I was with my family from August 21-31.2010, I bought tickets through Corall Travel (ODEON). My wife and I are a little over 35 and our sons are 14 and 3.5 years old. Our first joint family vacation abroad. I read reviews here for a long time, hesitated - but circumstances developed in such a way that we had to buy a ticket here. We rested for 10 days, departure from Kazan. What can I say:

1) Hotel/Rooms: Settled immediately upon arrival 20h. 30 min. Coral Holidays Club, everything is old, but clean, comfortable. The room was given a large 8410 family rooms with a terrace (2 rooms, 1st floor) without surcharges. Towels, sheets in the room "white" changed daily. Plumbing is old but in working order. The bar is filled with Coca Cola, Sprite, Fanta, 2 bottles of mineral water. Every day they brought 2 bottles of mineral water, on the 7th day of Coca Cola, Sprite, Fanta. They cleaned the room every day, cleaning consisted of changing sheets, towels, making the bed, taking out the garbage, holding a rag in the center of the room and washing the bathroom with a bathtub.

Later I saw the Main building room 2 beds + mini sofa, everything is new, but a little cramped. Dune buildings large room, 2 beds + corner with 2 sofas and a table.

The pools are not bad, 4 pieces - one near the Coral Holidays Club 1.4m, the other is large with a depth difference of 0.4 / 1.5 / 0.9m, you can dive and swim for many, next to it is a small children's 0.5m, covered from 0.9m to 1.2m, near it gym. Everything is chlorinated perceptibly, but tolerably. In TIA HEIGHTS, next to the HOLIDAY BUILDINGS zone, a water park is being built on the site of tennis courts, they work quietly, do not interfere with rest. The territory of the hotel itself is very large, green and beautiful. All sorts of figurines from trees / bushes are trimmed, roses and flowers grow, everything is watered, cleaned, palm trees are everywhere. . The sea is clean, the entrance to the sea is uniform, just right for children.
The beach is good for family swimming / sunbathing, there are enough sunbeds for everyone, you can see the corals on the right side of the beach (the coral is small there, you can walk up with children and feed the fish from your hand with bread - they stick around your hand like a glove, even bewitching : ) , a little further on there is still coral in the depths, I'm tired of swimming above them - it's beautiful, there are a lot of fish ! ! ! ). No oil film from the yachts was observed, the yachts were on the sidelines on the pier, but there was no inconvenience from them.

2) Nutrition. 2 free restaurants: Breakfast - the choice is: boiled potatoes, lightly fried, fried soy sausages, scrambled eggs with a mountain of onion / tomato, fried eggs or boiled egg, pancakes, corn flakes, buns, pastries, etc. Lunch - vermicelli soup or beans, rice, horns, mashed potatoes or fries, vegetable stew as a side dish, meat/chicken/fish. Fruits - only melon, apples, pomegranate, dates and grapes, sometimes goava, watermelon, pear, figs. A sea of ​ ​ cakes and pastries.

Drinks: tea, coffee, yupi, cola, fanta, sprite, alcohol and more citrus nectars in the restaurant on the 1st floor. Salads are very spicy, unusual, preferred fresh tomatoes with cucumbers. From 14.00 to 16.00 free delicious ice cream. Well, dinner was not very different from a kebab lunch or some other meat, once they gave crabs (such a muck). Bar-restaurant on the beach from 13.00 to 17.00: french fries, sausages, hot dogs, drinks, alcohol. The food is standard for Egypt, everything is edible, you will not stay hungry. There were a lot of sweets in the form of cakes, this cannot be taken away. Although I immediately authoritatively warn you - that even in a good hotel from local food in 3-4 days you will begin to yearn for borscht, doctor's sausage and pickles - local spices that they stick everywhere - this is something that the Russian tummy never get used to it.

Alcohol was free - wine (white, rose, red), whiskey, rum, gin, vodka, beer (good), but we were little interested in this.
But who wants to get drunk for nothing is quite possible : )

3) Service. The staff is friendly and very smiling. There is an Internet in an Internet cafe - good. But for 10 pounds in 30 minutes (2 USD) - bad. But there are few queues for him - good! ODEON (Coral Travel) - just great guides! It can be seen that they are sincerely ready to help tourists, they only impose an excursion on them to buy. There were problems with air conditioning in one room at 4 o'clock in the morning every day, condensation dripped from it: the reception solved the issue, quickly, after 10 minutes. After calling, they fixed the leak.

Entertainment - For children: there is a playground, a club (slides, old swings), toys are broken, animations are only a mini-disk 30min in the Docker bar, but the child liked it. . hm. . , For adults: show programs were conducted by 3 girls from animation (campaign Ukraine - Kazakhstan) and local Egyptians. When they hosted the show - this is the level of rural KVN, when "wandering artists" - yogis, fakirs - were invited to the show - it was fun. There were 2 such cases in 10 days of rest.
- most often missed : ) Twice there was a paid one - 10 bucks themed and foam party, the rest of the days are free. In the morning and all day long gymnastics, bocha, darts, volleyball, water polo, aqua aerobics, oriental and latin dances.


SUMMARY: The hotel is suitable for relaxation. TIA HEIGHTS MAKADI BAY Coral Holidays Club is a good 4 *, but not like not 5 *. There were many couples under the age of 26-28, and mothers with children - apparently this is just for them. BUT! However, I authoritatively declare that a holiday in TIA HEIGHTS MAKADI BAY is much better than a holiday in Anapa or somewhere in Gelendzhik. Therefore, if you have a choice - the Russian south or TIA HEIGHTS MAKADI BAY - DEFINITELY go here. Sea/air/service/prices here are better than on the Black Sea coast of Russia. .
