I went to Cairo on a business trip, so I didn't have to choose where to stay. There is a hotel somewhere outside the city, like a clear field, sorry - like in the desert. There is nothing nearby. The hotel has swimming pools, golf courses, several restaurants. The steak restaurant was unusual and the Lebanese restaurant awful, including a compliment from the chef - a dish with whole vegetables - cucumbers, peppers, lettuce and lemon - after such a compliment, the question arose - does the chef know how to cook? The room is not bad, water, kettle, coffee, tea, ironing board, bathrobe, slippers. The hotel is ideal for high-level business meetings - there are special rooms. But it is not intended for tourists - to go somewhere you need to take a taxi and go 40-45 minutes. I did not like Cairo - dirty, noisy, poor, the historical museum is renovated and the feeling that you are going on excavations, and the exhibits are dumped at random, but maybe the repair is over - 2.5 months have passed. A tour of the city was not worth it, but to be in Cairo and see nothing was somehow a shame. Have a good trip!
