I read the reviews, well, as they say, “all felt-tip pens taste and color... ” I will state my point of view. I was with my family, from October 20 for 10 days. When choosing a hotel, I read equally conflicting reviews, but still went to this hotel. And they were satisfied with the choice... As already noted, it took 2-2.5 hours to get from the airport, but this did not cause any particular problems, the meeting party did everything in an organized manner and without delay. From the trip to the hotel, I was once again convinced that there was nothing to see in Egypt (although I was driving for the first time). Upon arrival, the papers were filled out and a sealed envelope was issued in the name of the surname, with everything necessary (cards, instructions, advertising). Room on the 3rd floor (which pleased), quite spacious, view of the interior of the hotel (the building is located "horseshoe"), a nice loggia with chairs and a table. What else do you need? Well, I didn’t come to sit in the room... gels-bumblebees-towels are present, in the refrigerator 2 bottles of water (as they are spent, they add a new one - for free), a safe, TV (I show something there, but I don’t watch TV, and the child watched everything different languages). The room was cleaned every day, we were satisfied with the quality, he didn’t portray himself as a “foreman” - he didn’t spend a white handkerchief in hidden places, so they probably freed up...  They didn’t leave tips. Gels-bumblebees - were replenished as they were spent. My wife used her own, but the locals were fine with me and the child. The only thing they have is a hair dryer, too “goat”, I didn’t use it, and my wife grumbled a little. Well, here, I agree with her, they could also buy normal hair dryers. As a result, the placement of the hotel - offset.
It is clear that after checking in, I urgently wanted to eat, and then dinner arrived in time. The restaurant (hereinafter referred to as the “canteen”) copes well with the influx of visitors, both in terms of free tables and the availability of food. For the first two days, I ate heavily, but then, due to the lack of hassle and heavy physical loads, I switched to a measured lifestyle and moderate nutrition, with an emphasis on persimmons and grapefruits. For those who are very interested in the variety of food, it is customary for the hotel to focus on various cuisines of the world on the days of the week. The schedule hangs at the entrance to the "canteen" - 7 days of the week = 7 variations on the theme... Of course, there are no culinary delights, but is it necessary ?? ? There is also an “a la carte” restaurant with an emphasis on Italy, where you can book a table once for free, but we didn’t manage to do anything, and somehow we didn’t really want to. It seems that there, the same eggs only in profile. Although I haven't, I don't know. For drinks: because my wife and I prefer "Massandra" sweet fortified wines, then the wine did not make an impression, I actually tried the current and didn’t take it anymore, and my wife drank a glass a day. But beer "Sahara" is even nothing, I drank it with pleasure. From hard drinks - I didn’t want vodka (didn’t try it), whiskey and gin weren’t at all, so I drank rum (medium scall). In general, there are no complaints about nutrition. Although the wife and child do not differ in “stomach strength”, they did not have any problems. We felt great.
According to the daily routine: we got up at 6 o’clock, the comrades Egyptians were smart with time, they would have shifted the time by two hours it would have been the very thing, the sun clearly corresponded to 8 hours, and when it got dark, well, what kind of 18 hours - 20 according to all sensations . We got up and went to the beach in order to “stake out” couchettes and a hammock in the first row, closer to the sea, walked along the shore... (As already mentioned, flies are present, but they apparently do not fight them on a critical scale, so they will sometimes fly) returned to room woke up the child and in a great mood were put forward for breakfast. After breakfast on the beach… swimming along the coral reef, walking along the shore. The hotel was built, as they say, in an open field (which made us very happy), the empty shore was nice to walk around, but the guards were worried when they left the territory. Yes, and we were somewhat afraid to go far, so in the area of u200bu200ba kilometer no more, although we wanted to take a walk further. But the sea... just a miracle.

