So, for the 9th time in Egypt and for the first time - in Makadi Bay.
The purpose of the trip is, as always, snorkeling with photography.
For this, a hotel was needed with its own coral reef, so that there was a place to swim and not depend on the corresponding trips.
Briefly from what was remembered and on the basis of a mobile phone spoken to the recorder.
Accommodation.
They offered to stay in building No. 5 - about 300 meters from the main building towards the checkpoint (next to the tennis court).
At first there were doubts, but agreed - and did not regret it!
Very quiet and pleasant place - no drunken hubbub, you can sleep peacefully!
Room cleaning and linen change daily and without tips (left only on the day of departure).
A bus runs regularly between the building and the main building - at any time of the day, I never waited more than 5 minutes!
Nutrition.
Quite decent.

In addition to the set of dishes traditional for Egyptian hotels, every day there were dishes of some national cuisine (the waiters were dressed accordingly to the country represented). I remember juicy and very tasty fish fillet in sauce - I have never eaten anything like this in Egypt anywhere and ever!
I asked the bartender - he said that this fish is called "sea bass".
Drinking water.
I singled it out separately, since I meet such a system in hotels for the first time in 10 years of travel. Bottled water is left in the refrigerator on the day of arrival. In the remaining days, a machine with hot and cold drinking water is at your service, which is located on the floor of the building (in my case, No. 5).
Internet.
Very expensive - 10 euros / hour.
Wireless access is possible, but you have to buy immediately for a week (I don’t remember the price).
Snorkeling.
Descent into the water from 2 ladders of the pier.
Probably not very convenient for women and children.
But for me it's not a problem.
It would be worse if you had to stomp in shallow water to reach the coral wall.
The place for snorkeling is good, but everything was spoiled by the wind!
Minuses:
weak animation, stupid DJ and bartender in the Lobby bar (I didn’t remember his name, with an eternally dissatisfied muzzle).
To summarize:
I assume that in Egypt there are no hotels with impeccable service.
With this in mind - by my standards, perhaps the best hotel in Egypt, where I have ever been!
