My review is for those who look at everything from a positive side, armed in advance with useful information... The Citadel for me is a place to relax. Been there many times. This season surprised me with the abundance of Russian tourists. Studying the reviews before the trip, I did not find information about the abundance of Russian tourists (this is Russia) in this hotel. Previously, they were there up to 20%. For two days I came to my senses, but then the Citadel brought me back to earth. . .
This hotel has everything: friendly staff (if you are friendly of course), good rooms, a wonderful beach, food is quite good for Egypt, many interesting places for solitude with nature, entertainment if necessary. This is a place to think and relax. The one who built it, designed it, I think that's it.
Now, what is in reality. 10 Russians - this is not noticeable. If there are a majority of them, then it's a disaster....

1 The queue near the dishes in the restaurant, they manage to stand near the potatoes with the thought of how many things I should take, and so on next to each dish.
2 BOOKING SUNCHAIRS (even by the pool) This is a shock for all hotel workers, for 4 seasons they have not seen so many scarves tied and slippers for swimming. And this is with a beach strip of 1.5 km.
3 They break everything - from sun loungers to toilet doors.
4 Gobies throw rubbish everywhere and into the water and onto the sand. The cleanliness of the toilets, (feet on the toilet - is this the norm?!!!! ) just do not have time to clean. I don't want to give details.
5 Bar counter - any habitat for Russians. The bartender is just losing weight before our eyes from the eternal fuss and rudeness. . .
6 The playing music of the Leningrad group within the walls of the Citadel... The architect did not take this into account during the construction. Better than the 5th building - at least you can't hear it.
7 To hand over towels in the evening - it's too difficult for them... From there, stale towels in the morning for others...
The problem of all these points is one thing - in Russian tourists, who believe that having paid like everyone else for vouchers, they believe that it was Egypt who looked at them, and they did not come to another country. Well, just kings and queens. There is no respect for anyone, neither for their fellow citizens nor for themselves. (Europeans and the local population, this is not taken into account at all). I am a typical Slav, and I am ashamed when they call me Russian, I immediately switch to English or Arabic. It remains to improve the language, accent. Because I didn’t come up with a way to deal with uncultured Russian tourists. It's a shame that all of the above tourists are vacationing with children and show all these standards of behavior to them, and allow them everything... It's scary to think what they will look like when they grow up.

Everyone who recognizes himself, please --- please don’t come there, well, you don’t fit into this place according to any standards, but the willows won’t come off, you don’t like everything, everything is in your opinion, not boorishly not in raised tones. . . You like to enter a restaurant in swimming trunks, and without rinsing the children from the sand, sit down at the table to dine. Keeping a relaxed dress code for dinner is also difficult for you, do not be offended if you are asked to leave the restaurant. (in shorts and sleeveless T-shirts)
P. S. I apologize for the generalization of Russian tourists. I think conscious citizens will not be offended. I will answer all specific questions for those who fly there for the first time.
I hope something will change (management will stop selling many numbers to Russia and making special prices for them, as it is now. ) and Citadel Azur will happily meet me.
