But if you are expecting a disco with wild dances - you are not here, the vast majority of hotel guests are foreigners, mostly Germans, family and seniors. So if you are looking for a youth hotel with discos - this is not your option.

The area is well-groomed and landscaped, beautiful as a park. There are enough sunbeds for everyone, there was almost no swimming in the pool, the water was cool.
Sea - the hotel is in the second line, we were with a child and a stroller - the distance to the beach was not stressful at all. The road to the beach goes through a green alley, so it was even fun to walk.
The beach is clean, sand. Occupancy of beds up to 11 hours is about 80 percent. The sandy and shallow sunset is perfect for kids. There was no strong ebb. Corals with fish are also available, you can go to the beach of the neighboring hotel tea hates, there are many of them and variety. There is a bar with drinks and snacks on the beach.
Of the minuses, I can only say about the check-in - we arrived approximately at 5 am, before settling in the room you have to wait 4 hours, rather - for the money. That's what everyone was waiting for. Drinks and pastries are offered in the lobby, and the restaurant is closed to the public.

We rested as a family, we and two children 10.12 years old, the second half of January. The cost for four for 7 nights is $ 1400 + $ 100 - a water park in the neighboring Jaz Aquaviva hotel. Min. the price of a similar tour was noted in February - $ 1150, max. in summer - $ 2400, without a water park. Hotel 4 stars, information from the hotel. The hotel was chosen for a long time, the rating was 8, and they were not mistaken (by the way, now - 9! ). Vacationers are mostly Germans (90%): elderly German couples and families with small children, the rest: locals, French, ours, mostly families. We went for the first time, I’ll write as it would be interesting for myself before choosing a hotel (experienced Egyptologists may also be interested : ).
SETTLEMENT
Half an hour drive from the airport. We arrived at 9:00 am and were told to check in at 11:00 am. They did not offer to speed up the settlement, we did not ask. We walked around the area and settled in.
ROOM
The sites offered Family Room and Junior Suite. When booking, we stopped at the Family Room with a wish - a quiet place and a sliding door (you will find out in the photo). Upon arrival, the room was in a quiet location, but not zoned. The receptionist said that the desired format is a Delux Family Room and costs $20 more per day, noting that this information is listed on their website. I did not look for this information on the site, and later I did not find it, in short - they did not insist. The site, by the way, informs that “rooms with an interconnecting door are available upon prior request, depending on the availability of rooms of this category. ” I will clarify that these are not two-room suites, as noted in some comments, just zoning with a door or curtains. Anyway, the provided room tripled us. In general, there are zero complaints about the hotel, apparently this is some kind of overlay in the presentation of information.
The shower room is clean, with properly working plumbing. The air conditioner worked great and quiet. Soundproofing: with the next room is good, the neighbors were a couple of days and quiet; with a corridor - worse, you could hear the workers (they were redecorating neighboring rooms). The furniture is high quality, comfortable, actually new). TV: 3-4 Russian and Ukrainian channels. The balcony was closed tightly, plus blackout curtains, if desired, it created absolute darkness and silence even during the day.
Drinks in the minibar are paid, we asked, they were removed. There was no cosmetics in the shower, we asked - brought. Cleaning is daily, of high quality, the replacement of beach towels is daily, they were constantly interested in what else was needed, all requests were fulfilled immediately, calmly and politely. We asked to contact us at any time (if we do not have time, for example, with the replacement of beach towels before 17.00). Since the quality of cleaning was already impeccable, two days later they left $ 1 exclusively as a thank you, they took it away. Free Wi-Fi in the room is weak, the connection is unstable, it was better to catch it on the balcony, which overlooked the bar and pool. A stable signal was at the reception and by the pools, and apparently in the rooms as close as possible to these places. For maximum freedom in this regard, it is better to purchase a local operator, which we will do next time. Mosquitoes and other insects did not disturb. Given the season, a couple of times they turned on the air conditioner for heating in the evening.
CATERING (main restaurant El Hambra)
The food is impeccable. Variety of meat/fish dishes, side dishes, desserts and drinks. Grill in the evening. At the table cake from the tandoor. Desserts were liked by my wife and children, probably they didn’t try everything. The restaurant staff is very attentive and polite. Knowledge of languages: German, English is excellent, Russian - within basic phrases, something more, they ask to switch to English or call someone more understanding. They respond to requests instantly, at least 3-4 times for a meal, the waiters, the manager come up with various questions, whether everything suits us (at first it even tired me). Since the hotel was no more than half full, there were no queues or problems with places. It’s not a problem to take food to the children’s room, in the evening you will return the dishes, they go to a meeting in everything. Beautiful birthday greetings. An interesting detail, every morning the Germans are given information on the table with a brief overview of the press (Good morning news auf Deutsch), with information about the entertainment programs for the day, today's birthdays, etc. On the third day we asked why we were passing by, unfortunately they said no in Russian , we asked for the sake of interest, brought regularly.
