I will immediately make a reservation that those. who expects a luxury hotel and a luxurious room - Amira is not for them. The hotel is the furthest from Hurghada, small, surrounded by construction sites, which is typical for all of Egypt. The service staff does not know Russian at all, communication is at the level of gestures and simple English words. In the restaurant, the cleaners of the rooms are only men, the qualifications in the hotel service are low. But there are many benefits too. No more than 30-40 people lived in the hotel during our stay, groups of divers from France, Germany and Ukraine appeared, but they left the hotel early in the morning and appeared late in the evening, so there were very few tourists who lived "all inclusive" . The beach and the restaurant were at our disposal. There was no crowd, there was no early trip to the beach in order to take a sunbed. The beach is cozy, and during the day we could change many places, following the sun. Sunbeds, towels, drinks on the beach were present without problems. The sea is beyond praise, clean, beautiful, warm, but be sure to stock up on swimming slippers. There is a coral reef, it is not far to swim to it, every swimming person can do it.
The food is rather peculiar, but, if not to be capricious, it is quite tolerable. Dinners did not cause any complaints at all, the breakfast was not bad, the lunches were worse, but there was no variety, apparently because very few people dined at the hotel. They didn’t want to entertain us, except for excursions, once a dancer appeared and entertained us for an hour. The hotel is located in the city itself. which made it possible to observe the life, customs of the Egyptians, and this is very interesting !!
Were with an Arabic phrasebook. our phrases in Arabic evoked warm smiles, praises, and interest in us among the locals, although spoken Arabic, according to them, differs from literary (which is in the phrase book). Excursions must be taken to Luxor, Hurghada, boat trips, it is far and scary to go to Cairo, there are no rules on the road, they go as they see fit.

In general, for a quiet, relaxing holiday without night vigils, it is quite possible to go to Amir)))
