Although 3 months have passed since the vacation, I want to remember it and write about my impressions. In previous reviews, almost everything is described in great detail, so I will not dwell on obvious things.
I spent my vacation at the hotel with my sons 5.5 and 13 years old. Oh, and we were lost! When vacationing with dad, this did not happen))
I rested in Egypt for the 8th time, but still I encountered something for the first time. Perhaps my experience will be useful to someone from the tourists.
So:
1) I had to use insurance for the first time: the youngest child (5.5 years old) fell in one of the children's water parks (on the upper platform, from which 3 slides lead down) and bit his lip through and through. The hotel staff (rescuers, a girl from the reception, medical staff) worked instantly: after a few minutes, the child was stitched into the honey. point located right on the territory of the hotel. According to the insurance conditions, I paid $30. The wound was treated, sutures were applied, an antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory drug were given, the bandage was changed for the next 3 days. Thanks to them, they are great. They also brought a fruit basket and a bottle of Coca-Cola (3 pieces of 0.33 l each) from the hotel to the room.
2) one of the first days we lost our beach towel, which has never happened to my family before. I'm not sure - either we forgot it, or someone else decided that he needed it more : ) But, turning to the Russian girl Asya at the reception, the issue was resolved: the next day we were given another take to replace the lost one. In fairness, it should be noted that Asya assured that this is a rare case - usually towels are not found. They didn't take any money from me.
3) at some point, going to the sea, we found no masks, no snorkels, no beach toys ((. We remembered that we left the bag with them on the sunbed near the pool under our buildings. It turned out that the hotel has something something like a lost and found office, where they bring what tourists like us have forgotten) Under the signature, we were given our package with all the contents, although at the time of the loss it had already been 2 days!
4) the youngest took a scooter with them. The territory of the hotel is huge - I don't want to ride. One evening we were playing dominoes in the lobby bar, we put the scooter behind the sofa. In general, the little one fell asleep and had to carry him in his arms to the room. The eldest son carried the bag, we safely forgot about the scooter until the next morning. In the morning at the reception it was returned to us!
5) Teztour: thanks to the guide for the help. Now I don’t remember his name, but he helped to replace a low-quality photo from an excursion with a decent one. We took a photo on the Bathyscaphe, the photographer handed over to the hotel a very overexposed one, on which other people were visible. Thanks to the guide, the next day after the appeal (I gave back a poor-quality photo), they gave me an excellent one, taking into account all my comments.
What else I discovered for myself: a vacation in Egypt in June is great, I didn’t even expect it (before that, they flew only in spring and autumn). What is good: very warm water in all pools and the sea. There was no need to fish the children out of the water with blue lips. Of course, it's hot, but when the pool is at every step, it's not scary.
Of course, there were minor inconveniences, but this is life and I try not to dwell on the negative. Overall the holiday was wonderful, the hotel exceeded expectations from a 4* in Egypt.
