This is not my first time in Egypt, but I registered on this site specifically to review this hotel.

So, in order.

I ended up at Stella di Mare Beach Resort & Spa, paradoxically, by accident, since the tour was purchased at the Gardens Hotel, but as of the beginning of August it was closed. Looking ahead, I’ll say that the water park in the Gardens, as well as all the pools (including those with an artificial wave) were open and functioned properly. A shuttle runs between the hotels and what is important - it runs constantly, almost continuously.

We arrived at the hotel around 12 noon and after checking in at the reception we left for lunch.

I won’t talk much about the food at the hotel: it is exceptionally high quality and varied. Indeed, fish, seafood, several types of meat dishes are present at every lunch and dinner, not to mention side dishes, salads and local delicacies. The choice of sweets is overabundant, and for every taste and size of the stomach.

Pleasantly surprised by the service staff. Even in these cruel and crisis times, the hotel owners obviously do not save on staff; training, attention to the requests of guests, courtesy and courtesy of the guys at a high level. Neither I nor other guests of the hotel with whom I spoke noticed any hints of extortion of tips or other monetized gratitude. The assortment of various dishes was constantly supplemented with the freshest and most delicious pastries (and I know a lot about it), pastas, pizzas, deep fats, etc. cooked directly in front of the client. Often in such cases, people write: "You won't go hungry. " In this case, I would say that you will not have a chance to remain not satiated even if you have chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract; in the main restaurant of the hotel there is a sufficient choice of dietary dishes and baby food.

The hotel grounds are well maintained.
Pools, beach, rooms and public areas are thoroughly cleaned, cleaned and disinfected. A separate mention is worthy of a pool with an artificial wave, as well as a water park. Each pool has its own bar with coffee, soft drinks and good quality juices. On the beach, soft and low-alcohol drinks are brought to the guests by the bartenders themselves.

The beach is long and wide. There is plenty of space and, as the old-timers say, even in pre-crisis times there were never problems with free sunbeds. The sea and reef are beautiful. Of the marine inhabitants, in addition to a huge variety of fish, I personally saw turtles, and stingrays of two different species, and a moray eel sitting at a depth under the pontoon. Here, many people compare the reef with Sharm al-Sheikh, but as for me, the comparison is incorrect here, since these are different reefs in terms of coastline morphology and in Makadi Bay it is unique in its own way!
