This was my first visit to Marsa Alam and Jazz resorts. I have to say that I will definitely visit it again at least and hopefully with my entire family.
I was looking for a quiet place as I needed a break from work. I didn't want some huge, noisy place with loud nighttime activities.
Jazz Mariah was the perfect choice - it's small and very cozy. Although all guests have the opportunity to use all the amenities and restaurants of the neighboring Jaz Lamaya Resort. I had a family room with a sea view, large and comfortable. I could see and listen to the sea - it was wonderful. Room cleaning was always excellent.
I really liked the main restaurant. Fresh and tasty food (thanks to the chef), smiling and polite staff - cooks, waiters (thanks Ali, Taha and literally the entire staff) - everyone speaks English, German, Polish and tries some Ukrainian words. They are polite and very good and playful with children.
The place is also cozy.
Lovely tiny beach if you want to feel private and you can use the larger beach at nearby Lamaya for a pier and more people if you want. The reef is also beautiful, with lots of fish and even a turtle! I saw dolphins twice! In the morning the sea is clear. What is an additional advantage is that there is no current and you can swim far and for a long time.
Another positive point is that diving lessons can be taken at the same place where the Coraya Divers dive center is located nearby. I took my first diving lessons during my stay and also had a boat trip and the opportunity to swim with a huge turtle and a sea cow with Coraya Divers Center (my sincere thanks to Mohammed Gamal for his professional attitude)
The animation team is fun, but not annoying. Lots of activities by the pool or on the beach if you're up for it.
Volleyball, yoga, stretching, water aerobics, etc.
Another plus is that you can walk or run for a long time near the shore - the territory of coastal hotels is open for this (most of them are from the Jazz group).