BAR ON THE BEACH (food court)
I've been working since 10:30. There are plenty of seats at the bar, but I took my food to the tables by the sun loungers. A fairy tale for fast food lovers: shawarma (pitta), hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, fries, salads, fruits, sweets - everything is delicious and of high quality. This location is unbeatable.
Waiters with fresh juices ($ 2) baroir along the beach, ordered - excellent. Nearby is a paid bar/restaurant with dishes within the range of 6-8 dollars.
POOL BAR
“Our” worked until 19.00 (more “optimistic” information on the site), during the season it can actually go until midnight. The guys are polite, but perhaps slower than in the main restaurant. Basic knowledge of English within simple phrases saved the situation. They didn’t ask for services, you won’t call, they won’t “disturb”. Closer to closing - 19.00 relaxed at all, there is no bartender, the cleaner polishes the bar and does not shine. German pensioners, it should be noted, pampered the guys with “tips”, which significantly improved their mood and pumped their quickness.
LOBBY BAR
This one did work until the “last client”. Basically: companies for beer / wine were cut into cards in the evening. Bartenders are fluent in German, English and Russian within professional terminology : ). The waiters are moderately attentive, they don’t “get bored”, you need to “add” - you yourself go to the bar. Alcohol: beer - very light, light, good quality; a couple of times I took a gin / tonic, quite acceptable, wine of the “domestic” level in tetra packs. Poured into plastic non-disposable 250 gram glasses. In general, there are no complaints about drinks. Some from “our race” were insured in Duty Free, which, in principle, is quite justified.
STAFF
Exceptionally polite, attentive and correct. Even in the face of language barriers, they try to understand and please you. In our case, only the guy at the reception spoke clearly in Russian, when he was not there, we had to turn on the Anglo-German surzhik, depending on who / what he understood. The rest of the staff, if you're lucky. That's who skillfully bombed and chattered in "Russian" : ), so it's the sellers of excursions on the beach! ).
We didn't get to meet the guide, we just forgot. I left a note at the number with contact details, there was no reason to contact, we never met (.
TERRITORY
The location of the hotel is the closest to Luxor, so the travel time on long excursions is minimal. The area is huge with stunning landscaping. Nonstop cleaning. What is interesting is that there are even wide paths and gentle ramps everywhere, which is convenient for mothers with strollers and people with disabilities. We saw Germans with very old parents in wheelchairs, which probably speaks for itself.

The beach is in the bay, since January 14, we have had a green flag for three days, two - yellow, one - red, when it was really cold to swim. Sun loungers are in excellent condition, aluminum frame with good mesh. There are always workers on the beach who are ready to help with all this farming. Swimming pools - one large heated and play areas: gates, mesh. The children liked it very much.
AQUAPARK
Only got it once in a week. A stunning building, the largest in the Hurghada region. Of the nuances: the snack bar is far away, 3-5 minutes walk; included: food - pasta, pizza, soft drinks. It was probably possible to order something for a fee at a local bar nearby, did not try.
ENTERTAINMENT/ANIMATION
The animation chief is just amazingly sociable person. We visited a couple of evening programs, incl. with kids, fun, great. The waiters are attentive, plus adults are constantly offered something to drink : ) In the season, it’s probably fun there.
THE SHOPS
There are a lot of shops on the territory of the Jaz hotel group, prices, due to some remoteness of the hotels, may be slightly higher, but nevertheless, we stocked up with a lot of souvenirs within 1-2 USD per unit. Of the probably essential, all beach accessories from corals to masks are available, all beach cosmetics are in the pharmacy, in a word, if something is forgotten, it is decided on the first day.
EXCURSIONS
They were not interested in hotel offers, ordered via the Internet and went to Luxor, but this is a different story. On the beach, they mainly offer buggies / quad bikes in the desert ($ 80-120) and a parachute with surf (did not notice another local business). Who cares - go to the ATV parking lot to the north of the complex, maybe there is a different situation; ).
There were plans to go to Hurghada. The hotel is located away from the highway, an acceptable option is a bus from the hotel. Takes away after lunch and brings to dinner (14.30-17.30), or after dinner (19.30-23.30). The cost of a round trip ticket is 6€. There are taxis on the territory of the Jaz hotel group, they were not interested in prices. Due to lack of time, we did not have time to go.
In general - we want to return, that's all! Highly recommended for families with children. No matter how strange it may sound, who wants a “not our” environment, you really need to come here.

SETTLEMENT
Half an hour drive from the airport. We arrived at 9:00 am and were told to check in at 11:00 am. They did not offer to speed up the settlement, we did not ask. We walked around the area and settled in.
ROOM
The sites offered Family Room and Junior Suite. When booking, we stopped at the Family Room with a wish - a quiet place and a sliding door (you will find out in the photo). Upon arrival, the room was in a quiet location, but not zoned. The receptionist said that the desired format is a Delux Family Room and costs $20 more per day, noting that this information is listed on their website. I did not look for this information on the site, and later I did not find it, in short - they did not insist. The site, by the way, informs that “rooms with an interconnecting door are available upon prior request, depending on the availability of rooms of this category. ” I will clarify that these are not two-room suites, as noted in some comments, just zoning with a door or curtains. Anyway, the provided room tripled us. In general, there are zero complaints about the hotel, apparently this is some kind of overlay in the presentation of information.
