The first time we rested in the winter at the sea, I would like to share my impressions about the hotel, the winter sea and Egypt.
Let's start.
The flight was delayed for 6 hours, I will tell about the company "Join UP" below. There is no “Duty Free” terminal F at the airport, the prices for water, coffee sandwiches are cosmic. Before boarding the plane, we stood in a crowded bus with closed doors for 30 minutes, and at that time they cleaned the plane. Why announce a landing and take people to an unfinished plane is not clear, hello to the Sky Up air carrier. For that we flew in 3 hours, I was very surprised, we usually fly longer. Upon arrival, we immediately went to passport control, since the tour agent gave us migration cards and we filled them out at home, citizens of Ukraine do not need a visa. At passport control, adults are photographed and some manipulations with fingerprints are carried out, the child’s photo is simply verified. Baggage received quickly. After receiving the luggage, I went to buy a local SIM card, at the exit there are three stalls "Vodafone", "Orange", "Etisalat". At Vodafone, the longest queue, I bought Orange this time, $1.16 gigabytes. Everything worked great.

The road to the hotel from the airport "Sharm El Sheikh" took about 20 minutes, we were lucky, we were the first to be brought to the hotel. Good road. big bus,
We arrived at the hotel at 16:00. At the reception they took the documents for the settlement and said to take a walk for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, they provided a room, issued two electronic keys and three cards for towels. Our room was in the central building, on the first floor, right next to the slides. The room has one single bed, one double bed, wardrobe, large TV, safe, refrigerator (six bottles of drinking water are replenished every day), on the balcony, drying for things, two chairs, a small table. The TV shows about 5 Russian channels, 5 Ukrainian (1 + 1.2 + 2, TET, etc. ), you can insert a flash drive with movies or cartoons. Bathroom and toilet are standard, lots of bottles for women. Towels are changed every day, you just need to throw them on the floor. There are no slippers in the room, no bathrobes. The bed is also changed regularly, I didn’t specifically track it.
Liked the room, did not try to improve.
The Internet on the territory is normal, sometimes crashes, you just need to authorize again. For viewing news and correspondence is enough.
A little about the weather. It gets chilly in the evening, windbreakers were worn. During the day it was a little windy at sea, but in general we got sunburned and swam a lot. Beach in the morning, pools in the afternoon.
The road to the beach takes 5 minutes by bus, they go more often than it is written in the schedule. The beach is 1/3 open. Near the lift they cut off the rock there while the beach is closed. For two hotels the territory is very small. The beach is clean, sunbeds mattresses are already on the verge. Towels are issued only in the hotel in one place, a small but inconvenience. The sea is clean, the entrance is sandy, there are few fish near the pier. At low tide, which lasts three days, the sea went more than 1 meter. I swam towards the exit from the bay, in comparison with the coral of the Nabq region, there was nothing to look at. I saw one moray eel, few fish. The coral is dead.

There is a bar on the beach where you can have a bite to eat if you wish. The drinks at the beach bar and in the hotel are terrible, you can only drink bottled beer. Who uses - buy in "Duty Free".
3 restaurants (main, Italian, oriental), plus one by appointment (fish) can be visited for free once. They serve well. The food is monotonous, every day fish (pangasius) is very fatty, chicken, beef, side dishes, fresh vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes, salads), pizza is made, something is fried on the grill in the evening. Fruits: apples, bananas, melon, orange. A small table of desserts. Waiters have a special income: they offer everyone to celebrate a birthday, in response to the answer that the next summer, they say, let's just have a party.
Animation. I can’t say much here, because we didn’t really intersect.
The hotel area is cozy and clean. On the territory of 4 complexes with slides for adults, three complexes with slides for children, a pool with artificial waves, 3 small pools near the buildings. Heated: with artificial waves, one near the building and one for children. The rest of the water is very cold. There is a lazy river. River with boats "Gondola" (free of charge). You can play volleyball and football. In the evenings near the central building they show cartoons on the big screen, children's, adult animation. Everything ends at 23:00.
The old city can be reached on foot in 10 minutes, a taxi $ 2, up to 5 hours on a bus that takes people to the beach. The city is quite dirty. At the market they bought strawberries for $1 per kg, mango (royal) for $3 per kg, tiger shrimps for $12 per kg, sweets from $1 to $5 per pack.

Upon leaving the hotel, the bracelets are not cut off, our flight was postponed for 8 hours, the room could not be extended, at the reception they said: the hotel is completely full, we had to wait in the lobby. The representative of "Join UP" could not really say anything, it seemed that he was even hiding from tourists. We were picked up from the hotel 4 hours 30 minutes before departure. We were taken to Soho and offered to take a walk along the street, some tourists had children fall asleep in their arms, so I didn’t want to get off the bus and go for a walk somewhere.
At the airport "Sharm el-Sheikh" 4 times passed inspection, swabs were taken for the presence of explosives. They check everyone, women, children. Migration cards were given to us by a tour agent and we filled them out at home, again less hassle. At the last inspection, they took 0.5 of water from the hotel, which they took for the child. At the same time, after two meters, exactly the same was sold for $ 4, nonsense.
I can't help but say a few words about the company "Join UP". Where they were not on our course, everything was fine, but when it was necessary to cross with them, it was a complete disaster. I don't know what must happen if I use this company.
Let me summarize. The territory is excellent. The rooms are good. Food is ok. Service is ok. We were satisfied with the rest, the flight there and back is a “nightmare”. Would I go to this hotel again? Maybe yes. Would I recommend it to my friends? Yes.
