there is no huge number of unknown dishes made from some unknown things that you never take. Chopped vegetables. Meat (beef, chicken, duck, turkey) + fish. Pasta, rice, potatoes, couscous. Some stewed / fried / grilled vegetables (eggplants, peppers, cauliflower, peas, I don’t even remember what). You won’t stay hungry, but they won’t hit you with anything either (I’m lying, they hit you, duck). Rolls, desserts - a little, but there is always. There are very few fruits and in fact bullshit. Not tasty oranges and melon. A day later - grill (kebabs, chicken, vegetables). Meat / fish are laid (put) sort of in portions, but no one bothers you to say - more - and they will put more. I went for the most delicious duck twice, so the chef, on the second time, after I showed my thumb, piled on me as much as I didn’t need, choosing the best pieces. Do not trust anyone and do not rush to the dining room for the opening (some Russian woman claimed that if you do not come by 19.00, then nothing remains! ) everything that ends is served again and again. Just sometimes with a pause....And if you go later, then on the contrary, there will be everything and a lot, they will put more meat / fish, because there have already been hungry and greedy, and everything turns out to be enough and even remains....Yes, it can be stressful with tomatoes, they don’t have time to cut, but maybe they save : ))))
Bar. One. At the reception/dining room. From 10.00 to 24.00. Alcohol from 12.00 to 24.00. That is, beer from 12.00. Not habitual. But there are shops selling alcohol (local) + beer - Stella, Heineken - 2 bucks each. All the same, buy and take to the beach. Or don't take it. Or don't buy. Sometimes, from 12.00 to 13.00 there is a bar on the small pool, but without beer. Sometimes there is a separate karaoke bar in the evening. Wine - red and white, for lunch and dinner, you can drink it, it ends quickly. The beer is light, in kegs, not bad, it may run out - you have to wait for the replacement of the keg. Strong alcohol of local quality, my wife took cocktails with sambuca sometimes, like nothing. I took rum-cola (amno) and gin and tonic (sometimes niche, sometimes diluted), but I have enough wine and beer, so I’m not an adviser. Although people drink... It's better, IMHO, to take what you like in duty free when flying to Yegu. In Egypt, dutik is very expensive! Coffee is not a fountain, bought in a store and brewed in the room. Tea - packages in a flask. Juices - yupi. Soda - in assortment. Water is provided at the bar. You can also type in empty bottles, no one limits.
Now the main thing! Sea. Beach. All the reasons we come here!
Hadaba. Adore. If you take hotels not in the bay - without entering the sea, short pontoons with a reef wall. Sea of ​ ​ fish. If in the bay, then the price is sooo bites. Specifically, about Falcon: they rent a beach from some hotel every year, they take a bus, they were there once - the sand was up to the throat and....that's it... No reefs, no fish, there are a lot of glass-bottomed boats and speedboats around. In short, nothing. Although, our Minsk acquaintances went here, walked a little to the side to the wild beach (no umbrellas, no sunbeds, but an excellent reef, but security can drive. Bus from the hotel 9.30-13.45 and 14.00-17.00. Beer at the bar on the beach 5 bucks !

You can go from Falcon down to the sea to the paid Reef Beach, 8-15 minutes, 50 pounds per person, but if you take tickets at the hotel - 25 pounds per person, beer 4 bucks, you can carry it with you, but it’s difficult, they smuggle bags. The beach is not bad - normal sunbeds, shade from a large number of palm canopies, a lot of space between the sunbeds. Pontoon, without entering the sea from the shore. Reef wall. Near the pontoon Shores (Otium) Alohi. This year in October the wind was like from the middle of November! Very often a red flag! And if in Aloha they were not allowed to swim on the pontoon at all, then Reef Beach allowed it, but not far and periodically blocking the pontoon! THOSE. If we could get to the first line hotels this year, then out of 10 days we would be able to swim 3-4 days! We took a taxi 20 pounds to El Fanar Beach in the bay, entrance 50 pounds per person, sunbeds are back to back, old wooden ones, beer 3 bucks, but no one minds the beer that you brought, the sandy entry and you can go with the kids, but corals are required, there are yogis, small reefs with fish, up to a large reef 40-50 meters. The reef is awesome! Lively, colorful, hills and a bunch of fish - it's a pleasure for snorkeling! On this reef (a little further into the bay) they bring a bunch of excursions on boats, divers (I think this is ROB Bay, Farana Reef, Renaissance, Iberotel, but I didn’t look for sure). Here it seems like the minus of the hotel in the absence of its own beach turns into a plus: yes, you go / go to a paid beach, but to the one that you want yourself and on which you will definitely fall into the sea! And 100-150 dollars for 10 days for a taxi, beach and beer is still more profitable than the price of a 4-5 hotel on 1-2 lines with its own beach, but with a red flag! But all this applies to this year, this weather, these prices and this situation in the world.
Miscellaneous. Every evening from 21.00 to 00.00 from the hotel there is a free transfer every other day to Naama Bay or the Old Town. There is also on Soho, but I don’t know whether it is paid or free. We went to the old city, next to La Gazell (or in it? ) For 11 bucks a kilo, we took medium-sized grilled shrimp to go. I’ll say right away - a kilo is a lot for two, take 600-700 grams. We didn’t go to the Fares fish restaurant (for the umpteenth time! ), we didn’t like the view and the prices. Although Fares is praised. We went to Naama 2 times: to the dutik and in search of fish Mahoni. They flew out of the dutik in 5 minutes: in our retail trade prices are lower than there (Martini 17 bucks, in Minsk 8.4 euros - dutik)! We found the Mahoney fish restaurant, we went to it next time. People! Go to restaurants either hungry, or don't be greedy and order less! Of course, we wrapped up everything that we didn’t eat, but it’s more pleasant to eat hot and fresh.
Animation. Animation is. Vova and Kost(? ). From lunch and throughout the day until night. Active with children. They offer some contests, games for adults. But if you are not interested, do not pull by the hand. A day later, a dervish dance, a belly dance: once there was a boy - a complete delight, and so others, weakly; the same Moldovan giselle with an a la parody of belly dancing, in other hotels they dance much better, but you can look once.
Conclusion: for the three of this price category, the hotel is not even bad, for active couples - young and old without children, just young people who will not sit in the hotel. With children - if only they are hardy and unpretentious snoops, not afraid of water and depth (due to the lack of their own normal beach), although there were quite a few people with children. Will I come here again? If in the same situation as this year - definitely yes! This hotel will be better than many second-line fours, although you don’t expect this from a three.
