We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of September. We got into it by accident, because. we went on a vacation spontaneously in company with my sister, who was vacationing abroad for the first time. Considering that in Egypt and Turkey we always rest only in 5 *, I expected something terrible from Sultan Beach. But everything turned out not so bad. My sister was generally delighted, so those who go on vacation abroad for the first time, it is likely that they will like it.
So, in a nutshell, what was "good" and what was "bad".
Room - "good" - quite spacious, balcony, view of the courtyard with a lake, fountains and palm trees, side sea view; bed, as promised, changed every other day, towels every day. Even swans and hearts were "twisted" out of towels. The cleaner was periodically left with 5 pounds. "Bad" in the room is a bath, or rather not even a bath, but some kind of fence on the floor in the place where, according to the idea, there should be a bath. Shower without a hose, tightly attached to the wall, very inconvenient to wash. There was no hot water, as such, it flowed cool, slightly warmed up.

Food - "good", did not expect such a variety from a modest "four". Dinners were especially good, almost always something was fried on the street on the grill. There were always several types of meat dishes, always fish. In general - I liked it, you definitely will not stay hungry.
Alcohol - so-so, heavily diluted local drinks. You can only drink in a mix, such as "gin - tonic", "brandy - cola", etc. Once during the evening show, they ordered to make a "majito" ($ 7) at the bar, put on some talker and glare with this cocktail not lying.
Territory - "good" - compact and cozy, lots of greenery.
The sea - "bad" - there is no sea, only a shallow bay, sandwiched between the piers of neighboring hotels. For children, of course, it’s good to frolic in shallow water, but for those who travel to Egypt to look at the beautiful Red Sea, this is clearly not the right place.
Entertainment - "good" - at 12.00 aquajim and dancing. "Bad" - evening animation, sad amateur performances or contests like "mis hotel". We went to have fun across the road from the hotel to a hookah bar.
The contingent of vacationers is very diverse, Russians, Ukrainians, many Poles, Germans, Czechs, there were even French. Everything is very peaceful, no one burdened anyone. True, as always, there were individuals who occupied sunbeds on the beach or near the pool, putting their things on them, but they themselves did not appear. Well, such, as a rule, are found in any hotel. In principle, free sunbeds could always be found.
Another joke about beach towels. Towels are issued separately near the pool and separately on the beach. Moreover, you can take a towel only once a day, they keep records, write down the room number in the journal. You can not change during the day for fresh.

Tours. In order to still see the beauty of the Red Sea, we went on an excursion to a paradise island (I still did not understand what paradise was in it). Somewhere in the reviews we read that excursions can be bought across the street from the Sasha and Misha hotel. They bought it there, $15 per person. At 9-00 I took the minibus, brought to the pier in the area of ​ ​ the Intercontinental Hotel (10 minutes drive), gave out fins - masks and set off. They swam in total until 16-00. Having stopped twice on the reefs, we spent 1.5 hours on a paradise island. We had a good lunch along the way. The organizer of this tour, the VIP type, took us back to the hotel in his personal car : ). We enjoyed the trip immensely.
Summary - the hotel is suitable for those who are vacationing abroad for the first time, for not picky tourists, for tourists with children and older people. A hotel for a relaxing holiday, contraindicated for party youth and lovers of the beauty of the Red Sea.
