As a family, we usually fly to Turkish resorts every year, but this year, due to the sharp rise in prices for Turkey, we decided to visit Egypt for the first time. Of course, this is a clear contrast, although we did not expect too much, but still the difference was felt in everything. I'll start with the saddest thing, this is the number of rooms. We arrived early, it's good that we settled quickly and without delay and surcharges. We booked a room overlooking the pool, but after the first night we asked to be relocated and given at least a second floor. The feeling was that we were sleeping on the entrance street, the noise and animation did not let us fall asleep, as we were exhausted on the first day, and we wanted to sleep. We were moved to a quiet place overlooking the garden. The location itself turned out to be better, but the room with far from new furniture, the furnishings are old, but at least everything worked. Towels were changed every day, bed linen a couple of times, cleaning is rather poor, tolerable, but a stretch. I understand that in this country they simply don’t know how to clean, or they don’t want to learn. They moved with a cloth, swept away the dust in prominent places, well, okay. For cleaning I put a minus, but otherwise quite good service and attitude towards guests at the hotel. They didn’t take money for changing the room, they extended the room until late in the evening without any problems, the waiters and bartenders are smiling, they cope with their tasks. At the reception, too, there was no misunderstanding, they always helped in any way they could. But here the guide from the tour operator at the hotel is simply not needed, you can’t say otherwise. It is not possible to find out any information, only the sale of excursions at very inflated prices. We wanted to see a lot, but we took not from him, but from a local guide. There are also some nutritional deficiencies, and especially in drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Juices were only packaged, and those that we did not see how they were poured had a strong taste of bleach and were powdery in taste. You can only buy fresh juices, and a glass costs 3 euros. We drank only wine from alcohol, and it’s better to take red, we didn’t like white at all. Stronger drinks are only so called, all alcohol is local and of the appropriate quality. You can also buy imported, but he did not impress us either. The food is pretty good, and if anything, you can go to a few a la carte. Our child has already grown up a little, so it was easier with food, but still not the abundance and quality that we are already so used to. Although both fish and meat have always been in good quality and quantity. Vegetables, fruits, everything is fresh, although it took a couple of days to get used to the local taste and spices. But the waiters were great, they saw us off and found a free table, brought the ordered drinks, and cleaned the dishes and cutlery on time, and not intrusively at all. From the liked beach and the sea itself, it is wonderful. You will have to walk to the beach for 5-7 minutes, but along a pleasant shady alley. The entrance is gentle and sandy, we swam without fear of cutting our feet, there is also a beautiful reef, a lot of fish and other living creatures, there is something to stare at, of course, in no comparison with the Mediterranean Sea. The territory is also well-groomed, a lot of greenery, clean pools, and an excellent water park, the whole family rode. In general, they were satisfied with the rest, but nevertheless, in terms of quality, it is much inferior to the same Turkey, so next time we will not fly here soon.
