Stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend. Vouchers were bought in the tour agency KoralOtdykh on Lublinskaya. Having a certain budget, we asked the manager Volnushkina Svetlana to find us a tour for the next few days. It turned out that there were no plane tickets for last-minute and special offers in the coming days, so there was no point in having them, we were offered the Dolphin House 5 * hotel, while indicating that it was new built this year in June, what office staff went on vacation and they really liked it. Well, we thought that if the employees went there, it means that the hotel is probably safe, but as it turned out, this is not so. Let's start with the fact that later it turns out that the hotel is not new, but renamed from Paradase Marsa Alam, in addition to everything 4 *, contrary to the declared 5 * tour operator. the hotel is in the middle of the desert, there is nowhere to go, a taxi to the city costs $ 30, and in general there is nothing to see in this city.
for the entire time of our stay, a guide from MOSTREVAL never came, there was not even an information stand where you could find out who our guide is, his coordinates and phone number, his schedule of stay at our hotel, what excursions the tour operator offers, and so on. . . we didn’t even know where to find out about the departure time later, since there is no stand ....
In general, we saw the guide only 3 times: during transfers from the airport to the hotel and back, and during the transfer to Luxor during the tour. We didn't see him again. Upon arrival at the hotel, the guide immediately informed us about 2 possible excursions - Luxor and a boat trip, put before the fact that the money needs to be returned now, if anyone wants to go, he also said that all issues could be resolved with him by phone until the replacement rooms, but when we asked him for a phone number, he politely answered - there is one at the reception, ask and they will connect you. As it turned out, his phone was not there.

It was not clear what to do, whom to look for and who to contact in case of problems or extreme situations. There was no Russian-speaking person at the reception, so we could not even express our displeasure to anyone and solve the elementary problems of the lack of towels in the room, a blocked safe and a non-working TV. It’s good that they knew English at least somehow and were able to communicate in it with the staff at the reception, and everything was fixed for us from 2 times with the arrival of the general manager.
Speaking about the hotel - firstly, it’s not 5 * even on paper, on what basis the tour operator declares them - I don’t know, secondly, there is neither a sandy entry nor a pantone on the beach, you have to walk along dead corals, fall into crevices, it is full of big hedgehogs and we even saw a sea snake.
Why there is no pantone in the hotel - for us this is generally nonsense, it is contrary to elementary safety rules, besides, there were children in the hotel, as I understand it, no one thought about them. Moreover, there was no tower on the beach to watch the beach, where a lifeguard should sit, which we also did not find - who will be responsible in case of something and who will provide assistance - probably few people were interested. panton has been built there for 2 years already, 1 pile per week : ))))
As for the territory of the hotel - the territory is rather poor, there is very little greenery, the palm trees are all dried up - they stick out like sticks from the sand, mostly everything is in paving stones and slabs. There was a tennis court on the beach, when we saw it it became funny : ) - it's a outlined rectangle right on the sand with a sagging net : ) how can you play tennis on such a "field" - it's not clear.
Table tennis tables - there were 2 of them, one was skewed and crooked with shabby rackets stood day and night, but no one played it - because it is impossible to play such junk : ) as soon as a group of Italians arrived, they immediately laid out a good table and took it out more or less normal rackets : )
There was no animation at all, as it turned out later, she was fired a few days before our arrival. the only entertainment during the day was water polo with collapsing gates, which the tourists themselves entertained themselves with, and in the evening there was a disco where they played the same mixed disc every day.

The dining room was small and the menu was rather poor - from drinks they offered powdered juices, 7up, Mirinda, Cola, freshly squeezed orange juice costs 1 euro, and the oranges seemed to be selected as the worst - all green and battered)). From alcohol, it’s not at all possible to drink anything personally for me, they say beer can still be tolerated and rum.
And so everything is of local origin, the wine is sour and gives off alcohol, rum, whiskey tequila - I don’t even know, we didn’t drink.
food was always the same salads, cabbage leaves, cucumbers, tomatoes. From hot 1 fish dish, 1 meat dish, garnish with rice, pasta, potatoes, boiled or stewed vegetables. For breakfast, dry balls with pavidl or milk, (there were no milk porridges and soups at all) local tea bags, instant Nescafe coffee, cocoa that no one could drink, a couple of buns, pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausages with pepper - there was always one for breakfast and also. of the soups there was only one kind - some kind of broth with a mashed soup for soup : ))) From the fruit, we saw only green melon (goava, according to the local it seems, only it could be eaten), red dates that knitted the mouth and only 1 time caught apples.
In general, the only thing that saved us there was communication with people, which began with complaints about this hotel, and then continued with attempts to entertain ourselves : )
there were shop tents nearby - and young guys speaking Russian - so we went to talk to them, smoke a hookah, drink tea and dance Arabic dances - they were for us instead of animation)))

In general, summing up our trip, I can say one thing: this hotel is not worth the money that we paid for it, yes, it has both pluses (spacious rooms and communication with people) and minuses (which I have already talked about. ) could be tolerated, but not such a level for the money.
