I will add my opinion: the hotel is old but well-groomed, the territory is green, tidy, rooms for 4, there is no sea, the lagoon is small, the pool is good, the food is not bad but monotonous, the booze is Egyptian. If it's stupid to sit in a hotel and drink, of course you'll get bored. Who goes with the expectation to spend the entire holiday in the hotel, the flag in hand and in another hotel, sorry for completely different money.
Recommend one day at the hotel alone on the tour. All the same, this is Egypt, there is something to see here. Therefore, when purchasing vouchers from a tour operator, check the positions of medical insurance because on the spot the guides sell their excursions by pushing for insurance, and this is usually a scam (but not always).

When buying a tour, we were offered medical insurance for the period of our stay in Egypt, independent of who we buy excursions from. Such insurance costs a little more, but how much money we saved! We bought tickets on the beach 2 times cheaper and went on excursions TOGETHER with those who bought from the tour operator!
Sea and diving is just a song. The hotel rested guys from Chelyabinsk youth in a large crowd. Every day they rented a boat with diving equipment for a day with food, they got 20 bucks per person (due to the number of them there were 20 people) So they rested! I was envious of white envy, again, in the sea, dry law is fed but not watered, so who needs a free swill is not here!
And finally, about communication at the hotel, free WI-FI in the lobby, if you move the table to the front door, it catches perfectly, we put a laptop, we use free Internet, we save on cellular conversations.
