Our room was excellent. For 3 * even very much. In the 6th building, apart. , Two rooms - a bedroom and a living room with an equipped kitchenette, a bar counter. A new TV, a large refrigerator, sofas, armchairs, everything is very decent, new. In the kitchen a set of dishes, appliances, an electric stove and an electric kettle. Of course, I didn’t use the stove, but I brewed coffee, because it’s not coffee in the restaurant. The room has a balcony with folding chairs and a table. I immediately bought a 5 liter bottle in a shop on the territory of the hotel, it was quite enough for 2 for a week. Of the minuses of the room: 1. Lack of a hair dryer.
2. Loud air conditioning (and not only for me)
3. Strange location of sockets and their sizes. There is only one socket near the bed in the bedroom, for some reason there is not near the mirror. There are several in the living room, but I could only turn on the hairdryer in one. The hair dryer didn't work.
The food, to put it mildly, is meager. Well, just so you don’t go hungry, but nothing more. In my opinion, the breakfasts were the best. Believe me, I’m not picky, but really, it’s just not tasty. - overcooked to a crisp. Only a few times it was pretty good, cooked meat. But in the city at a local fish restaurant I "came off" on seafood in full, very tasty, especially mussel soup and shrimp in a pot. Still quite strange with "all in" system for issuing drinks-under signature!!! ! I see this for the first time and I don’t understand the meaning of this procedure. Moreover, drinks are everywhere and everything is in disposable cups. The quality of drinks is the same as in other hotels, no worse, no better.
BEACH. In capital letters, because it's really cool, although going to it across the road, but not much longer in distance than in the same Aladdin from the new buildings.
The beach is suitable for all ages and categories of those who can swim. And those who can’t too. Here you have the knee-deep sea for little ones, a little further for those who swim, but not very good, a little further a coral reef in all its glory. The fish swam right to the shore , my daughter just didn’t get out of the water, she just stuck her head in the water, her booty up. In general, the beach atoned for all the shortcomings of the hotel. There are showers on the beach, two drinks with the loud name "Bar", sun loungers are not new, but strong. towel is a piece of cardboard, which we periodically forgot in the room, but towels were given to us without it.
Animation? ! The question is complicated. The fact is that by the time we arrived at the hotel, a lot of Arab families were resting and very few of our compatriots and Europeans. The local animator himself said that it’s difficult to make a normal show without Russians (read Russian speakers). Zakhabia was nevertheless taken. There was no disco.
The staff is friendly, not arrogant. And our cleaner in the room is just smart. What he made for us from towels is really beautiful, the room was just licked, all my numerous bottles and jars were placed each on a separate napkin, flowers in a vase. For a birthday he gave his daughter a camel soft toy - the next day we treated him to a birthday cake. The day before we left, we found him in the room, he was finishing cleaning. there were inexpensive beads, you know, it was so touching. Of course, I don’t wear such things, but my gratitude was sincere.
From excursions this time I went on a safari. This time we saw a mirage-lake, so obvious, just amazing. The show after dinner was a little better than last time, I really liked the skirt dance. Apparently there are several teams, and this time the artists were better. Once again we visited the paradise island, when we swam near the reef we saw a moray eel, impressive!
Last time we didn’t have time to go to El Gouna, we went this time. Of course, it’s a very beautiful place, I recommend going. there was not much time, and it was already very hot for long trips. At this time, boat trips are just right.
Well, actually, we celebrated my daughter’s birthday wonderfully, she is very pleased. Our safari guide, whom we know from our last visit, helped organize a disco in King Tut, they decorated it with garlands, balls, sparkles. At 12 o’clock, the music and DJ stopped announced in several languages that Diana was 9 years old and then a cake with candles, a traditional Happy Best Day, applause, gifts. Our guests were international and Russians, and Egyptians, and Poles, and a girl from Belarus. further, during the music, congratulations were repeated all the time.
At the hotel in the evening before the show, they also brought out a cake from the hotel, congratulated. Diana treated her girlfriends with a cake (she made friends with 2 Egyptians and a Russian girl, and they all rushed around the hotel together).
