We rested at Sunrise Mamlouk Palace 5 * from October 22 to October 29 with a 6-year-old child. Tour operator Anex tour.
They flew from Boryspil. First, 6 days before departure, his time was postponed by 10.5 hours, 2 days before departure by another 2 hours. And when they were already sitting on the plane, they detained them for another hour, because. were not allowed to leave. Nerves shook thoroughly. With great difficulty, hassle and overpayment, we changed train tickets to Kyiv and then walked around the city for 7 hours with the child. Many thanks to the kind people who suggested where to spend this time so as not to freeze the child !!!!
Arrived instead of 7-00 at 22-00. At the Hurghada airport, they immediately reported - a visa for two is $ 35 and that's it! If you don't want to, your problems, you won't get a migration card!
At the exit from the gloomy airport building, a guide was waiting for us. From the outside, the meeting of tourists by representatives of the tour operator looks like this - you are passed along the chain from one guide to another. Checking the list, boarding the bus - and go!
We met at the reception, helped to process the documents and after 10 minutes. we were given a key card, towel cards and a 15 euro discount at the spa (we never used it).
The room is large on the second floor, a large shower room, the interior of the room is in oriental style, the balcony overlooks the pools, there is a safe in the room, a hairdryer, an electric kettle, a tea-coffee-sugar set.
They didn’t wait for the luggage and went to dinner (when they returned, it was standing near the door). The restaurant is large, queues for scrambled eggs, pancakes in the morning. The restaurant has a separate children's section with a children's menu. But our child decided that he was already an adult and did not even fit there.
The usual menu for breakfast is a cut from several (4-5) types of cheese, sausages, in the corner of the hall a guy in gloves will cut it according to your desire and discretion. A variety of buns, puffs, cakes, croissants along with jams. The main juice for breakfast is orange, apple, mango, caracade, pineapple; next - guava juice. Fruits: orange, melon, dates, guava, pomegranate, banana, grapefruit, apple. For children - cereals and Nesquik breakfast cereals. Warm milk is included. Friendly waiters, understand Russian.
Dinner - themed, every day - a different national cuisine. There is no big difference - everything is delicious. Table service is polite and unobtrusive. If desired, you can dine by candlelight on the terrace of the restaurant.
The territory of the hotel is huge, you can use the neighboring hotel Sunrise Garden, there are 4 Italian and oriental restaurants on the territory of Sunrise Garden - they didn’t like it, Mexican and Asian - tasty and interesting interior.
Vacationers, for the most part, are Germans. Although in the last three days Russian speech has been heard a lot (on the beach - it does, the feeling that you are in the Crimea). The attitude of the staff is the same.
Above the main restaurant there is a bar with live music daily. On the territory there are bars that prepare pizza, sandwiches, hot dogs and grill meat, vegetables, and various goodies. And also after lunch ice cream in any quantity in bars, and for dinner in the main restaurant.
The territory is very beautiful, a lot of greenery, there is a stream with a fountain, there are two waterfalls.
The sea is good, the beach is sandy, the entry into the sea is normal, you can not use special shoes.
The animation was during the day near the pools and on the beach, and in the evening we saw a children's disco near the main restaurant. But she was of little interest to us.
Anex guides are very pushy on the most expensive excursions (Israel, Mahmeya and a submarine)!! ! They wanted to take a Siscop tour for the child, so the guide rested, said that ONLY a submarine. The child did not want to go on a boat, and we generally refused excursions.
The return flight was at 8-00, we were taken from the hotel at 5-15 (distributing dry breakfasts in branded packages to everyone). So actually we rested only 6 days.
And in Boryspil, another surprise awaited us - our luggage was gone. True, after 4 days he was found - he flew to Domodedovo!
Conclusion: I liked the rest with the exception of its beginning and end. : ) In general, it's good in Egypt!! ! Especially when you get there from the cold autumn!
