I want to say right away for those who travel to Egypt for the sake of the sea, that Al Nabila Grand is your hotel!
Al Nabila Grand - a new hotel, on the virgin coast of the Red Sea, completes the chain of hotels in the Makadi area.
He attracted me primarily by the price and photographs of tourists who had been there. And although the reviews were conflicting, I felt that it was worth going there, and I was not mistaken.
The first pleasant surprise is the sea! In this hotel it is for every taste - there is a sandy beach with a gentle entrance, there are magnificent corals, a wonderful fairy-tale underwater world, there is a rocky section of the coast where the waves will wash over you; a bay in which there are practically no waves, but there is also an open sea where the waves foam and boil. Ships are forbidden to swim in the bay and only windsurfers and catamarans cut the waves, frightening swimmers in masks.

If you go to Egypt during the windy season, then know that in this hotel you can always swim without suffering from the waves.
In the neighboring hotel, in two weeks, only a few times people were allowed into the sea from the pier, while in our place both children and adults swam in the bay, protected from the wind, for days on end!

A huge territory with a hint of landscaping, although if you move away from the building, you will plunge into a real desert. We walked along the coast, untouched by the human hand, and could not see anyone for hours. Huge boulders near the sea, like enchanted animals - one is the spitting image of a lion, the other is a giant fish, like mystical creatures from a distant past, guarding the coast. Very beautiful photos are taken near the rocks, when the wave breaks up with thousands of splashes and douses you from head to toe. You can dig into the sand and take a picture against the backdrop of the vast ocean of the desert, like a traveler who has gone astray. If you are not too lazy and climb the steep hill in front of the hotel, then you will see the whole bay, the whole hotel, in full view, from the sea.
The food is edible, but monotonous, there were always fruits, mostly oranges (very tasty), grapefruits, bananas, melons, dates, rarely watermelons and strawberries. Draft honey, jams, yogurt is very similar to homemade, baked and raw vegetables. Very tasty cheeses, it is felt that they are natural. Rice, pasta, potatoes. We don't eat meat - but we saw something happened : -). There are always a lot of pastries, rolls, cakes, although I tried them once or twice, they are delicious. Juices from packages, tea, except for black, also aniseed and mint. Anise helps digestion - I recommend it, I only drank it. Ice cream, Nestle (delicious), free of charge from 15-00 to 17-00 in the Italian restaurant. I don’t know what kind of alcohol, I don’t drink, but it seems that everything local is free, but there is simply no other.

Animation is mainly for Italians, and there are also cool evening programs for children.

Volleyball on the beach is super, a good company has crept up, table tennis - two tables, billiards, two tables - all for free.
Two tennis courts are free, but racket and ball rental is 5 euros per hour. Gym brand new - free of charge. The sauna is already open, but I didn't go there.
Separately, I want to note that the hotel has a huge hall, where there is an Italian restaurant and table tennis, billiards and an artificial river with bridges. In the heat it is cool there, but in the wind it is not cold. Everything is made in the form of rocks with greenery, very beautiful and comfortable, there is where to hang out in comfort.

Guide Teztura Hamdi fully justifies the first 3 letters of his name. Excursions are expensive. And he drives such a blizzard to other companies, they say you will not return alive. IN ADDITION TO THE SAME ABOUT INSURANCE THE Noodles are hung on the ears. Type only they have you insured. In addition, during the settlement, he strove to knock down money from us, we defended our interests for two hours, in the end we ourselves took a normal number at the reception. He even called us enemies, after all. Well, that's his problem.
From the hotel to Hurghada, a bus runs by appointment for $ 7.5 per person. The hotel has shops, but the prices there are more expensive than in Hurghada, although if you buy small things, then given the travel to Hurghada, it is profitable to buy at the hotel.

We went on an excursion to Cairo and Alexandria - the same program as Teztour, plus we had a dinner on a ship with a cruise on the evening Nile for 2 hours, which Teztour does not have - and paid only $ 100 against $ 150 from the tour operator. The bus is the same Mercedes with air conditioning and a toilet, the difference is only in price. Our guide was Lucy from Moscow, she told us very interestingly and outside the box. Nobody missed her. In the Cairo Museum, the most interesting thing on the second floor is things from the tomb of Tutankhamun. His mask, sarcophagi and all the utensils. You can enter the pyramid without fear, and it is interesting to visit inside a million-ton structure, you immediately understand how insignificant you are in this world, like an ant near a mountain.
Inside, despite the prohibitions, you can take pictures if you carry a flat camera in your pocket for $ 1 baksheesh. Alexandria is a large and beautiful city built in the Mediterranean style. The Egyptians affectionately call him Alex. Favorite vacation spot of the Egyptians. Since in summer it is cooler here than on the shores of the Red Sea. The city of Alexander the Great is still flourishing, and even though the new Alexandrian library is made of plastic and metal, and a Muslim fortress made of lighthouse stones flaunts on the site of the lighthouse, the spirit of grandeur and historical significance still hovers over the city. Very beautiful royal park on the Mediterranean coast, and royal palaces. It will be possible to swim in the sea, however, in March it was cool - you can’t sit for more than 5 minutes.
We also went to the monasteries of St. Anthony and Paul on an individual tour. The abbot himself took us around the monastery, and we spoke with him for a long time in English, but it was also possible through a guide in Russian.
All excursions were organized by Ibrahim, who became our friend. He works with the guys from the local agency Saif Tours. Very responsible guys, they organize everything at the highest level and, most importantly, their prices are very cheap. To get acquainted, you can order a free sightseeing tour of the city and plan excursions in person.
By the way, a call from a mobile phone to Ukraine costs only about 4.5 pounds, and locally up to 50 piastres, $1 = 5.46 pounds, and piastres are a cop. The cheapest operator in Hurghada.

Have a nice holiday!!!
