Rested with family. I don’t understand why there are so many positive reviews, probably written by people who first time in Egypt or went to the sea for the first time and they have nothing to compare with. We were in Egypt for the third time, the previous 2 hotels were also 4 stars, so that readers would not have the thought that before Labranda we lived in 5 stars.
We were brought to the hotel around 13:00. Registration at the reception was quick, gave the key and sent to the room.
ROOM. The room was located in building A on the second floor. The room is gloomy, very cold, there is little light / lighting, there was no sun either in the morning, or in the afternoon, or in the evening. The furniture is old, broken, shabby. Bed is good but pillows!! ! Of the four, ONE was like a pillow, it was impossible to sleep on the rest. Hard, knocked down by shreds, from which the head ached. The room is cold, the air conditioning does not work. There is dust on the furniture from the time of the Pharaohs. The settlement began with a general cleaning! Plumbing is a separate issue. Everything is rusty and leaking from all cracks. To wait in the morning and in the evening for hot water, you need to dance with tambourines for 20 minutes. There are no accessories in the bathroom, except for liquid soap (at the bottom of the container) by the sink and something incomprehensible and smelly in the shower. Towels are changed every day, although here we were pleased.

CLEANING. If you don't put up a "do not disturb" sign, the janitor will wake you up at 8 a. m. It is clear that at 8 am there is no time for cleaning, you ask to come in an hour, but he is not there and he is not there for a whole day! At three o'clock, when the sun is no longer warm and you return to the room right there CLEANING! Question! Where did this wonderful person go all day and why come at 8 in the morning? Room cleaning consists of washing the floor, and wiping glasses and mugs with a smelly rag. After cleaning, you take the cups and go and wash them one more time because it is impossible to drink from them, you can feel sick from their smell (sorry, but I write as it is). Bed linen is changed every 3 days.
NUTRITION. Separate topic. The food is monotonous. Every day is the same, there is no variety. All unappetizing and tasteless. There is practically no meat. At lunch every day, grilled quail, or rather its bones, for dinner, grilled quail, which was not eaten at lunch, but already stewed. There was fish, but there was no desire to eat it either. For meat, or if something new edible suddenly appeared, then a queue of 20 people lined up and everyone was waiting for this wonderful dish to be prepared. To be honest, this kind of waiting makes you lose your appetite. Vegetables are lethargic. I saw fresh tomatoes several times in 10 days! Basically, everything was already sluggish, weathered. They save on cucumbers, instead of cucumbers, cucumber peels are cut with a slight hint of himself. DINNER. Outdoor lunch. And in the fresh air, birds, flies and even a cat eat with you))) Birds and flies are everywhere. They help you cook, put food on your plate and eat. Chairs and tables in bird droppings (sorry again). NEW YEAR. There was a lot of food for the New Year, but something unusual was in limited quantities, we arrived at 19.00 and we found many goodies only on the plates of vacationers. At 11 p. m. , all food was covered with a screen. On January 1 and 2, there was still the same familiar and monotonous food for us, but on JANUARY 3, we were fed food from the NEW YEAR table! And the icing on the cake was New Year's cakes and cakes on the EVENING of the 3rd.
ANIMATION. Animation? What's this? We never understood. The animators were seen in the morning by the pool for 20 minutes, at lunch, after dinner they danced by the pool for 3 minutes to the song, and that's all. In the evening we danced with the children for 20 minutes in the amphitheater. There was no music even by the pool, let alone the beach. No one knew what kind of events when, because. there was no one to tell.
