We rested in September 2010. Rested three of us with my husband and child (3 years). They were in Egypt for the first time (previously they were in Tunisia and Turkey). The hotel does not qualify for five stars in all respects.
The area is great! Large, there is where to walk in the evening. Several pools of different depths. Two children's pools. Free sunbeds could be found at any time of the day and by the pools and on the beach. The pools are clean, everything is well maintained, the bars in the pools also liked.
The animation was inconspicuous, but my daughter willingly stayed in the miniclub with the girl animator, although she did not speak Russian at all, that is, she had contact with the children even without a language. Evening shows passed us by (or we passed them). Children's disco as everywhere. In the evenings, they preferred to walk along the beach, around the hotel. My daughter loves to play on the golf course with a tennis ball.

It is convenient that almost on the territory of the hotel there are many souvenir shops. Moreover, the farther the shops are from the entrance, the less arrogant the sellers are and the prices do not bend (for comparison, children's armlets in the first store from the entrance cost $ 12, but I bought exactly the same ones in the store further away for $ 4).
The only disappointing thing was the food. We chose the hotel very carefully so that there were no negative reviews about the quality of the food. Well, they were not mistaken about the quality - everything is clean, they have never been poisoned. BUT, the variety is imaginary. That is, yesterday's salad + today's salad + yesterday's salad mixed with today's salad = three different salads. The baked goods were not good at all. In the morning, at lunch and dinner, desserts are somehow empty. The cake is a dry biscuit shortbread slightly smeared with icing on top, cakes are the same.
The grill deserves special attention. Of course it's very good that the grill every day and every day something different BUT almost always unbaked!! ! That the fish is fried on top and raw inside, that the meat, after which a visit to the dentist is required. My daughter ate mostly pasta with sauce and french fries and, of course, fruit.
The bars prepare good cocktails, including milkshakes for children.
I still do not recommend visiting the spa there. Maybe for some it seems like a spa center, but in my opinion one name. I wanted to go for a peeling, but I was persuaded to some kind of course consisting supposedly of several massages, saunas and all that, I don’t remember what it’s all called. One session cost $60. I really regretted that I agreed, it's not worth it! In Turkey, the prices were cheaper, and the quality was many times better. They gave me several masks, supposedly a massage (the girl just stroked it with her hands for 5 minutes), smeared it with something like coconut flakes with salt - this is a type of peeling. But there is nothing from peeling, just smeared and washed off. In short, if you go there, it is better to go to similar procedures in your home country for a lower price and with better quality.
In general, not bad, but it can be better (comparing with Turkey and Tunisia) : )
