At half 10 in the morning we stood at the reception, but the super friendly staff said how they cut off - check-in at 14.00, our whole hotel is busy (feeling a catch here too), I say that I work in tourism and the hotel was very praised by my tourists, I didn’t think that you don’t need tourists at all))) The manager realized that he went too far, but it’s also not in his rules to give up, he says that once in tourism, I let you eat for now, but come up to 12, the room is being cleaned for now)))) Having eaten and bathed, received the keys, opened the door and saw a royal room, compared to all the hotels in Egypt that we managed to visit (booked a junior suite). The bathroom has 3 rooms (a toilet, a bathroom with a shower and a washroom with two washbasins, a huge sleeping area and a relaxation area. And what is the size of the balcony? This is a whole room in terms of area. In the bathroom, all accessories are shampoo, balm, gel shower, body cream, hair cap. Towels and bed linen of very good quality, there was a lack of a bathrobe. they are changed to clean ones. Always meeting, he asked if we were satisfied with the cleaning. The hotel has one main restaurant and several bars that work at different times, it’s impossible to remember everything, upon check-in you will be given detailed information in the booklet, also guests of Makadi Spa can use all the restaurants on the territory of the complex, which includes 5 hotels around, we have them there was no time to walk, and the quality of drinks in the neighboring ones was worse than in ours, so there was no desire to even go somewhere to eat... We always had breakfast in the main, dined in a restaurant on the second floor overlooking the whole of Makadi Bay. Beach and reef
To the pontoon, go along the promenade along the two hotels, it’s about 5-7 minutes at a leisurely pace, the pontoon is long, the reef is beautiful, in addition to the usual Egyptian fish, we saw rays and a huge 2-meter moray eel, we didn’t catch the turtles . . we swam both towards Madinat Makadi and towards our hotel, it seemed to us that if you enter directly from our beach and swim across the corals, here is the best reef, definitely better than Sharmovsky, closer to the pier the reef is worse, be sure to wear coral slippers, I don’t know how Europe enters, I saw them more near the pool, but the entrance from the shores are broken legs, be very careful. 3. Nutrition. Everything is cooked on the grill. Dried out and over-peppered terribly. Fruit is also a problem.
4. Alcohol. Warm beer is the norm. The bar at the main pool (and not only it) is paid. As a result, it is always empty (prices are the same as in Radisson Sochi). Bottom line: free, often warm beer by the pools until 17-00. In the evening, alcohol in the Vanilla bar. (You won’t figure out the rest of the nooks called bars and buffets)
5. Dust is everywhere in the corridors and on the wooden carnage (and there are many of them). Many have clogged sinks.
There is no glass in some places in the windows of the corridor. Little greenery in the territory.

Taking into account the previous trip, a hotel of the category "only adults 18+" was chosen. We stopped at Makadi Spa. Tour operator Biblioglobus, carrier Transaero.
Apparently the stars on this trip favored us, so almost the entire vacation we were pursued by small pleasant bonuses.
The first bonus is a plane on a flight to Hurghada B777. Instead of B767, on schedule. A very rare bird in our Siberian regions. Grandiose construction! One of its advantages is high flight speed. For almost the entire flight, the navigator showed speeds far beyond 900 km/h. The result was a fairly comfortable flight duration of 7 hours 40 minutes.
Upon arrival, visas for $ 25 from the nose, passport control, luggage and on the bus.
The second bonus is a small bus. There are only 9 of us in it. We are not waiting for anyone and we are on our way. Forty minutes later we arrived at the Red Sea Hotels complex. Makadi Spa was just me and my wife.
The third bonus is accommodation. We arrived at the hotel at 11:50. Filling out the questionnaire, a bracelet (I just want to say - a collar! ), A brief briefing with a memo in your native language and in the room.
The fourth bonus is a number. Many people write that Russians are accommodated on the "zero" floor of this hotel. In fact, he is second. We also got room 6163. This is the third floor and the penultimate room along the corridor, towards the sea. With a corner, open balcony overlooking the sea.
We were not charged any money for early check-in or for the room. Only standard tips.
The room is decent. Two zone. With normal lighting, and not the usual twilight for hotels. TV, safe, refrigerator. Good bathroom. No bath, only shower. Closet for clothes of open type, without doors. It's unusual, it's all over the place. Beach towels in the room, in a beach bag.
Change of beach towels. In the evening, around 18:00, leave wet clothes at the door to your room. Outside. With or without a bag. You will change them. If you leave it in the bag, then the clean ones will also be left in the bag at the door. If you leave without a bag, then the clean ones will be brought to the room.