The shower room is clean, with properly working plumbing. The air conditioner worked great and quiet. Soundproofing: with the next room is good, the neighbors were a couple of days and quiet; with a corridor - worse, you could hear the workers (they were redecorating neighboring rooms). The furniture is high quality, comfortable, actually new). TV: 3-4 Russian and Ukrainian channels. The balcony was closed tightly, plus blackout curtains, if desired, it created absolute darkness and silence even during the day.
Drinks in the minibar are paid, we asked, they were removed. There was no cosmetics in the shower, we asked - brought. Cleaning is daily, of high quality, the replacement of beach towels is daily, they were constantly interested in what else was needed, all requests were fulfilled immediately, calmly and politely. We asked to contact us at any time (if we do not have time, for example, with the replacement of beach towels before 17.00). Since the quality of cleaning was already impeccable, two days later they left $ 1 exclusively as a thank you, they took it away. Free Wi-Fi in the room is weak, the connection is unstable, it was better to catch it on the balcony, which overlooked the bar and pool. A stable signal was at the reception and by the pools, and apparently in the rooms as close as possible to these places. For maximum freedom in this regard, it is better to purchase a local operator, which we will do next time. Mosquitoes and other insects did not disturb. Given the season, a couple of times they turned on the air conditioner for heating in the evening.
CATERING (main restaurant El Hambra)
The food is impeccable. Variety of meat/fish dishes, side dishes, desserts and drinks. Grill in the evening. At the table cake from the tandoor. Desserts were liked by my wife and children, probably they didn’t try everything. The restaurant staff is very attentive and polite. Knowledge of languages: German, English is excellent, Russian - within basic phrases, something more, they ask to switch to English or call someone more understanding. They respond to requests instantly, at least 3-4 times for a meal, the waiters, the manager come up with various questions, whether everything suits us (at first it even tired me). Since the hotel was no more than half full, there were no queues or problems with places. It’s not a problem to take food to the children’s room, in the evening you will return the dishes, they go to a meeting in everything. Beautiful birthday greetings. An interesting detail, every morning the Germans are given information on the table with a brief overview of the press (Good morning news auf Deutsch), with information about the entertainment programs for the day, today's birthdays, etc. On the third day we asked why we were passing by, unfortunately they said no in Russian , we asked for the sake of interest, brought regularly.
BAR ON THE BEACH (food court)
I've been working since 10:30. There are plenty of seats at the bar, but I took my food to the tables by the sun loungers. A fairy tale for fast food lovers: shawarma (pitta), hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, fries, salads, fruits, sweets - everything is delicious and of high quality. This location is unbeatable.
Waiters with fresh juices ($ 2) baroir along the beach, ordered - excellent. Nearby is a paid bar/restaurant with dishes within the range of 6-8 dollars.
POOL BAR
“Our” worked until 19.00 (more “optimistic” information on the site), during the season it can actually go until midnight. The guys are polite, but perhaps slower than in the main restaurant. Basic knowledge of English within simple phrases saved the situation. They didn’t ask for services, you won’t call, they won’t “disturb”. Closer to closing - 19.00 relaxed at all, there is no bartender, the cleaner polishes the bar and does not shine. German pensioners, it should be noted, pampered the guys with “tips”, which significantly improved their mood and pumped their quickness.
LOBBY BAR
This one did work until the “last client”. Basically: companies for beer / wine were cut into cards in the evening. Bartenders are fluent in German, English and Russian within professional terminology : ). The waiters are moderately attentive, they don’t “get bored”, you need to “add” - you yourself go to the bar. Alcohol: beer - very light, light, good quality; a couple of times I took a gin / tonic, quite acceptable, wine of the “domestic” level in tetra packs. Poured into plastic non-disposable 250 gram glasses. In general, there are no complaints about drinks. Some from “our race” were insured in Duty Free, which, in principle, is quite justified.
STAFF
Exceptionally polite, attentive and correct. Even in the face of language barriers, they try to understand and please you. In our case, only the guy at the reception spoke clearly in Russian, when he was not there, we had to turn on the Anglo-German surzhik, depending on who / what he understood. The rest of the staff, if you're lucky. That's who skillfully bombed and chattered in "Russian" : ), so it's the sellers of excursions on the beach! ).
We didn't get to meet the guide, we just forgot. I left a note at the number with contact details, there was no reason to contact, we never met (.
TERRITORY
The location of the hotel is the closest to Luxor, so the travel time on long excursions is minimal. The area is huge with stunning landscaping. Nonstop cleaning. What is interesting is that there are even wide paths and gentle ramps everywhere, which is convenient for mothers with strollers and people with disabilities. We saw Germans with very old parents in wheelchairs, which probably speaks for itself.
