We have long wanted and planned to visit this paradise of the world, and it finally happened. Yesterday we returned from the Jaz Maraya hotel. And we really, really liked him. I will say more, it exceeded our expectations, because we don’t expect much from Egyptian hotels.
Firstly, it is very close to Marsa Alam airport. Drive for about 10 minutes.
Secondly, very cool rooms, new. We have a quiet room overlooking the garden. There are rooms with sea views and private pools.
Room cleaning was excellent. The food is prepared very tasty, in a European style, I won’t say that there is a wide variety of dishes, but there is enough choice to eat, everything is fresh and tasty. There is always yoghurt, muesli, fish, chicken, beef, 2 times there were huge shrimp, grilled red fish, squid. Various fresh juices, sometimes in the form of cocktails. Fruits and dried fruits are in abundance, both whole and cut (several varieties of apples, melon, pineapple, pear, red and yellow plums, guava, grapes, even peaches, dates).
There is a huge selection of sweets, I tried many of them for the first time. The vegetables were cooked very tasty, there were even stuffed pancakes. A restaurant near the beach serves delicious pizzas, burgers and a huge menu of dishes.
The underwater world is fascinating. Thousands of fish. Sail further - turtles live. The beach is sandy for children, you need to walk a little further.
The animators are excellent, not intrusive, but interesting. And for children there is a good evening program and entertainment and activity throughout the day.
The Internet works throughout the territory, but intermittently.
There is a promenade along the sea, 2 km, convenient for walking with a stroller, or just for a walk.
The hotel is not a party place, there are no discos, everything is at 22, maybe it goes quiet a little later.
I recommend the hotel for a relaxing holiday.
