This year, it was not possible to get into the beloved Mars. Looking for closer options. We needed a good reef with livestock, an adequate price and excellent conditions in the hotel - all this is in the Albatros Palace Resort Sharm El Sheikh 5 *.
FLIGHT
Sky Up flew for the first time. The aircraft have comfortable and more spacious luggage compartments on top than Wind Rose and UIA. The distance between the seats is a little more. They did not force women's handbags to hide under a chair or in the trunk. Upon arrival, those who passed PCR in Ukraine were separated and immediately taken to the bus. Approximately 20% failed. We waited for them in the same bus for 15-20 minutes.
It takes about 20-30 minutes from the airport to the hotel.
ROOM

Before the arrival, I wrote to the Lese Gastrelation Hotel, asking for a room on the first floor in the 5th building (near the pontoon). But they gave me a room in building 8 (without any additional payments), which turned out to be just great! Gorgeous sea view. The exit from the room is almost a personal small pool - you go out and flop to freshen up.
I didn’t specifically ask for an early settlement, I wanted to check - they settled in and fed right away !!!
Everything in the room is new and comfortable. The simplest safe I've seen. Huge TV, which I turned on once to check.
In the bathroom - a complete set of cosmetics, hair dryer, towels are changed every day.
The air conditioning system is very convenient - it does not blow into unnecessary places))) When we arrived in the room it was 31 degrees and the temperature dropped for a very long time. Thought it was an air conditioner problem. Turns out you just had to wait.
There is a kettle, cups, coffee and tea in the room. A small inconvenience for me - very large pillows. Usually there is one large and one small.
HOTEL
Beautiful layout. Great receptionist. 8 pools, 1 with jacuzzi (super), 2 with waterfalls, 1 with children's slides. The first hotel where I used the pools. Near each hotel the depth is signed.
4 bars, 3 restaurants. Everything is constantly washed and cleaned. A very convenient path is laid out to the pontoon itself through the entire hotel. Convenient promenade. There are shops near the hotel. In a shop with sweets / fruits, the price is the same as in the city in the market - mango 1-3 dollars, sweets from 2 dollars. There is a golf course. There are no Arab tourists
INTERNET, WIFI
Free, good quality throughout the hotel. The room is perfect. 4 gadgets could be connected to one login/password. The 5th has not given. It was easy to watch movies. If someone needs to work, please note that VPN does not work.
NUTRITION
You can eat from 7 am to 24:00. Drink around the clock. There is a children's menu. There are 3 bars with good snacks, not just burgers and fries. Ice cream from 12 to 17.
For example, a standard lunch - something on the grill is always very tasty (at lunch, in this heat there was always a grill), stew, veal, chicken, meat with vegetables - somehow it was all beautifully called. Often squid, fish.

Dinner at a fish restaurant - grilled buri (mullet), steamed mullet, squids constantly cooked perfectly (not hard), shrimp, meatballs and fish cutlets (not tasty), fish in spicy sauce.
I'm already silent about the divine pizza at the beach bar. I don't eat pizza at all in Kyiv. But there was some kind of thin, airy dough and a lot of stuffing. There are no queues. The waiters are super attentive.
Sweets and fruits - standard - a lot and tasty.
SEA. snorkeling
New comfortable clean sunbeds, fences, tables. The pontoon surprised me - plastic, swaying on the waves. I'm used to solid piers. But it didn't cause any inconvenience.
The Albatross pontoon opens at 7 am. A security guard sits next to you and doesn't let you in. BUT! I went to the Baron and Sensatori pontoon at 5:30-6 in the morning. and snorkeled from there. ATTENTION - all pontoons are closed - Albatross, Montaza, Baron, Sensatori, BUT there are no guards near the pontoons of Montaza, Baron, Sensatori. I calmly passed through the ropes at 5.30 or 6:00 and swam as I wanted. From Albatross to Sensatori, walk slowly along the coast for 30 minutes. In the morning, not stressful, but a warm-up. From the pontoon, Albatross swam as she wanted and where she wanted - against the current to Sensatori and back, to Melton and back. Apparently there were not very attentive employees on the pontoon))) they didn’t whistle, they didn’t stop. And only on the last day there was one attentive, called me and told me to sign in the magazine. He says: "You swim far. Sign. " And all : -)
Every day she swam with a huge potato grouper - she lives between Sensatori and Montaza, twice she saw Napoleon and barracuda, once a moray eel, many times stingrays, lionfish and triggers. And the rest of the colorful little things are enough. Beautiful corals start to the left between Montaza and continue to Sensatori or closer to Melton.
It takes 5 minutes to swim to Montaza, to Sensatori from 30 minutes to an hour (it is against the current). Back 30-40 minutes very slowly, admiring.

30 min sail to Melton. You are floating over a very warm zone. But then there is a section with a very strong current. Back, against the current for about forty minutes.
I’ll clarify for those who are afraid to swim - I don’t know how to swim at all, I swim alone and always wear a vest. In this bay, it is not at all difficult to swim against the current.
EXCURSIONS. ENTERTAINMENT
Good animation in the hotel for adults and children.
Snorkel lovers should definitely take an excursion to the Ras Mohamed reserve - really beautiful corals and a sea of ​ ​ living creatures. There are three types of excursions, from 30 to 65 dollars, choose what you like. We went on a sightseeing tour, visited a wonderful fish restaurant with a delicious lunch. Crab, squid, shrimp and mussel soup is perfect! Well, the second dish too.
Acquaintance with Sharm El Sheikh finally took place. The next target is Ras Um El Sid.