Cleaning. There is no system in this. They can clean up before lunch, or maybe in the late afternoon. And it does not depend on your presence or absence in the room. Well, "money" is certainly welcome.
Beach. With a Makadi Spa bracelet, you can access the pools and beaches of the nearby Makadi Palace, Grand Makadi and Sunwing Makadi. Despite the fact that from about six o'clock in the morning itching begins to occupy sunbeds, there are always free sunbeds. We came after nine and there were always free sunbeds. Makadi Spa has a small piece of its own beach. Guests of other hotels are not allowed on it. I myself witnessed the expulsion from the Makadi Spa beach of the wearer of a bracelet of a different color. At Makadi Spa, the bracelet is grey-silver.
The pontoon is located at the Grand Makadi Hotel. To the left along the sea, about ten minutes at a very slow pace. Deep. Beautiful, but not enough living creatures. We liked the descent into the sea just to the right of the Makadi Spa beach. Passages through the coral are marked with ropes with buoys. Comfortable to call these passages language does not turn. However, you quickly get used to it. Swimming shoes are required.
Fauna. There are a lot of fish! Various. We saw stingrays almost every day. A sort of frying pan with a handle! We saw a moray once. Not very big. A meter and a half long. Although water increases. But it's still scary. The fish are simply uncountable. Especially if you violate one of the prohibitions.
Food. Above all praise. And breakfast and lunch and dinner. In addition, cafes and restaurants with a Makadi Spa bracelet can go to all neighboring hotels. I repeat - beyond praise!
Territory. Very big. Green.
It should be noted that the majority of vacationers in Makadi Spa are older. Youth certainly meets, but very little. Because most vacationers smile at each other and greet each other when they meet, we can conclude that there are almost no compatriots. Well, there are no children, because only adults are 18+.
Dress code. This also has a certain plus. In the evening in the restaurant, the vast majority of ladies in evening dresses. Hairstyles, outfits, gold and stones. They look jealously at each other's outfits and jewelry. In a word - pleasing to the eye! Of course, men are simpler, but nevertheless there are no frank chmyrdyaev in beach shorts.
If you want the staff to rustle around your table, don't be greedy. One dollar will not ruin you, but the waiter will be happy and you will feel much more comfortable.
Shopping. On the territory there are various shops with souvenirs and beach and bathing accessories. There is also a pharmacy and an ATM. There is, so to speak, a shopping center with the proud name of Makadi Mall.
The fifth bonus is complex. This is a small shuttle bus to the airport. This is the absence of a queue at the entrance to the airport and the complete absence of a queue at the check-in counters. This landing and takeoff minute by minute. True, the plane is already B767, but it can be infinitely good only in fairy tales. B777 on the flight to Hurghada, it was clearly a super bonus from Transaero.
That is, the forehead clearly began to get used to it and the blow with the rake was no longer felt so painful.
From what, to put it mildly, I didn’t like it, or at least left me at a loss, these are very cold pools.
General conclusion. The hotel is very good. You can rest in Egypt. Not as comfortable as in Southeast Asia, but you can find your own rest algorithm.
Certainly respect Biblioglobus and Transaero.
Check-in with a slight hitch, at first they gave room 6303 (3rd floor, far wing) with a good view of the Grand and the sea, but with a broken elevator.
After the request, they changed it without problems to 6331 (with 3 elevators in the central part of the building), since the rooms were there. Thanks to the Russian-speaking employee at the reception. There are a few tourists from the Russian Federation in the hotel. Mostly Europe. As it turned out, the Europeans also have cattle (the Germans excelled). The hotel itself is small, but you can freely move around the Grand, Palace and Sunwing (the most beautiful hotel in this four)
The food is excellent (breakfast and dinner), it's a pity there is no buffet for lunch, but there are a lot of restaurants and "snacks", as well as the possibility of eating in any of the above hotels (except Sunving). The main problem in Spa restaurants is the menu in English and the lack of waiters who understand Russian. But in general the atmosphere is pleasant. There is no difference in the quality of service between Russian and European tourists. On the contrary, the waiters said (who could) that the Russians are not so demanding and do not immediately run to complain, unlike from Europeans.
The sea..... the spa does not have a sea! You need to spank to the Sanvinga beach (there are also umbrellas and spa loungers). But even there you can get to depths of 40-100 meters. Good for children. There are a lot of inhabitants of the underwater world.
It makes no sense to go to Makadi Spa (overpay), there are no children, but a drunken army from the old world is no better, as it turned out, Sunwing is much more interesting with its water park, territory and beach.
