All inclusive in Egyptian....

Written: 10 march 2010
Travel time: 3 — 9 march 2010
Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For a relaxing holiday; For families with children
I agree with the negative reviews about this hotel, it does not deserve attention. Rested from 03/03/2010 to 03/09/2010.
Of the pluses, only a beautiful territory and a more or less clear sea for Hurghada can be noted - however, the corals are dead - there is practically nothing to see - there are few living creatures - entering the sea is actually tedious and painful. Of the minuses - rudeness, arrogance and shamelessness of the Arabs (well, this is everywhere in Egypt - especially where Russians live), disgusting food - they normally feed only in a paid fish restaurant - where we ate - $ 30 per person on average, the threat of theft (with us at the hotel, winter shoes were stolen from a man’s room). Linen is not really changed until you give a tip (there was no change at first).
Having ordered a taxi for a trip to Hurghada and paid $ 30 - we barely left back, as the driver did not want to drive, motivating us to owe him another $ 10.

We went there for 5 days - for the March holiday - and were initially ready for "Egypt", tried to pay better than get free "cheese", but even this in many cases did not save us from the vile attitude of the Arabs. By the way - if you have a standard and you want a normal room closer to the sea - then be sure that $ 20 will definitely come in handy for you - do not agree to immediately pay for deluxe or ultra + - it makes no sense - it's easier to give a bribe.
I can tell a lot, but I don’t want to be accused of snobbery - believe me, there is something to compare with - I traveled quite a lot of countries and also lived abroad - but you rarely see such an attitude towards Russians....
However, a lot depends on the hotel - in this hotel we are considered "Russian cattle" and treated accordingly. Last year I was in Taba - the attitude is equally correct towards all nations, but here there is a strict ranking according to the ownership of passports.
Until we Russians start to respect ourselves and ignore such places, but we wake up chasing "freebies", the attitude towards us will be appropriate. By the way, I want to note that the behavior of foreigners does not differ much in good manners - they allow themselves to go to dinner in a T-shirt and beach shorts at the age of under 70-80 years (men as a rule) - which at least causes a gag reflex, it is their grandmothers who sunbathe topless everywhere and loudly swear on the beach. However, for the Arabs, these are people of the “1st grade”, and we are the “2nd”…. . as they say, there is something to think about…
PS: By the way, I forgot to add about the flies that pounce on you on the beach - so you feel like honey, or....depending on the number of these insects. And also be restrained on excursions - for example, in Luxor - they are bred for yellow and red tea - you can buy it much cheaper when you stop near the "real papyrus factory" - carefully ask the merchants, but buy handicrafts more carefully where the guides will bring you - not only that what is more expensive than the street vendors that will come next - it’s also not made of stone, but a Chinese fake made of plastic alloys...