The wife swam with a snorkel for the first time. Mad delight. I was accustomed to the Ural underwater expanses - I was harsh, but inside everything trembled and sang. The coral dump to the depth is magnificent, while diving, I only regretted that when I was going to the sea, I didn’t grab a 1.5 kilo weight belt. I had to make a lot of effort to stay at a depth of 8-10 meters, and at depths of 2-4 meters I was generally thrown out like a cork. And I also had to keep an eye on my wife, so I didn't dive in. But together we swam along the slope for 800 meters from the pier. , in both directions. To the left is more interesting than to the right. It was like that for THREE days. Then a “fresh” wind began, the red flag was raised and it hung until the very departure. Those. you can’t swim, but if you really want to, you can. Only for this you need to have a lot of health. My health was not enough, I only lasted a couple of times. Diving is not comfortable, too much energy is spent on fighting the wave. Therefore, in this weather, apparently only diving. True, we were warned in the travel agency that the wind season would begin. So keep in mind: in this hotel you can’t swim in the sea with the wind. BUT!!! ! As we were later told by friends who were there a couple of weeks later: to the south in a neighboring hotel, which is located in a bay closed from the wind, they swam with might and main without any problems. We went there on foot along the shore, despite the concern of the guards. Eh, they would have known before... but they write here about the dust in the rooms, but about where to run when the wind is not written... There is nothing to do on the beach and in the sea without special slippers. It's better to buy at home. In general, like all equipment, all garbage is sold in Egypt at the same prices as ours. Although we can where there is something worthwhile, but you need to know this, and so with a swoop of figurines. Although I consoled myself with the hope of buying a short hydra for cheap, but there are no figurines. Yes, if someone doesn’t have anything at all, then on the pier they give a mask-snorkel-fins for free, but everything is dead.
Of the cult-mass events, I was interested in "water polo", held in an indoor heated pool. Former Soviet citizens make up the bulk of the participants, rarely when a German or an Englishman gets excited. And so our citizens are fun and reckless... With children and women... they are cut into a ball on the water... My son went out of the bath and into the cool outdoor pool... and I followed him. (I read somewhere that they complain that the water in the pools is cold, I’m not a fan of cool water, at home in the hot summer I won’t get into the water without hydra, but here it doesn’t freeze. And the heated pool is generally a bath - you can boil. ) After, the same contingent for beer and volleyball. There is a claim to the site - they could fill it with sand and dig out stones! And then periodically the players mined them. Our people, accustomed to playing on sandy beaches, paid for the habit of pulling out balls in the fall with torn knees and other things than falling on the “sandy” rather shell sand. But the sea heals wounds well. Volleyball ended when it got dark, they brought the ball to the animators themselves, because according to their plan, another entertainment begins, and we are in a passion and therefore they left the ball to us. There are football gates nearby, but due to the lack of teams they played only once, and even then on such a surface, well, in fig. Yes, there is a tennis court on the beach! HA three times!! ! Basically, you can't play there. Apparently made for show. There is a football field, tennis court and basketball court on site, but this is not relevant. I never saw anyone there. After volleyball it's already dark as at night, and it's still only 18 hours. Son (swimming) so as not to lose shape - for training in an open round pool. Well, I'm addicted, only the truth is in fins and underwater. And who again said that the water is cold! ? Well! The water is illuminated no people…. At the end of the training, my son and I arranged a sprint - one pool: it’s like that, I’m in fins... to the maximum... we swim together... I’m a little alive, he’s fine. Room-shower-dinner. After dinner, my son and I had a couple of parties on billiards... Then we walked around the territory with my wife and visited shops. Prices as prices (then I looked at the airport for comparison, almost the same). My wife bought there all sorts of "nonsense (souvenirs)" for gifts and a couple of figurines for herself, she collects them. Hours at 23 - sleep. The son (11 years old) stayed to “hang out” with the guys, he came himself somewhere around one in the morning. We have been sleeping for a long time. The first time I still ran periodically checked how he was there, and then they let him go absolutely calmly... We all went to the fakir show together, the rest of the programs somehow remained aloof from me. Although once they sang karaoke, "In the land of magnolias" gr. Ariel. I really played billiards at that time, but the song pleased me. Somebody did a good job finding it. Then they sang something Russian, but it was not the same 
Every day (you must pre-register) at 11 o'clock they take you to the bay on the sandy beach. 20 minutes south by bus. IMHO nonsense. Compared to the reef at the hotel - the water is muddy, and if the tide begins to ebb, you will have to make an effort to swim ashore. You can also sign up for a sauna, jacuzzi, but we never did. There is also a gym, but I think that if you don’t go at home, then walking here is like a dead poultice. That's why I didn't go. In general, they led a measured life. The staff did not strain, they listened to foreign speech with pleasure, trying to distinguish familiar words. Suddenly, German words surfaced (I taught at school), although now I understand English an order of magnitude more (although I didn’t study at all), but here you go. I didn't want to leave like hell. We strongly regretted that we did not take more days...
Now we are going to go in April, but for some reason we don’t have offers of this hotel in the travel agency (I would love to go back to this “village”. For me, it’s a huge plus that it is in an open field, quiet and calm, and the main sea and reef. ) But they don’t offer it. While we are watching Charm... And the reviews are again contradictory...
