This is my fourth time at the hotel.
A year ago, the Zahabiya Hotel, built in 1996, changed its owner. He changed the name a little.
As they say, a new broom sweeps in a new way. There are positive aspects: the staff began to work more quickly and efficiently, and the nasty lifeguard from the beach named Omar, whom I have been observing for several years, even stopped harassing women, like his friend Ali. Apparently, this is now strictly prohibited for them. Now the poor people are constantly working: either sweeping the beach, leveling it, or wiping mattresses and tables with rags. Nothing like this had ever occurred to them before. A bar started operating on the far beach. The reef, as always, is magnificent....but this is not about the hotel...Not their merit....
We opened a new reception. It's beautiful there.
Wi-Fi is now available throughout the hotel, and not just at the reception, as before. This is great

All the managers have changed, the restaurant has become cleaner, and sometimes they even wash the floor. Grilled meat every evening!
It used to be every day.
There are also bad changes...
The Caw cafe on site is now paid for. New managers have chosen this place for their evening gatherings, and they do not need hotel guests nearby. They even removed some of the lights from the cafe's faç ade so that it would attract less attention. And the guests were kicked out to sit by the pool, where the only all-inclusive service was for drinks. Nowadays they don’t like Russians in hotels, they try to give them a simpler room, people are indignant. Some rooms are undergoing major renovations. It’s high time, otherwise everything has already rotted away from old age, since 1996. I immediately asked to change my mattress cover, which stank of urine, from an unknown number of children suffering from enuresis....Well, it’s as always, in this hotel...Well and, of course, all the servants look at the guests as if they were walking dollars...
In general, the atmosphere in the hotel has changed. Previously, there was an atmosphere of indiscriminate friendliness everywhere, but now it’s somehow tense.
The staff are not used to working so much, so they look unhappy. The music is constantly playing the same, for 2 weeks, I got very tired
