In Egypt for the 5th time, before that we were in hotels in Hurghada and Sharm, only 5 stars. We decided to go to Marsa Alam, we were ready for the fact that the road from the airport would be long and difficult, but it turned out that everything was not so scary - we arrived quickly, in 2 hours on a good road, it was not particularly tiring. This hotel has amazing architecture and friendly staff. Many young people from Europe, there were several families of Arabs with children. Everyone behaved calmly. The food is varied and delicious, I'm always surprised when they say that there is a small selection of dishes, you can always find what you like - chicken, lamb, beef, fish (once they even cooked barracuda on the grill), vegetables in all sorts of variations, yogurts and pastries in the morning, every evening a themed dinner of cuisine from different countries of Italy, Egypt, Germany. At lunch, ice cream is placed in the refrigerator near the coffee and tea counter. There is a restaurant on the beach where you can eat pizza, hot dogs, french fries, etc. But the most wonderful thing is the sea. I have never seen such a beautiful reef in any hotel. I really liked that there are wild beaches and lagoons nearby, in which a lot of living creatures also live. . We went on an excursion to the Coral Garden - sailed on a yacht, 2 stops for diving - beautiful corals and fish, the second stop - turtles - is impressive. They are huge, graze on the shallows, eat algae, an unforgettable experience. The sea stormed 2 times, a red flag hung, but we swam in small lagoons on a wild beach - super, like in a bath. There are cons in all hotels, but you should not pay attention to them, in general, I liked everything. Next time, this resort will also be our choice.
